The soup was lukewarm, the onigiri was too bland, and the chashu was too salty. The beer was delicious.

Service is great! Everything was very tasty! At €1.50 the Pak Choi should be more than two leaves. Unfortunately that was the case for both of us. But that's the only thing that wasn't worth 5 stars! Thank you for the lovely evening

We ate there with the family (5). Our table was pre-booked. Ages from 21 to 57. Everyone was thrilled. Nice atmosphere, special menu not only in form but also in execution. Great selection of dishes, options for variation. The food came very quickly and we were served very friendly. We will come back and recommend the bar. Very tasty fresh food, portions are very filling, you can eat with chopsticks, but also with cutlery.

Authentische Gerichte die nicht nur unheimlich lecker, sondern auch bezahlbar sind, verpackt in einen freundlichen, effizienten und trotzdem nicht aufdringlichen Service. Wir haben sowohl Vorspeisen als auch Hauptmahlzeiten bestellt und sind mehr als satt geworden - ein Großteil der Hauptgerichte wurden mit nach Hause genommen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, und können jedem das Ramen 957 nur ans Herz legen!

The option on the website to reserve online is useful (also for special occasions) - but it loses its advantage if it is ignored. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff in both of my reservations was negative: a lack of willingness to accommodate the customer unfortunately extinguished any interest in giving them a third chance.

The food didn't necessarily meet my expectations. Not what I would have liked, but everyone has different tastes. The price was ok. Unfortunately, the ambience is just mediocre. Very loud when the restaurant is full. The service was good.

Been there for the 6th time. It simply tastes delicious every time and the ramen is at the top, even beyond the borders of Hesse. The chef is passionate and cooks with love, which is reflected in the food. My favorite are the Tan Tan Men. At the weekend it is best to reserve a table via the homepage.

I walked past the ramen bar while on a business trip today and was craving something warm because of my cold. The staff was extremely friendly and I didn't even have to wait 10 minutes until my soup was ready. My first ramen was super tasty. I chose Tantanmen with pork and chicken broth and didn't regret it. Highly recommended 😋

Disappointing experience for the price but friendly service. We were looking forward to a visit to the restaurant, but were unfortunately disappointed with the taste. The broth that was supposed to be the centerpiece of the dish was weak and barely flavorful - with no depth and no layer of oil, it just seemed bland. The noodles hardly absorbed any flavor and remained unconvincing. The toppings were presented rather carelessly: the pak choi looked as if it had simply been torn off and put in shortly before serving. My friend's natural tofu was gooey and completely unseasoned, which, together with the not very strong broth, made the whole dish seem pale. The pork belly was mostly fat, and the few strips of meat were tough and difficult to chew. Our starter, two onigiri, was also disappointing: very sparingly filled and mostly just rice. However, we would like to positively highlight the service, which was super friendly, fast and courteous - really great service! Nevertheless: For almost 50 euros we expected more overall and unfortunately we were not satisfied with the food. Due to our mixed experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Nice little restaurant with delicious and authentic cuisine. Big praise to the friendly waitress (with the red hair). Cash and card payments are also possible for small amounts.

The soup stock didn't have much of a strong effect, and the taste was a bit unsatisfying for Japanese people, but I still thought it was light and delicious. The chashu is very delicious. This is the chashu you should eat. All prices are reasonable. The menu is extensive, from snacks to ramen. It was full at lunchtime.

I had an excellent experience at this Japanese restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and rich flavors. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine!

I've been there several times and always found the food to be delicious (not the best ramen I've ever eaten, but definitely good and I was very happy to be able to eat ramen in Marburg). Unfortunately, I was there with my parents last August weekend just to eat ice cream (matcha & sesame). We also ordered a bottle of water. There were also 3 glasses with ice cubes. My mother put the ice cubes in my glass because she doesn't like them herself. The result was: my father and I caught something like Giardia lamblia or some other food poisoning, and in any case there was diarrhea and vomiting for one night and one day. Since we ate everything else straight away, it must have been the ice cubes or the ice cream from the ramen bar. It's a shame, the restaurant died for me.

