A bit of mixed drops here. The beer was good and the food came quickly, but some of the food was a bit boring and dry. The meatballs and warm potato salad were absolutely delicious, but the sausage salad was very tasteless. So it wasn't quite top. Or was it a lot of the typical German food you can expect in that kind of place. Just don't expect too much from the food.

A touristic place, nothing special. There is no point in sitting. They also ask for tips, cuts

It's a shame when various dishes are no longer available on Sundays around 6 p.m. Okay, the menu explicitly says "while stocks last"... but in my opinion it doesn't have to be that short. The wine we wanted was also no longer in stock. But maybe we just had a bad day? Overall, the dishes are priced quite ambitiously and the portions are still sufficient. But the service was very friendly.

Excellent food, place close to the center and monuments, also very nice. BUT, for a well-accustomed Italian it is the worst place to show up, the price of everything is excessive, the scam is around the corner, I ordered a dish where there was a side dish which was not given to me, at the request of this lastly I was asked for an additional 2 euros, which for many is not a big problem, the real problem arose at the checkout when we discovered that the 75cl water costs a whopping €7.50, paying a total of 15 euros for the water , a theft, recommended for those who want to throw money into water and side dishes.

PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE & INATTENTIVE WAITERS!!!! One star is just enough to describe our unpleasant experience in this place. After our dishes came, we were surprised by the big portion and could not finish the meal. We asked the waiter A if we can have takeaway boxes, he said “No, we don’t have boxes.” But on Google Map this restaurant has takeaway service, so I asked waiter B the same question, to which he replied “No, we finished the boxes. There are no boxes to give.” We had to not only force ourselves to eat as much as we could but also had to waste the food because of this. The waiters were so inattentive and we waited so long for the bill. Eventually, we walked upfront to pay, which is quite ridiculous already. The waiter then pointed out that the amount on the bill “does not contain tips”, and proceed to ask me “SO how much do you want to pay?” When I stated no tip, which is normal in Germany and tips are not mandatory, he replied “OH OKAY, SO YOU THINK THE SERVICE IS BAD.” I cannot believe the passive aggressive attitude this waiter gave when no tip is added. It only shows how much of the tourist trap place it is, by talking their customers into mandatory tipping, but also with such situation, he treated the customers like enemy. Will never return and also not recommend this place for people who visit Berlin. You deserve better treatment. Also everything is overpriced in this restaurant.

I wasn't thrilled... poorly prepared Bavarian dishes... Dry and not very juicy shank. Schnitzel with flaking breadcrumbs and a little mushroom sauce...Beer always good.. Bill? a steal.. I'm sorry: failed!

Addressed to the owner, my card was stolen in the store, possibly by someone from the service, and after paying €405 on Monday, August 12 at 3:00 p.m., someone made another payment for €30 at 4:08 p.m., please... I didn't expect this, especially in Germany. I hope they know how to solve this problem and give me back the €30, it's not for the money but for the image I get...the rest is very good, maybe a little expensive.

I'm not used to leaving bad reviews, but nobody likes mockery! Tipping in Germany is not mandatory by law! Tricking people by saying that we are forced to leave her is incorrect! I don't recommend this place to anyone!

We asked the waiter if we could sit outside to have a drink, and I think he asked the owner of the place. The man looked at us and shouted, "This is a restaurant, I can't just serve drinks." We found this situation very absurd. Even if it was the best restaurant in Berlin, I would never pass by it again!

Thought this was going to be a tourist trap, but the food is actually very good. The pretzel salad is excellent. The sparkling water is served at room temperature for some reason (and currently the ice maker is broken), but overall we would definitely go back!

2024-07-28 After a week in Berlin, I probably give this lunch my gold medal for best lunch. Much thanks to the magically good goulash stew. Such a dark and magically tasty sauce with tender fine meat in it. It was served with good red and white coal and a perfect dumpling. Good dough, taste and good with the breadcrumbs. For that, a big good cold beer. In addition to the food, the outdoor seating was nice, close to the center and the sights. The service was top class as we were well received and received good recommendations. My table partner chose a schnitzel with chanterelle curd and potatoes which tasted good. We paid 860 Swedish kronor for this lunch, which is quite a lot. Despite that, I can warmly recommend this place and I will be happy to come back!

I had the crispy pork knuckle based on the waitress's recommendation. It was very good, crispy on the outside and warm and tender on the inside. The gravy and many different vegetables on the side were tasty as well. The staff was very friendly and checked on me several times. Large so you won't need an appetizer. My meal and drink came to 31 €.

