I ordered delivery via the homepage. When I asked 10 minutes after the desired time, I was told that I had chosen pickup but the driver was coming now. Another 10 minutes later I was told I had chosen pickup. When we arrived at the bistro, no order was ready and apparently no order had been received online.
The food is quite ok. The atmosphere is (as usual in Asia) bright, not so cozy and a lot of plastic. Not a kitchen for gourmets. The price reflects this, I don't know of any Asian that is cheaper, so it's up to man, but you should also be clear: You get what you paid and no more ;)
We conveniently pre-ordered the food in advance via WhatsApp and picked it up from the new store in Frohnhausen. If you pick up the food yourself, you get a 10% pick-up discount. Super good.
The fried noodles were still super warm at home and the vegetables were really crunchy. Really delicious. The sushi was also super freshly prepared and super tasty. Keep it up. We'd love to come back.
The food is really surprisingly good. I never usually write reviews, but I've been there a few times and picked something up or ordered something. It was always really good and properly cooked. He wouldn't miss it on the Schanze or Altona either. And a real enrichment for this corner. Keep it up!!
The 3.1 star average rating here is as accurate as it gets. I had duck/chicken with rice and gravy here with my brother and we both agreed:
It's the most okay-ish Asian food we've eaten to date. The rice tastes okay, the vegetables taste okay, the chicken tastes good and the peanut sauce, on the other hand, is actually just greasy and very unaromatic.
The peanut flavor is too subtle and the sauce ends up largely just serving as a lubricant for what would otherwise be a relatively dry meal.
Overall, the price-performance ratio (8 euros for the portion) is okay.
Two tips on how to improve the quality of the food:
1. More spices in the peanut sauce.
2. Bring more creativity into the menu.
3. The vegetables could be slightly more cooked, the broccoli, for example, had too much bite.
The menu is very simple, just different types of meat/fish, either breaded or not, with rice or noodles, with sauce or without. That's a pretty simple menu.
All in all: Good for in-between meals, but the food won't trigger astral travel in your taste buds.
Correct ms. Births at the entrance area. When I was waiting for my taxi outside the door (after spending a few hours in the club), I was so rudely hit on that I'm still horrified enough to write this rant here!!!
The store wasn't clean. I actually wanted to go back out, then ordered food from the flyer that was given to me. In the end I had to pay another, much higher price, which was hung on the top of the oily board using a Sharpie marker.
So I wouldn't go there again. I had to season the food myself at home, otherwise standard... an extra point because it was already prepared in the big pot. ;)
They make really delicious food.
Fair prices & I think it tastes delicious.
If you're not familiar with it and just see it from the street, it looks semi-inviting from the outside, but it's definitely worth stopping.
Because, by the way, it's super iconic that there's an old retro sign above the shop that says "Meat Products" :D
But you can definitely get delicious Asian food and it's a great vibe.

It's all been a LONG time...Unbelievable!! Today we bought groceries for €30 here only to realize when we got home that 90% of the items had been there for ONE YEAR! have expired. This is unbelievable and will definitely be reported. E.g. small Hello Kitty cookies that expired on March 22nd, 2024. How incredibly irresponsible and unhygienic.