Our visit with the children was a complete success as we all really enjoyed the food. I was particularly pleased by the variety of gluten-free dishes that were available despite my wheat intolerance. A return visit is definitely on our list!

Good selection of authentic dishes, prices are okay. The dishes are hearty and tasty, although sometimes too salty. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was hectic. The food didn't come until about an hour later and another half hour later for one person at the table. The staff was friendly but scattered. Even making amends for the delay took a quarter of an hour to arrive. There were also hygienic deficiencies: the table was sticky and some of the cutlery was greasy.

Were there for the second time. My ramen was very good but my partner's dish was a bland pile of rice with chicken and a few carrots. Everything on and around the table was sticky, splashed and therefore somehow dirty. The service was good.

Das Essen war gut, aber leider mussten wir zwei Stunden darauf warten. Ein Hauptgericht kam erst, nachdem alle anderen schon fertig waren und zwei Beilagen wurden vergessen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und bemüht, aber überlastet und die Küche kommt überhaupt nicht hinterher. Man sitzt leider sehr beengt und der Tisch im Eingangsbereich war doch eher ungemütlich. Ein weiteres Mal werden wir das Lokal vorerst nicht besuchen.

Unglaublich lecker, das Personal total freundlich und hilfsbereit; ich kann mich echt nicht beklagen. Nur 7€ für ein 0,2er Weinglas fand ich dann doch etwas zu heftig.

Very nice and fast service, the place to eat outside is very nice, a bit stuffy inside. Good vegan offer, although all ramen had meat with pork or pork broth. Otherwise delicious food and good value for money. Also nice location in the middle of the city.

By far the worst ramen we've ever eaten! The noodles were undercooked and stuck together in a huge lump at one end. The miso broth was far too salty, so that any aroma was skillfully masked and, contrary to the description on the menu, the egg was not inserted, but it was completely cooked to death...

Really cute place, friendly but not professional staff, and bad quality ramen. The ramen soup was way too salty for something that people supposed to drink. The noodles that was used are not ramen, more like “Asian egg noodles” in European supermarkets. Which was, over cooked. There are only two vegetables, one of them being not entirely fresh bean sprout and the other being the mais from can. My half egg was entirely cold when it was served, and also, very salty. When I told the waiter that the egg was cold, one of them said:” okay, at least you liked it.” And left. Described in another way, would be the same as going to a Italian restaurant and being served a pizza with taco bread and only mais and ketchup on top, with cold cheese. Don’t think it will be as acceptable since European people know how a good pizza taste like. I won’t come back again and will never recommend this place to another person. Especially if you are used to good east Asian food.

Very late. More than an hour to get tickets. Terrible service. You don't even enjoy the food anymore. Update. The person in charge lies and says that we received the tickets 20 minutes after the order. And he arrogantly argues that they are like that and that they did it perfect... If you want to receive this treatment, you know where to go... Success

The ramen was always delicious and the staff was always helpful. It makes sense to make a reservation (especially in the evening) if you want to eat on site, as the restaurant is very busy. However, as far as I know, reservation is only possible via a website, not by telephone. If you order food to take away, it can be transported using deposit-free reusable containers if you wish. I can highly recommend this location!

Son leeeentos. Pésimo servicio al cliente. Según ellos es nuestra culpa por pedir un plato elaborado de la carta. Muy tardado. Más de una hora para obtener las entradas. La comida después de hora y media llego y no estaba bien preparada. Al parecer son unos novatos jugando a tener un lugar serio. Nada recomendable.

We always come here from Wetzlar to eat ramen! The tables inside are very close together, you have to be able to handle that. When the weather is good you can also eat outside. Very nice service, great value for money and the most important thing: very, very tasty food.

