Doreedos in Berlin

Today I ordered "Zander in wine and cream sauce with rice". I have severe gluten intolerance. The menu stated that the dish contained no wheat or rye products, but to be sure, I asked. The waiter went to the kitchen and assured me that the chef would prepare the dish without flour. Unfortunately, I got the typical gluten-related stomach ache shortly after eating it, and I'm sure the dish contained flour. Most likely in the wine sauce. I find the behavior of the restaurant staff irresponsible. They simply didn't take my illness seriously.

Very disappointing. Spare ribs were totally dry with hardly any meat on the bones. Fish was without any salt or spices and served with parboiled rice. Staff did not offer any solution or compensation after our feedback. Also when entering an empty restaurant it’s not the most friendly greeting to ask about reservation and when we said we did not, we were instructed that we need to finish within 90 minutes.

Delicious food, good service, great price/performance

I only go there from Wednesday to Friday because on these days the only professional waiter works, where you as a guest can relax because you know that he has mastered his craft and wants to please the guest. Since jazz music has been playing, I've been going to Doreedos more often. The other music always made me sick.

I would describe the restaurant as a classic 80s-90s style steakhouse. And that's not meant in a negative way. The food is cheap, but tastes very good. Steaks cooked as desired and taste good. the service was also very friendly. We would love to come back.

The filter steak and the lamb fillets were absolutely perfect, as was everything else.

Die Preise sind wirklich erstaunlich günstig, dabei ist das Essen lecker, der Kaffee auch. Das Restaurant ist rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir waren gestern spontan zu zweit hier und wurde nett bedient. Update 05/2022: Der Laden ist weiterhin super, keine Maskenpflicht mehr.

The shop is always very busy so you don't have to worry about the quality of the meat. I often eat the beef fillet or the rump 250 g English medium from the hot pan. As side dishes I can recommend leaf spinach with garlic and onions as well as the baked potato. I can't comment on the other dishes on the menu. The espresso I got after dinner last time was terrible, but I don't go there for coffee either. Otherwise, I can really recommend this store.

Freshly prepared and the beef is tender and on point. Unfortunately the goulash soup, meat and fries were very greasy, hence a star deduction. Staff very friendly and the food came quickly. Despite a spontaneous visit without a reservation, we still got a place for 5p.

The three of us were there in August and it was great. The food came to the table quickly, the service was very friendly and you can sit outside on a beautiful terrace. The prices are unbeatably cheap.

They are so nice and accommodating that you just have to feel comfortable. 😃 The food tastes good and the prices are really out of this world. -- So let's go and please always leave a seat free, I mean for me if I ever serve there. Actually quite nice there. So far the food has been okay. Unfortunately, the kitchen doesn't always implement everything the way the waiter took the order. Today's lunch menu was grilled pork medallions with mushrooms, cream sauce and French fries. Most of the French fries had been in the deep fryer twice and were therefore very old. The sauce was as thick as wallpaper paste with two slices of champions. The pork medallions, however, were well grilled. The accompanying salad was supposed to be with vinegar oil, but came with dressing. Too bad. And the tables inside could be a little cleaner. The waiters are friendly and apologized. I hope it will be better on the next visit.

Attention, do not visit this restaurant if you have children who cannot sit still and uninterrupted for 1 hour. We have been more or less regular customers at this restaurant and have always had problems with the children moving normally and running around on the terrace or outside the terrace. The service staff constantly asked us to keep the children quiet and sit down. Today we were more or less thrown out in a larger group, which was a huge disgrace. The restaurant is simple, prices are okay, service is okay, food is okay, but there is nothing outstanding. It's terrible how parents with children are discriminated against. I think something like that shouldn't happen these days.

The food was great every time, both the quality of the meat, the side dishes and the drinks. And of course the prices are really unbeatable. Unfortunately, the wrong payment was made for the third time when paying. It can happen, but three times in one year is too much for us. We won't be coming back, what a shame!

Very neat place! Extremely low prices. Of course not star cuisine, but everything tastes good and is more than plentiful. Perfect for family gatherings, friends, but also for two people, you can sit nicely in the large garden or terrace. There is also plenty of space inside. The staff is always funny and good for a saying.

First you are critical of the words “prices like 20 years ago”. But I was totally convinced of the opposite. So I had the beef Doreedos skewer. The meat was tasty and tender and the fries were super crispy. Simply a dream! I'll definitely come back to enjoy this!

Price performance ratio is unbeatable. Big portion. Service very nice. There's nothing wrong with it.

Very tasty food. The meat is served on a hot plate. Not only does it look stylish, it also keeps the meat warm until the end. Service is also great! We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Service is nice, ambience too. About 30 minutes after eating I sit on the toilet with bad cramps. Not recommendable.

Was there on June 16th Eating out for my brother's birthday. The table was booked for 4 p.m We had to wait 15 minutes to even place an order can. The order was not written down correctly But the crowning achievement was When eating, the various ingredients for the steak were not added at the same time or one was missing and the steak and another side dish were already cold. We then left the steakhouse.

Very good price/performance ratio

The Doreedos has developed excellently. From a 50% off price provider to a good restaurant with very humane prices with very good service and great dishes. Very extensive menu and one of the best Cordon Bleues in the city for just under 11 euros. Very tasty, my recommendation even if you're really hungry with a side dish of your choice.