Very nice restaurant. Food was tasty. Service was nice, but in the middle of the capital you are only served by English-speaking service?? When I paid I was immediately asked to give a tip? That was a bit questionable and the owner should perhaps explain it to the service team.

Bavarian restaurant with typical Teutonic dishes: from schnitzel with potatoes to pork shank. And of course good beer. The place is informal, with wooden tables and square tablecloths (for the staff: pay attention to the mice en place: the tablecloth on my table was visibly stained, but it doesn't matter). A place to go with friends or even as a couple, for a no-frills dinner. Nice waiter. Fast service and generous portions. I booked with Google directly from Google Maps. Very comfortable.

Don't have time to go down to Munich? Try Bavaria Berlin! We had excellent, traditional Bavarian fare and it was very close to Brandenburg Gate, as well as many other attractions. You will have to get the attention of your waiters. Go ahead and order your drink and food together, otherwise you might be waiting awhile for your server to come back. We'd definitely eat here again if in Berlin!

On Thursday I went to have lunch at this beautiful Bavarian theme restaurant. It was a great experience. Food was so delicious and the girl from the service was so nice to me , she had a great smile on her face . She was really friendly and gave a homely experience and was really great at talking to us. She had a charismatic aura and well trained and made our day better at the restaurant.

The waitress gives us a seat and when we just want to order drinks, the boss comes and throws us out again. Luckily there is another inn around the corner where you will be treated nicer.

Everyone, be careful with your calculations. Looking at the reviews, this behavior is common among Asians. The day before yesterday, I ordered 0.5L of dark beer (6 euros) and Haksen for 25 euros and enjoyed it. It's a bit salty When ordering, the male owner asked "Half a liter?" I asked When I said I would order 0.5L for 6 euros, I said once again, “Half liter six euros~” and everything went smoothly. Yeo Yeo-bing did not provide any service to me, but all she did was make eye contact and smile. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:35 p.m. and they said we could order until 9:00 p.m., but they didn't specify that they close at 9:30 p.m. The food didn't even come because they started collecting the items from the tables, including ours decoration. A German restaurant near the Holocaust Memorial. Really good German food. The veal schnitzel is really recommended, delicious and big Also the surfer, made really excellent Asparagus soup is less to my liking Shell potato soup. An apple strudel dessert with ice cream and whipped cream is excellent. The food is excellent, the service is a little less, the waiters are relatively short, but the food is satisfying. All in all a highly recommended restaurant. Vegans, you have nothing to look for there.

The food wasn’t good,our schnitzel was chewy,we ordered Aperol spritz,it was way too sweet and they didn’t have ice ?! A restaurant with no ice??? The service was ok,until the end,when the waiter started arguing with me about why we didn’t leave him a tip. We left him 10% anyway ( this is what his was looking for ) which again is not correct ,so overall we didn’t appreciate the attitude..or the food.

This was great. The desserts were very good and Ghafar, our server, was extremely helpful and kind. We had an overall amazing experience.

Apparently real German cuisine. I tried it for the first time. My whole family really liked the “pretzel salad” and “spaetzle” - German paste (in the picture). Good potato soup and asparagos soup. We also ordered goulash.

The kitchen does not cause any serious complaints. The dishes are of good quality, but not very large for a classic Bavarian restaurant. And not all dishes were perfectly prepared (for example, the shank was overcooked and the potato salad was too salty). The interior of the restaurant is well done, with a claim to authenticity. But the service in the establishment is terrible! What was most upsetting was that in response to a request for an invoice, they simply brought us a POS terminal and told us the amount to pay. After repeated requests for the bill, they brought it to us and threw it on the table, but the amount indicated was 10 euros less! When asked where the difference in cost came from, we were told that it was a “tip.” We don't mind giving a tip if the service is worth it, but we're not used to being blatantly forced to do so! If this is a fixed fee “for service”, then it must be mentioned in the menu and this amount must be indicated on the invoice. We had a strong feeling that we were simply deceived and tried to scam us. The mood was ruined.

Delicious food and friendly service. We went here for dinner and a few drinks. The food was very tasty and it didn't take long to arrive at the table. It should be noted that there is only a very small menu, but it is sufficient and increases the speed of preparation. (see pictures) When it comes to drinks, you have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, beer and wine are also available. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Gladly again.

Crazy prices for Berlin, questionable quality of the cuisine and cleanliness of the toilets that need to be seriously reviewed. On the other hand, friendly service, even if I had the impression of being in Paris when I was told (Friday evening 6 p.m.) that for a place on the terrace, it was obligatory to dine.