One of the best ramen shops I've eaten at so far. The pork belly was so damn tender, it fell apart in your mouth. My wife had the salmon, which she also praised over the green clover. All in all a successful visit.

Einfach mein Lieblings Restaurant in ganz Marburg. Das essen ist immer eine 12/10 und schmeckt einfach fantastisch. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ambiente ist süß eingerichtet, im Sommer kann man super draußen sitzen, im Winter oder wenn es kalt ist, drinnen und am besten immer mit Reservierung weil, zu recht immer voll 😉.

There is very good and not expensive Japanese food here. However, the restaurant is very small and always packed, making it unsuitable for people with claustrophobia. You have to reserve about a week in advance. The waiting times are also long. Still a very good restaurant and worth recommending!

Currently 4.2? Undeserved! Because this store is worth a look. I was traveling in MR with my son and we spontaneously decided to take a look. It was full but the service assigned us a seat. Even though it was full, they briefly explained to us how everything worked and we only had the food at our table in what felt like 5 minutes later. It tasted excellent and I can just say that it definitely represented Japanese cuisine. No intrusive service. Rather friendly staff, always with a smile on their faces. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. ごちそうさまでした

Edit: Referring to the local's response; What exactly is the printing error? Should corn be part of Shio Ramen? And to be seated: we had reserved and were seated. Accordingly, the table should have been wiped before we sat down. Just an embarrassing justification. Unfortunately today's visit was an absolute failure. It started with a dirty table. Waiting time for the dishes is about 50 minutes. Starter came at the same time as the main courses. The Shio Ramen was served with corn, although this is not listed on the menu. When the complaint was made, the filling from the ramen was half-heartedly separated from the corn, so that the "new" dish still had corn in it. Only when the complaint was made again was the dish re-prepared. With a corresponding waiting time so that everyone else at the table has already finished eating. When it was served there was the passive-aggressive comment "So, the Shio Ramen WITHOUT corn." If you don't know your own menu, you should avoid such behavior. It's a good thing that there are other ramen restaurants nearby, so you can safely skip this place.

Really delicious food. The price-performance ratio is great. The rooms are very cramped. You wait a little longer after the food and drinks have been brought to place repeat orders. But this is also because the outdoor area has to be served. We come here often because the overall package just fits - great🙂

So, really something different! If you like assistive/Chinese food, you will definitely get your money's worth here too. The inventory is a bit old and could definitely use a refresh, but it is clean. The prices are all ok! The waitresses fluctuate between great and a bit overwhelmed. But everyone is polite and willing to provide information. And that brings us to the restaurant's biggest problem: the menu. Many of the names of dishes you've never heard before and you have to ask the waiter what's behind them. This is definitely better!!! Either with pictures or a better German description. Because of these subtleties I am deducting one star, more would not be justified and I hope I have provided some food for thought.

Due to an event in Marburg, we decided to eat here at the 957 Ramen Bar. Yes, it is in the pedestrian zone and there is the option to sit outside and in the backyard. The ambience in general is okay but not really inviting. The food we got or didn't get tasted quite good, not too strong and not too lightly seasoned. The service was generally satisfactory. When ordering, you don't have the option to trade with numbers but with the original Japanese dish names. You place the order with the name given below the dish in German. The order is then repeated by the service, but with the Japanese name. It would be advisable to number the dishes on the menu to avoid misunderstandings. The food was served and one of two dishes was wrong for a friend. This error in the second dish was complained to the service and they said "sorry, it was our mistake" but it would take 20 minutes to prepare the correctly ordered food again. We said this because there was still enough time. After 35 minutes the correctly ordered food was still not there. This was again complained to by our friend at the service and that she could no longer eat this because the time was too short and therefore we would not pay for the food due to the long waiting time. The discussion then began that you could take the food with you and you didn't want to throw it away. At just under 30 degrees the food would have been in the car for a good 5 hours, which isn't exactly healthy either. The boss probably came to our table and we continued to have a lot of discussion - they even wanted to know our names. In conclusion: you can definitely give food 7/10 points. However, when it comes to service quality, there is definitely room for improvement to ensure customer satisfaction. Due to the topic, this restaurant has unfortunately lost potential guests who could come back.

