Great food, very traditional and with generous portions. We were very well attended and enjoyed it so much that we came back before our farewell to Berlin!

Good knuckle and good steak, but nothing spectacular. Little varied menu and high prices.

Actually recommended for the location. Where tourists are being ripped off next door, here you get decent portions for your money. And what's more, extremely tasty. Service is 1A, only the sauces shouldn't come out of the bag.

Second year in a row coming to Bavaria Berlin and it’s incredible! Great location around lots of sights and the food is 10/10. Super flavorful and all the dishes are delicious. Both inside and outside have great ambiance. Awesome place for authentic German food and vibes

A great Bavarian restaurant close to the main monuments of Berlin. The staff is very friendly and speaks English very well. The atmosphere is pleasant, the beer is good, the food is delicious. The prices are a little high but it's worth it. I recommend this place to everyone to try typical bavarian dishes.

Warm environment with a purely German atmosphere, friendly and helpful service (they understand English perfectly) and very good food. I highly recommend it if you want to try German and specifically Bavarian food. We spent around 35 euros each, which for what we ate is absolutely fine.

Food was ok, but is probably aimed more at tourists who follow a Bavarian cliché. What wasn't great was that the drinks were too warm, but when asked, there were no ice cubes and no colder drink was offered.

The place was decent—not amazing, but okay. However, it’s extremely touristy, so if you’re after a more local experience, this might not be the best choice. The food was delicious, and the beer was excellent! The service was alright, though we had to wait a bit at the start, even though it wasn’t crowded.

I fell for the advert outside the restaurant saying that a dish of the day was only 16 euros. Then they charged me 28 euros.

I had the sausage platter and am simply impressed. I can only recommend it. I was there for Christmas with my family and I have to say that there is something to suit every taste.

a bit pricey but the food was fantastic. Pork knuckle (€25) was juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside and the sauerkraut was a great addition. Surprisingly I loved the pretzel salad, it had the most delicious vinaigrette! The wait for the food took over 45 minutes, but they say it was a system error and not an everyday issue, so I would still recommend it

My wife and I are currently on a tour of Europe. When we arrived in Berlin, Germany, we naturally wanted to try German cuisine. Luckily we came across Bavarian. We were very impressed and I have to say that pork knuckle is now one of my favorite dishes.

This place felt so authentic to me, I really enjoyed coming here and trying beer for the first time. The food was tasty and the service was exceptional. Really happy!

Maybe my expectations are too high, but asking for mustard and then having Bautzener mustard served in small sachets is quite sporting. The knuckle was very tough for my taste. The service lady wanted to serve me another knuckle, which I found super friendly. The ambience with the missing ceiling is definitely not industrial design. Effortless furniture. In terms of price, I found the food to be absolutely inappropriate given the shallow taste and a pure tourist rip-off. I'm from Berlin. My husband really enjoyed the Wiener Schnitzel.

Guided by good reviews on google, we stopped by this restaurant and were disappointed. The food is on the verge of being edible, the meat is not roasted but boiled, the side dishes are tasteless and disgusting. We ordered mineral water, we got still water, the beer was served warm, and the prices are terribly expensive, for your good experience avoid this restaurant

Cozy place good local food and still well paid negative note is asking me for a tip without the possibility of refusing, saying that it is a local habit.. in reality it didn't seem like it to me and it seemed incorrect to me I won't go there again!

Unfortunately, Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad was very bland and didn't taste like anything. In general, spices were saved.

A typical German / Bavarian cuisine place. A bit touristy. We enjoyed our visit. Duck and goose were in particular good.

We went with the recommendation that we had to eat knuckle and it was spectacular. My partner ordered it and I dared to have a potato and onion soup that was a fine cream, something sublime. As often happens to us, we pay the same for food as for drinks but the price is more than correct. I would return without a doubt

The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled duck (Christmas special) with dumplings (Klöße). This is one of the most delicious and freshly prepared Klöße I have ever eaten. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the fat of the duck I ordered was not crispy (like I personally prefer) but the meat was tender and juicy. As dessert we had Kaiserschmarrn, which was served with plum "sauce". Such an amazing combination. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere transports you to Bayern. The music adds an Oktoberfest atmosphere. The experience was very good and they accepted Amex for payment. So, I would definitely come back.

Expensive, low quality, unsanitary food with some of the worst service I've ever had. The waiter coughed over food and utensils several times while in plane sight of the dining arias. I have no Idea how this place has 4.4 stars. We may have had a bad night but it was just BAD.

We arrived 2 minutes late and our table was already taken. Extremely unfriendly. We were a large group and wanted to celebrate a birthday. Absolutely wrong. Don't go there. Not worth it.

the staff member did not seem to have the will or the patience to put his leafblower down while passersby were passing by. he instead let them walk through leaves and dust the leafblower raised onto the sidewalk.

The reservation via Quandoo didn't work😵‍💫, but the store probably can't do anything about that. The landlord then spontaneously arranged a table for the 6 of us and was otherwise really nice.👍 The food isn't exactly cheap, Viennese veal schnitzel with potato salad €30 😱- but it's really delicious😋! One of the best schnitzels of my life🤤! The spaetzle, the Leberkäs, the goulash - all really good! The ambience: A bit rustic but somehow new. You don’t have to like it, we liked it :) After a tiring day of sightseeing in Berlin, it was exactly the shop I had imagined 😃

I belive that at one point, this restaurant was quite on par and was a great place to visit. They kept up the decor to get the Bavarian vibes, but the quality of food has been good, but not the best I've tried. The potato soup was quite good with a spicy kick, but surprisingly, it was quite a small portion. The schnitzel had too much breading and the meat was tough. Nothing to write home about. There are much better Bavarian restaurants in Berlin. What ticked me off, was at the end, the server knowing that I'm a foreigner, started strongly bucking for tips for a very basic service.

