Hotel Carle in Marburg

A friendly, affordable hotel in Marburg-Cappel, with a great breakfast and a good restaurant. Everything has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are comfortable, though the building is quite noisy.

Very tasty food, the BBQ all you can eat is always a highlight

We stayed one night at the Hotel Carle. The food in the restaurant was very good. The breakfast the next morning was also good for the price. Only that night... I would have liked to sleep with the window open, but unfortunately that wasn't possible; it was too noisy. The rooms are simple and soundproof. The staff is friendly. We won't be back, it's a shame.

For me, it's the perfect hotel. I have everything I need, including breakfast. Being under the roof in summer could use a fan, but otherwise it's very nice.

I stayed at the hotel for one night on business. The room and the hotel in general were clean, the breakfast had a sufficiently large selection, and the staff was friendly. The value for money was definitely good.

The hotel's proximity makes it a great place to stay for my continuing education. There are certainly more suitable locations for visitors to Marburg. The rooms are clean, but lack a unique flair, and the breakfast is very good. The staff varies in their friendliness; unfortunately, the manager always seems very annoyed with his guests. The price-performance ratio is decent, as other than the room with a TV and weak Wi-Fi, there are no major amenities. The on-site restaurant is a plus for those who don't want to spend a lot of time searching for dinner in the evening.

I "only" visited the obviously recently renovated restaurant as part of a business lunch and can clearly recommend it. From the starter, pumpkin cream soup, to the non-alcoholic wheat freshly tapped from the tap, to the steak prepared to the minute, the kitchen and the service deserve praise. I'd love to come back.

We will be staying there for the next seven days. We work near a train station. The work will probably take 6 months, so I won't be here more often. The hotel has its own restaurant which is open late at night, 10 p.m. As an assembly craftsman, this is very important. I don't know the menu yet because we have a 12-hour shift, so you don't particularly feel like waiting another hour for food in the evening. The rooms are completely sufficient for one person. My room is approximately 25 m² with bathroom. Since I have a gaming laptop, I don't need TV, Sky or other outdated technology stuff. For older people who need this, ask if there are options before making a reservation. The rooms themselves are older, as the entire hotel is an old half-timbered house that has been renovated. The location of the hotel is rural, within walking distance there is a bakery and smaller shops, although they only open at around 7 a.m. Photos will be added later, have a relaxing day :).

During my business trip I stayed at the Hotel Carle and was completely satisfied. The rooms were new, very clean and had a pleasant atmosphere that was perfect for relaxing after a long day at work. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Your professionalism and helpfulness made my stay even more pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

As a stopover or ideal for old town + castle look

Friendly service, plenty of parking, nice play areas for children.

Dogs not allowed. Price/performance doesn't match the buffet price. We had a two-day celebration there that had been announced long in advance and the wine was empty after a short time on the second day.

Nice hotel in Cappel. The room was in the guest house and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and there is a roller shutter that closes properly. The negative point is the lack of a door on the shower, so the bathroom is still wet after showering