Wir waren jetzt zwei mal im 957Ramen. Beides Mal war der Service nicht optimal. Die Ramen und Vorspeisen waren immer lecker. Beim zweiten Besuch war meine Tochter dabei (7 Jahre) und ich fragte nach einer Kinder Portion. Nicht möglich… bei den Ramen und vielleicht den abgepackten Nudeln dafür verständlich. Aber bei gebratenen Nudeln irgendwie seltsam. Leider waren die Nudeln nicht lecker, eher matschig so das wir sie fast komplett wieder zurück gehen lassen haben. Beim ersten Besuch hatte ich Schweinebauch zu den Ramen bestellt, dieser wurde trotz zwei mal fragen erst gebracht als wir die Suppe quasi fertig hatten. Beim zweiten Besuch hatten wir im außen Bereich reserviert, leider sind wir in den Hinterhof geführt worden. Hier ist der Service selten gelaufen und wir haben lange auf unserer Getränke gewartet. Das Ambiente ist natürlich nicht sonderlich schön oder ansprechend. Man konnte die Küche beobachten.

Dieses Restaurant hat einen NICHT TYPISCHEN JAPANISCHEN Geschmack, lange Zubereitungszeiten, 45 minutes von der Bestellung bis zum Servieren einer Schüssel heißer Ramen, und die Ramen wurden mit klebrigen kalten Nudeln sowie Suppe serviert. Anschließend wurde es erneut Warmgemacht wieder 5 minutes verlust.... .. Backyard garden hat ein nettes Ambiente und relativ viele Sitzplätze für bis zu 32 Personen. Die Ramen haben wirklich nicht viel Seele, es ist nur eine Mischung von Zutaten in einer Schüssel. The taste of this restaurant is average, and the preparation time is long. It takes 45 minutes from ordering to serving a bowl of hot ramen. When the ramen is served, it is already sticky cold noodles... The environment in the back garden is good, and the seats are relatively crowded. , can seat up to 32 people. Ramen really has no soul, it's just a mix of ingredients mixed in a bowl.

It would be cool if you could choose something else as a vegetable topping instead of corn. Twisted zucchini strips would be nice 👍

Ich hatte Verpackungsmaterial im Essen, mir wurde dafür eine Vorspeise im Wert von 6€ als Entschädigung gebracht. Mein Ramen für 17.90€ habe ich trotzdem komplett bezahlt, obwohl ich nach meiner Entdeckung nicht weitergegessen habe. Sehr schade, weil es eigentlich wirklich lecker war … Kundenfreundlichkeit sieht aber anders aus.

Ich habe einen sehr schönen Abend mit meiner Freundin verbracht. Der Service konnte auf spontane Änderungen flexibel und höflich reagieren. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Vielleicht etwas salzig aber das ist Geschmacksache. Insgesamt ein tolles Restaurant. Empfehle ich weiter.

Alles supi, sehr netter Service, einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die veganen Ramen sind (im Verhältnis zu denen mit Fleisch) einfach ein bisschen teuer. Schmecken dafür aber total toll!

this restaurant used to have some of the nicest food in Marburg, but there was a change some months ago resulting in the prices of the food increasing and the quality dropping significantly. the broth of the ramen lacks flavour. in the yakisoba the noodles were soft, sticky and possibly unseasoned. the tofu was also completely without flavour. worst of all is the prices increasing so much, if the quality of the food remained as good as it was it could be justified, but this is not the case. I ordered tonight and ate only two bites, completely flavourless. definitely won’t be going back.

It's a great and carefully managed restaurant. Tantan men, Tatsutaage and the teriyaki chicken menu are particularly recommended. The pickled and marinated vegetables in these menus are absolutely outstanding!
