African, authentic restaurant with very tasty, fresh food, price/performance ratio is very good and you can still get delicious food at 12 at night, the owner is incredibly nice and tries very hard to make the guests happy -:) which he succeeds in. On the weekend There are often parties💥

Very warm to deal with. I think it's more of a West African meeting place and the mentality is good. Front room intended more as a bar or for entertainment. Eating in the back room. This isn't necessarily a standard for restaurants; But what counts is the food. Had tilapia with fufu. Was plentiful and well seasoned. West Africa...you don't necessarily need a fork. Fingers are part of it. The place setting also includes a handwashing bowl, soap and hand cream. Get involved and enjoy the food, the Ghanaian beer and the flair. PRAISES to Solomon and the cook!!! Are we coming back? CLEAR

The African Kingdom is 100 percent authentically Ghanaian: the ambience, the music, the food. We ate Red Red & Yam with Kontomire Stew and Chicken. Everything was super delicious! The African Kingdom is really recommended! The real Ghana Experience!

Was here for a function in the hall in the basement. Something needs to be done about the smell

The worst west African food I tried, service is bad and atmosphere is horrible, the food was not fresh, the bathroom was not clean, the bill had issues such as unexpected added cost, suddenly adding 8 euros to each meal just because they had fried bananas on when it’s supposed to be already in the meal. When we eventually agreed and paid the price, the bill was miscalculated and they returned less money than they should. Strongly unrecommended. I should have figured I shouldn’t stay when I saw the empty place. Big scam place!

I ordered waakye. Tbh what about that I got? Almost no stew on it. And the rice and beans are so dry. 2-3 pieces of small goat meat. Ah for real? For that money? Come on guys 😏

After waiting 1h30, served drinks once, we went from one room to another, which was not clean at all, very small with the freezer next to it. The portions, considering the price, were too expensive. I'm really afraid of getting sick after eating. To be checked urgently by hygiene! P.S.: He managed to serve us the starter after the main course 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Super friendly and fast service :) delicious food with large portions. Came across it by chance and will happily come back when the opportunity arises. If you like to eat traditional and hearty dishes, this is the right place ;)

The food was portioned in a decent size. Our fufu and soup were seasoned strongly and deliciously, which created a completely new taste experience. The meat was also very tender. Very friendly staff and good Afrobeat music in the store. Unfortunately I only have to make compromises for the toilet. That could be cleaner.

Bad food: no salad or vegetables, just plantain, and 1 slice of tomato, local very dirty and with mold, toilet dirty. Eating takes forever and the rice gets old. According to the waiter, the menu is old. But make available and charge more money, no drinks menu, waiter rude and shouts at his customer. Tables with dirty fabric place settings, not a restaurant, it's an African club. Please, please, health should visit this place. Not recommended, a cheating cave. No proper ventilation, no heating, PLEASE IT WAS VERY, VERY BAD. NOT RECOMMENDABLE.

Very, very tasty authentic West African food

I had a meal there recently and was shocked at how bad it was. So after two or three bites I stopped eating. Why the harsh criticism? First of all, the room where you eat and the bar area smell extremely musty. At first I didn't think anything of it, maybe that's part of the ambience? Whatever mustiness is in the air is reflected in the food. The dish arrived after about 15-20 minutes and was served in the next room. The dish was traditionally served, on a tray etc. The portion size was ok. The sideboard is rather modest. The appearance is reinforced by the pale colors of the dish. Without thinking twice, I started eating. However, I quickly realized that my expected idea or experience of the dish was not the one I was familiar with. It tasted quite the opposite, nothing like it should be. And the meat also tasted old and was covered in tendons and fat. Short, inedible. I paid quickly and told the innkeeper, after he asked me if I wanted to take it with me or what about it, that I just didn't like it. In fact, I paid it through one of his offered payment methods. For some inexplicable reason you can only pay in cash or transfer directly to an account number or Paypal. He then told me that he could offer me something else. The same dish just different. Or another dish. I told him that it shouldn't be like that and of course I no longer trust it. Although he was sorry for the inconvenience, he still took the money from me. That's why I'm writing the review here. Payback! I know something about this culture and its food, but if it doesn't taste good, it doesn't taste good. A tip for good African food in Berlin is next level - the name says it all!

Lovely owner and vibe! First time Fufu experience and it was delicious! The fish was also pretty good.

Der Besitzer & die Köchin sind beide etwas schüchtern, aber sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Im ersten Raum gibt es eine Bar, auch mit ghanaischen Getränken. Im hinteren Raum gibt es richtig leckeres Essen. Das Fufu war top! Der Laden hat seinen eigenen Charm mit Musik & sehr viel Herzlichkeit. Kann ich empfehlen!

Das Restaurant ist umgezogen und renoviert. Samson kümmert sich gut um seine Gäste und das Essen schmeckt. Man kann den Keller für eine Party mieten. Leider gerade keine Heizung wegen Energiekrise?!

Het rook er niet zo fris en het was er niet gezellig. Het leek wel op een bar in Ghana. Ik heb bonen met plantin gegeten en dat was lekker. De banku van mijn man was erg plat. De witte wijn was niet koud en werd in een verkeerd glas geschonken.

Me and a friend went there yesterday, and it was so good! I've never been to a Ghanian restaurant before, but I'm so glad I did. The owners were very friendly, and had a nice vibe, and the food was super good. I tried the "tuo zaafi" and was literally licking my fingers. I super recommend.