There were still many tables available but since there were only two of us we weren't allowed to sit down. Somehow very pathetic. It doesn't work at all

I hate to leave a bad review, but I have little choice in this case. All of the outside seating was taken so I went inside and sat to the right where there were some very large tables with nobody sitting at them. I caught the waiter's eye and ordered a drink. He asked if I wanted to move tables but I said I only want a quick drink. He then asked me to leave as I was not eating. He was bordering on rude and offered no explanation as to why I couldn't just have a simple drink.

With a high rating, we went for lunch there. The service was friendly and great but quite slow as there were just 2 waiters serving like 16 busy tables. Food was a bit of letdown, I had their roast with cabbage and odd kind of potato dupling with red and white cabbage (not sour enough) and potato soup (from powder I think) and my gf had asparagus soup (with a bit of curry - not bad actually) and a veal shnitzel with potato salat and asparagus with holandaise. We usually finish our plates, but none of us did here. 3 out of 5. Reading reviews after our meals, i see people recommending goulash, so maybe we just didn't chose well. Friendly service though, nice guys :)

It was a sunny day, so the tables on the outside were packed. As a result, the kitchen was overwhelmed. We waited more than 45 min between the order and the moment we got our dishes. So if you see the tables outside packed, go somewhere else unless you're not in a hurry. That being said, staff was aimable and the food was alright.

Food was good, but not very special. Good beer. We sat outside. Service was smooth. The only pity was that the waiter started begging for a tip during the checkout, "the service was not included and 10% would be normal anyway". I don't like this. So I didn't give 10% either.

Average welcome, one of the servers is really not friendly. very average food and high prices but the worst so-called obligatory tip of 10% on a bill of almost 300 euros paid in cash ever seen! despite our questions we are told that it is obligatory... I call it racketeering

After our meal, we were forced to pay for a service tip. We questioned then on the need for a tip and the waiter forced it on us even when we didn't want to pay for it. There was no exceptional service provided. Food wise, we ordered 2 pork Knuckles and a roast, knuckles had hair on them rendering the skin inedible.

Not far from the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe is the Bavaria Berlin restaurant. This establishment has a lovely terrace and a warm interior where you can enjoy traditional German dishes. The restaurant offers a short menu and daily suggestions, which focus on meat dishes. For my part, I opted for the cheese spaetzle with 1 liter of beer! It was perfect ! The quality/price ratio is correct. Allow around 30 euros per person.

I was offered to write a positive review for this restaurant in exchange for money, even though I had never been there. Unfortunately, anyone who works like this has only bought their reputation. 😕

We visited the Bavarian restaurant hoping to enjoy authentic local cuisine. The friendly welcome from the waiter was a pleasant start. We decided on the black beer, a Wiener schnitzel and the knuckle. The schnitzel, served with potato salad, was completely convincing in terms of taste. The knuckle, on the other hand, which was unfortunately still partially hairy, did not meet our expectations and needs to be reworked in the kitchen. Despite this small faux pas, the restaurant is definitely recommended for lovers of Bavarian cuisine.

Friday evening and we can't get into restaurant at 8.45 pm because kitchen is working only up to 9 pm, while local is open to 10 pm. After we heard kitchen is getting closed soon I asked if we can just sit for a drink, but waiter cut it off saying IT'S RESTAURANT, NOT PLACE TO SIT AND DRINK (?!) actually unbelivable, we can't eat, we can't drink, what kind of restaurant is that 🙃

The place is well decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was very slow, waiting more than 40 minutes for the first service. Other than that, the dish was not well served, especially considering the price (25 euros for the pork knuckle). Unfortunately it was not a good experience.

What a terrible restaurant. First we had been sitting on the terrace for half an hour and no one came to take our order. Moved inside because customers were helped there. Then the trouble started. We received our starter (soup) and main course (asparagus and accessories) at the same time. We immediately said this to the clerk. She said this was normal and there was nothing she could do about it. So half of our food was cold. We mentioned this to another waiter at checkout. The clerk in question was on her first day and did not know this. But other than that he couldn't do anything for us and we were looked at angrily and after paying 80!!! Euro more or less worked out this terrible place. Don't eat here! No service at all and the food was terribly disgusting

Unfortunately, we weren't able to sit there. As we heard, the chef did not agree to drinks without food (!). We were several people. I seriously can't start with a beer? After the first one, I would eat half the menu. The service was nice but the shock was severe. In other places, after asking if we could start with drinks, they were surprised that we asked.
