Very tasty pizzas, a bit loud but still ok

Food wasn't even that good... half of the pizza had a crust and was soggy in the middle. Doesn't have much to do with Napoli Pizza, I'm half from Napoli. The service wasn't the best either, unfortunately no one came long after we were finished... It was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation, more like the volume at a train station. Well my conclusion... I don't have to have it again... Sorry not worth a visit 🤷🏻‍♀️

I highly recommend it. The food (pizza) was exactly what I wanted, and the staff was very friendly. I was here on a Friday evening.

Unfortunately, the pizza was always black on the bottom. The taste was nothing special and it was unnecessarily expensive. I think customers are misled by the location and the high price. I can only speak for the pizza, though; hopefully, the rest is better.

Tried the pizza for the first time yesterday. I was in Essen-Rüttenscheid this afternoon. The service was really top-notch, the pizza was OK. I wasn't convinced to try it again. The crust was very blackened in three places, the bottom was very dark, almost black, and the base underneath the cheese was still relatively raw. The sausage on top was mostly cold and red? Smoked? I hope so... Sorry, I'm not picky, but pizza from Naples can be better...

Great food, atmosphere and beautiful area

I'm simply shocked! We had just been served by a waiter with incredible skill. I reserved a table for two with a small note that it was the girl's birthday. After she ordered a drink, the waiter brought a second one as a gift in honor of her birthday. It was a pleasure! I made a mistake with my order, and they brought vegan pizza instead of vegan pizza. I was naturally annoyed because I realized the waiter was upset with the bakers and the pizza had to be thrown away (hopefully someone else eats it 🙏). But with a measured reaction to what had happened, the waiter said it was no big deal. After all that, I decided to thank him with a tip equal to the price of the pizza, but he, who seemed to have genuinely felt the situation (we had originally ordered a pizza and a drink for two people), said it was too much and took a few euros purely symbolically. I was impressed by how someone could be so competent in such a simple profession. I could be wrong, but his name could be Michael. Michael, thank you so much for the evening! *And the pizza was, as always, delicious!

No and no. I have to eat an Italian pizza with cutlery because the center is so soft there's no other option? I have to wait 50 minutes for my pizza? I get served a lukewarm pizza? I wasn't surprised when I watched the counter and saw that the pizzas had been sitting there for quite a while. The ingredients were good, by the way. Unfortunately, the flavor wasn't amazing, so the price wasn't right. Surf & Turf for €22 - my husband had the Amalfi. Cool idea, unfortunately not well executed. The tomatoes were cold. The dough was tasty, but, as I said, wobbly in the middle. Good ingredients used boringly, not enough courage. The foccacia is simply not foccacia. Apparently, they cut the pizza dough while it's still baked and without any toppings. They add oil and dips. Every Italian would be amazed. For us, it will be a one-time visit. Too expensive for a single pizza. This isn't explained by the good ingredients, which unfortunately simply don't live up to the standards of a pizza from Naples. The service, by the way, was friendly and attentive.

The food was really good. My only criticism: Even though the restaurant was fairly empty, two pizzas took over 30 minutes to arrive (perhaps due to too many online orders?).

A popular joint on a Saturday evening. The pizza tasted terrific and was extremely filling. Still managed the strawberry tiramisu for dessert - also great.

I was there today and wanted to eat the spaghetti. With which everyone is currently growing up. I was just told very rudely by the waiter that they weren't available today. Our waiter was in a bad mood the entire time and made this clear with annoyed hand expressions and facial expressions. I think it's a disgrace to be treated like that. You couldn't enjoy this stay!

I actually really enjoy going to the restaurant, but this time it was a complete disappointment! I came specifically for the noodle special, but it was already sold out at 7 p.m. The staff was also very unfriendly. I felt very uncomfortable throughout my entire stay. The staff gave snippy answers and spoke to us with annoyed facial expressions. They made their bad mood very obvious. In order to continue ordering water, we had to speak to the waitress several times. Unfortunately, they were more concerned with themselves than taking care of the customers. Unfortunately an absolute no go for me and not worth recommending!!!

The two of us enjoyed the Neapolitan pizza and the pasta in a pizza bowl. Very tasty food, friendly and fast service, relaxed atmosphere despite the central location. All in all, a very nice meal for a slightly upscale but local price.