I’m always amazed how good the food is here, and the wine. And they are so friendly. The place is clean and comfortable. I come from the opposite side of Berlin for them . And it’s all very well priced .

The Doredos offers a mixed experience. The waiter was very nice and attentive, although his perfume was so strong that it gave me a headache. Unfortunately, the toilets were sticky and dirty, which spoiled the overall impression. It was particularly unpleasant when I saw a waiter pouring schnapps back into the bottle - an absolute no-go in the catering industry. The food was average, but after the events described it is difficult to rate the visit positively.

Eleven of us were here yesterday and everyone was more than satisfied. Price performance is simply unbeatable, I had a 250g skirt steak with a good portion of fries for just €17, and for dessert there was the tartufo for €6. Steak was very good and how I wanted it (medium well). Tartufo also very tasty and recommended. The waiter was super friendly and quick, waited about 20-25 minutes for our order, but got everything at the same time, great. I don't think you can go wrong if you eat here.

If you love steak, you've come to the right place. The quality of the food is very good. For example, I had... a beef fillet, medium and it was great. There is something for everyone, even vegetarians will find something. The prices are unbeatable. The service is attentive and very friendly. It wasn't our last visit, for sure 👍

This place is now one of my favourite Steakhouses to visit. Other Doreedos I have visited just do not have the same customer care and attention to detail. The staff are very attentive and the food is cooked specifically to your specifications. An all round very pleasant occasion when dining here.

The food is top and inexpensive. Ambiance is nice and friendly staff. We recommend!

This was our first time there with our two children and we were really impressed. The atmosphere is nice and the food was very good. The steaks were some of the best we've had so far, cooked as requested and very tender. The service was great and very welcoming. Appetizers and sides can be quite large and appear to be for 2 people. Highly recommened and looking forward to going there again soon.

We ate here for the second time and were really happy with the food again. The service was again not convincing. It took ages until we received the drinks, the food didn't come at the same time, some of the orders were taken incorrectly or were completely forgotten. The staff wasn't really attentive either. Price-performance ratio is right, the portions are decent and the steaks were delivered with the desired degree of doneness.

A restaurant with good value for money. The waiter serves us kindly. My son, who happened to have a birthday, enjoyed the birthday party decorations. The bread before the meal is very soft. All other foods are delicious too.

I often eat there with my boyfriend and it's delicious. Only the meat preparation has slowed down, but the cocktails are very tasty. In summer it is also really nice to sit outside. It's always busy and the waiters are very friendly.

The location is great, the atmosphere is nice, the prices are average (about twenty euros for a plate of filet, with a beer). The meat flavor is good, not the best, but acceptable, and the waiter speaks Arabic and German

I had the medallions and they were really tasty. However, it took about two hours for everything to come out again and I'm now dealing with food poisoning. My companions had other dishes and fortunately no problems... Service and prices were okay.

I fluctuate between 4 and 5 stars. The food is almost unbeatable in terms of price/performance ratio. At least the steaks were really, really good. The side dishes were also very good. I can't yet judge what the other dishes are like. The people there are super nice. We had to wait a bit because it was quite full, but oh well. All in all, we will definitely be coming back+++

Doreedos reminds me of La Plancha with its concept: almost full house at 6 p.m. on weekdays. Here there are generous portions for the hungry meat lover for the thaler, which is no longer so loose for many people, pleasantly seasoned, with mayo and ketchup included in a bottle. The waiters are in a good mood and the beer is nice and cold. If you want more, you have to go somewhere else. The four of us talked excitedly and loudly. Wheelchair users are used to grief, the path to the table is narrow, I didn't inspect the toilet.

Ein perfekter Ort. Super Essen, zu günstigen Preisen, um auch gute Gespräche führen zu können. Dazu tolles Personal vor Ort.

Riesenportionen, guter Preis. Leider war der Planters Punch Cocktail so dermaßen mit Sirup gesüßt, daß er für mich ungenießbar war. Habe ihn zurückgegeben.

Unglaublich günstige Preise und dabei unfassbar tolle Qualität der Speisen. Mega nettes Personal und gemütliche Einrichtung. Mir gehen die Superlativen aus. Ich brate keine Steaks mehr selber, es lohnt einfach nicht. Wir sind begeistert.

Weihnachtsfeiern sind für die Restaurants meist etwas undankbar, da oft versucht wird, das Essen für eine große Gruppe möglichst zeitgleich zur Verfügung zu stellen. Da entstehen manchmal Probleme wie auch hier geschehen. Mein Essen war gut(Fleischplatte), aber meine Kollegen habe zum Beispiel über den Reis und die Pommes gemeckert. Der Reis war leider noch nicht fertig gekocht und die Pommes hatten auch nicht die beste Konsistenz

Ich kann nur Jedem empfehlen dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, einfaches aber sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Das Fleisch war Mega zart und verdammt lecker. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Berlin sind wir wieder da.PS. Danach müsst Ihr noch ein Cocktail trinken.

Ein Erlebnis, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Essen spitze. Kein aufdringlicher Ober, kam nur wenn wir ihn baten. Alles in allem " Sehr gut".