Wanted to have a drink after a long walk in Berlin. But they were turned away, it's a restaurant, you can't just drink, even though there were enough seats available. Impossible!!!

Visiting this place delightful. The staff is polite and the food came relatively fast. I had Schnitzel with seasonal pumpkin and it was amazing! The atmosphere is traditionally german and very cozy. If you want a traditional german meal, i highly recommend!

On February 26, 2024, looking for where to have lunch, we found this place that is not typical of Berlin, it is more reminiscent of the Munich and Nuremberg area, but I was passing through, it looked good and we decided to eat here, we tried the goulash and the potato soup , which were excellent, I don't know why Google maps didn't let me upload the photos here, but I uploaded them on the restaurant's public profile, the service was good, it is something particular to Germany, the service in all places is "good" not excellent . But the truth is that everything else was very very good. At some point we will return.

The food was okay but nothing amazing. The server noticed we were foreigners so pushed for a tip. We would have rated them higher if she didn't do that. Quite expensive anyway so unlikely we would go back.

I had the Veal Wurst at Bavaria Berlin for lunch recently. I’d give the dish 8.5/10 as it was well prepared. The sausage felt like it needed a bit of extra flavour on its own so it was good they have sauce on the side. The pretzel was nicely baked, albeit slightly too salty for my liking

I had the goulash and apple strudel. Wow. Definitely worth the money. One of my favorite meals of the trip to Berlin. I didn’t give full 5 star rating on atmosphere because there was this constant beep from some sort of alarm going off the entire time I was there. Otherwise perfect dinner. Would definitely go again.

Very cosy Bavarian style environment. Food is excellent and its amount per dish is proper. Service is fast and kind, loved the beer!

Really nothing to complain about, we had an exceptional welcome from the waitress and bartender! We ate very well, the dishes cost around twenty euros, we took a board of cold meats/cheese, a shank and a roast in a crust, it was so plentiful that the board would have been enough for us Everything was very clean Honestly, a great restaurant to absolutely do during your vacation!

It’s very very expensive for what you get. This snitchel is 30€?! It’s not even the best snitchel I have had. I’ve had better once that where way cheaper. They aren’t really friendly but you do get your food and drinks very fast. But I would not recommend this place. Not a lot of options and way to expensive for the food you get.

A bit of mixed drops here. The beer was good and the food came quickly, but some of the food was a bit boring and dry. The meatballs and warm potato salad were absolutely delicious, but the sausage salad was very tasteless. So it wasn't quite top. Or was it a lot of the typical German food you can expect in that kind of place. Just don't expect too much from the food.

A typical tourist restaurant. Prices according to tourists. I don't recommend it at all. The dishes we ordered were not tasty

It's a shame when various dishes are no longer available on Sundays around 6 p.m. Okay, the menu explicitly says "while stocks last"... but in my opinion it doesn't have to be that short. The wine we wanted was also no longer in stock. But maybe we just had a bad day? Overall, the dishes are priced quite ambitiously and the portions are still sufficient. But the service was very friendly.

Excellent food, place close to the center and monuments, also very nice. BUT, for a well-accustomed Italian it is the worst place to show up, the price of everything is excessive, the scam is around the corner, I ordered a dish where there was a side dish which was not given to me, at the request of this lastly I was asked for an additional 2 euros, which for many is not a big problem, the real problem arose at the checkout when we discovered that the 75cl water costs a whopping €7.50, paying a total of 15 euros for the water , a theft, recommended for those who want to throw money into water and side dishes.

PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE & INATTENTIVE WAITERS!!!! One star is just enough to describe our unpleasant experience in this place. After our dishes came, we were surprised by the big portion and could not finish the meal. We asked the waiter A if we can have takeaway boxes, he said “No, we don’t have boxes.” But on Google Map this restaurant has takeaway service, so I asked waiter B the same question, to which he replied “No, we finished the boxes. There are no boxes to give.” We had to not only force ourselves to eat as much as we could but also had to waste the food because of this. The waiters were so inattentive and we waited so long for the bill. Eventually, we walked upfront to pay, which is quite ridiculous already. The waiter then pointed out that the amount on the bill “does not contain tips”, and proceed to ask me “SO how much do you want to pay?” When I stated no tip, which is normal in Germany and tips are not mandatory, he replied “OH OKAY, SO YOU THINK THE SERVICE IS BAD.” I cannot believe the passive aggressive attitude this waiter gave when no tip is added. It only shows how much of the tourist trap place it is, by talking their customers into mandatory tipping, but also with such situation, he treated the customers like enemy. Will never return and also not recommend this place for people who visit Berlin. You deserve better treatment. Also everything is overpriced in this restaurant.

I wasn't thrilled... poorly prepared Bavarian dishes... Dry and not very juicy shank. Schnitzel with flaking breadcrumbs and a little mushroom sauce...Beer always good.. Bill? a steal.. I'm sorry: failed!