Currently “the place to be” on the “Rü” if you like to eat a good pizza. ✅Atmosphere, stylishly furnished ✅Pizza is very powerful ✅Service quick and friendly In general the audience was very pleasant. My absolute recommendation if you like pizza and want to try something new 😃👍

Unfortunately for me the concept doesn't work at all. I have now given 60 STN the third chance, but every time the pizza is half burnt and half raw. Today I even had to throw up because the pizza tasted so burnt and was partly raw on the edges, and also super oily. The employee on the phone was very friendly but I will definitely never order food here again.

All in all just perfect! THANK YOU 😘 & when we are back in the Ruhr area, we will definitely come back 🍕

Super nice service, great pizza

All of our interactions with the staff were pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and modern. We appreciated all of the vegan pizza options. We ate around 21:00, so we did not have to wait to be seated and the food was brought quickly. However, I witnessed quite a few tense arguments in the kitchen amongst the staff (there was no yelling involved though). Our food was okay - the focaccia was undercooked and still doughy in some areas.

Best place in Essen for Naples style Pizza. We always look forward to the Truffle Pizza. Also the Seasonal menu is quite interesting. The decor is very chic and the servers are friendly with top class service.

If you're looking for low-sugar drinks here, you'll only find water, Cola Zero and tea. The pizzas are definitely delicious, but the topping and crust are in a ratio of 1:2, which means if you like a lot of pizza dough crust, this is the place for you.

Im Winter, eine Pizza, die sowieso nicht viel Wärme speichern kann, auf einem eiskalten Teller, belegt mit eiskaltem Kochschinken zu servieren ist bei dem Preis schon eine Zumutung. Jeden gelernten Koch würde das schütteln.

Wir waren schon öfter in Essen auf der Rü und gehen immer wieder gern ins 60 seconds to Napoli. Die Pizzen sind ein Traum. Wir sind absolute Fans. Cocktails sind auch zu empfehlen.

Wir waren im April 2025 bei 60 seconds to Napoli und es war einfach ein rundum perfekter Abend! Schon beim Betreten wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns direkt wohl. Das Ambiente ist modern und gemütlich, mit einem Hauch italienischem Flair – genau das Richtige für einen entspannten Abend. Das Essen? Ein absoluter Traum! Die Pizza war original neapolitanisch: fluffiger Rand, dünner Boden, frische Zutaten und perfekt im 60-Sekunden-Ofen gebacken. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die „Diavola“ – würzig, aromatisch und einfach unglaublich lecker. Auch die Antipasti waren ein Gedicht, und das Tiramisu zum Abschluss war die Krönung. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr authentisch – man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Ein echtes Stück Italien, das man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte!

I was in Essen on business and only had one opportunity to eat something for lunch. Luckily “60 seconds to Napoli” was on my way. The restaurant is welcoming, with plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome there. I ordered the “Margherita di Bufalina” with meat topping. The dough was particularly good – airy, aromatic and freshly baked. Overall, the pizza was very balanced in taste, the ingredients were fresh and high quality. For me it was an overall positive experience. I can definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back when I'm in Essen again.

Very nice but the pizza could have had more taste. I couldn't taste Napoli. The price is okay for the area and a bit too high for what you get.

The food was ok. The pizza was quite oily - but this is pointed out in the menu. The pizza was very dark from below. The taste was ok for me. The service was great - very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere doesn't suit pizza for me - but it's very appealing. All in all, a 3.5 for me - but that's a matter of taste for me. For others it's definitely 5 stars

The employee who was responsible for our table of 9 is a very friendly guy. I would come here again just because of him and the pizza was a 10/10! I had previously visited many Neapolitan pizza shops in Berlin, but this one really impressed me! Great team keep it up and greetings to the kitchen 🫶🏼

I had the antipasti platter - if you want to eat it as a starter you should share it. If you're alone, it's a main course. Delicious. There is also pizza bread and oils. The Sauvignon Blanc is good. Very nice service. Unfortunately the air conditioning was a bit cold today, which the service couldn't explain. Therefore an asterisk deducted from the B grade. Otherwise great.

With Burrata Bomb it was not obvious that it was pork (here: Nduja). Unfortunately, they weren't the first people to order this (according to the waiter). Had to pay for the pizza even though we had to return it. If it has already happened several times, why isn't there better advice or consideration?
