The best Vietnamese food in all of Berlin. Very simply designed ambience, but the main focus is on the food. The best summer rolls in Berlin and the Pho Bo is very good. We've been coming here for years and the quality always remains the same.
Not worth the price/performance ratio!
Staff doesn't speak German.
No card payments accepted... in the middle of Regensburg?! Yeah, you know why...
No thanks!
Tl;dr: Extremely unfriendly staff, disgusting food and a health risk.
We placed a €60 order. After a little more than an hour the food arrived. The noodles were okay, had a decent amount of bean sprouts.
However, that was the only praiseworthy thing. Because after eating it I felt a little sick. The duck was tough and the peanut sauce tasted like it was just salt. The highlight on top: there were STEEL WOOL REMAINERS in the red Thai curry!
Unfortunately, I only discovered these after I poured them into my rice. At first I only saw one piece, so we turned a blind eye and were prepared to compromise. After I saw that more of the sauce and vegetables were contaminated, we called again.
We asked the lady on the phone, who by the way misunderstood us several times due to her lack of knowledge of German, to have the dish sent to her again as compensation, but she didn't believe us and passed the phone on to the owner.
It was no different for him, and they would soon be finishing work (it was a Tuesday at almost 8 p.m. sharp, the store actually closes at 10 p.m.). Only after we threatened him that we would let the health department intervene did he pretend to comply with our demands. However, the food never arrived (as of 9:39 p.m.).
If I hadn't gotten something from my girlfriend, I would have gone out that evening with empty hands and stomach.
Edit as of Feb 21, 8:39 p.m.:
My girlfriend has food poisoning and I have diarrhea. Avoid store.
Very nice :)
big choise and quality still very good :)
Kind and nice atmosphere but here, like in vietnam rest, plays some piano songs, nothing like some guitar strings thing :D
Duck and nudles with special (i dont know) soja souce :) and peanuts salad :)
Restaurant with a nice ambience and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the food didn't convince me. I ordered a crispy duck with coconut sauce. The sauce was good. But the duck itself was a big disappointment: it looked old, as if it had been lying for several days, and didn't have the freshness you would expect. It's a shame, because with fresh ingredients the dish could have been a real highlight.
We ordered online through Mr.Hang and had it delivered because a flyer ended up in the mailbox.
I didn't taste any coconut milk in the Tom Ka Gai soup. I know it completely differently because I have ordered and eaten them many times.
Fried rice with vegetables and baked duck: The rice portion was quite large, the vegetables were homeopathic, but there was a lot of Chinese cabbage.
The duck, on the other hand, had a very thick fat edge of a good 5mm to which the baked dough stuck. Fat edge off, crunch gone!
The taste is typical of an Asian snack, but rather simple.
Delivery was quicker than expected, hence 4 stars for this service.
But the rest is only worth 2.
Try it once and it's enough!
