Viet Dream in Berlin

I always walked past the shop, curious to see if the food was good. Today I went. For my starter, I ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup for €5. The soup was served in a large bowl. The soup tasted good, and the ingredients were fresh. However, I have to say that I've had better-tasting Tom Kha Gai soups elsewhere, but this one is okay too. For my main course, I had baked chicken with mango curry sauce. The dish cost €11. I have to say I was impressed by the large portion. There was also a small salad with peanuts on top. The special thing about the sauce is that it was slightly spicy due to the use of curry. This is the first time for me that the sauce combined spiciness with fruity mango sauce with coconut milk and yet harmoniously blended it together. The portion was very filling and I enjoyed it very much. I can highly recommend the main course. The wait for soup was 3 minutes. I then picked up the main course from the counter. There's also a restroom. The few tables could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, the shop is spartanly furnished, but it's located right next to the Kurt-Schumacher-Platz subway station and easy to reach. The selection of dishes is also decent. There are appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

Viet Dream is a true gem! The food is fresh, aromatic, and beautifully presented, with authentic Vietnamese flavors. The staff is warm, attentive, and immediately puts you at ease. A perfect place for anyone who appreciates great food and excellent service—I'll definitely be back!

Good value for money. An older, grumpy-looking, but otherwise decent chef, salesperson, and a woman at the front, in charge of the Asian boxes. Unspectacular, but has everything you need in a hurry if you want something Asian.

I can't say much about the service because I just get something to eat. The food is delicious and prepared quickly.

I was there the first time just to try because I was working nearby this day. I have ordered a portion of satay chicken and egg fried rice with chicken. The chicken satay was not the best but it was ok. The chicken was very dry and you could taste it was frozen before. The peanut sauce was not to bad. The egg fried rice with chicken was really bad. The rice was very sticky and there was hardly any chicken in it. After the meal 3-4 hours passed and I had a very bad stomach. I think it’s due to hygiene of the workers. I can’t recommend this place. Try somewhere else.

The spring rolls, even though they only cost 3€ for 6 things, are unfortunately too small for me, a bit too much oil and not a lot of vegetables in them (more dough) but in themselves they are okay as a snack on the side, next to a real dish ;)

Very friendly service, delicious food. Unfortunately only cash payment possible. Viet Dream is an enrichment for Mahlow! We will be back and are excited about the further development of this restaurant.

I ordered a noodle box to take away with vegetables for €5. When I got home I saw that there was a chicken inside and a long black hair, so the box ended up in the trash. I wouldn't order from there again

Egg rice box for €5.50 was generously filled and nutritious. Communication with the chef/cashier/owner? It was difficult...I also had to wait a long time because the gentleman had placed a large order before me. Plastic cutlery breaks while you eat... be careful of broken plastic in your food!

I really enjoy eating the egg rice box with chicken here, for €5.50 you can't complain. Ordering is always no problem, the food comes promptly and tastes delicious.😊

Best value for money, very nice chef and, thanks to an associated Asian noodle stand that also processes orders, there is hardly any waiting time. The Viet Bowl in particular is always prepared with fresh herbs and is really recommended!

Hmm. So hygiene is not that well known in the store. The meat and vegetables are handled with the same hand that was used to handle the money. The China box may be cheap, but rice with chicken and so little sweet and sour sauce for €10 is a lot. Well, at least for what you get. Some of the vegetables behind the window were brown. There are casino machines in the store. The audience is accordingly. And I had to wait a long time... the rebellious regular guest is definitely preferred. A pity..

For a large portion of pasta, only 4 small pieces of chicken!! Impossible!! Also unfriendly!!

Kleiner vietnamesischer Imbiss an der Bushaltestelle und Ubahn Hof Kurt Schumacher Platz. Für einen Imbiss absolut ausreichend, das Essen war soweit gut (die gebackenen Wantans waren etwas zu kross, aber noch essbar), das Gemüse wird frisch zubereitet. Das Personal war freundlich. Es gibt die Gerichte zum mitnehmen, man kann aber auch im Laden essen. Allerdings könnte dieser etwas heller und freundlicher sein. Vor der Tür gibt es einen Stand, dort kann man eine Standard China Box zum mitnehmen kaufen.

Nudelbox sehr lecker, kann auch die Reisgerichte empfehlen mit gebackenem Hühnerfleisch Gemüse und Erdnuss Sauce

I landed up at this place by accident and then decided to give it a try. Has become my regular place to eat now. The food is simply amazing. The curry is just so so amazing. The guy who prepares the food doesn't speak English but makes yummy food. The location is very convenient as well since it's right outside the station. Totally recommend the place.

영어는 안 통하지만 직원은 친절했습니다. 음식도 양이 많았고 포 시킬때 주는 소스에 생마늘이랑 매운 홍고추 있어서 지나칠 수 없이 그냥 다 먹었습니다.

Hatte bis jetzt nur das Erdnuss - und Mangocurry. Erdnuss war ok aber Mango schmeckt toll ! Mitarbeiter bis jetzt immer freundlich gewesen.

Suppe war echt lecker, der rest war in Ordnung. Ich würde nochmal bestellen.

Ein Imbiss am Kurt Schumacher Platz mit freundlichem Personal

Essen eher mäßig im Geschmack, Preise ok, Personal teils freundlich, teils etwas muffelig, für eine schnelle Nudel oder Suppe ok

Ich habe nun 2 mal abends die 10A, also die Nudeln mit Tofu bestellt und ich war sehr begeistert. Ich habe es mit einem Freund geteilt und es war sogar genügend für uns zwei; für eine Person schon fast zu viel. Preislich ist der Laden mit vielen Gerichten unter 10 Euro human und der Geschmack hat überzeugt. Gerne wieder!

Molto buono. È la prima volta che mangio una specialità vietnamita, e devo dire che l'abbinamento dei sapori è squisito.

Heute Essen bestellt, kam etwas später, was wohl auf den Muttertag zurückzuführen sein dürfte. Das Essen war warm, reichlich und schmackhaft. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Zu empfehlen: - gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse und Garnelen - gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse und Ente kross

Es gibt leider NUR 3 Sterne weil der vietnamesische Koch echt toll ist, genauso wie die Vietnamesin draussen am Stand.Ich esse gerne Frühlingsrollen und bin wirklich immer begeistert. Sonst würde ich es nicht immer wieder essen. Leider ist der Chef nicht freundlich, er hilft mit, das rechne ich ihm hoch an, aber er ist wirklich alles andefe als freundlich. Im Gegenteil... Man bekommt keine Tüte, es wird nichts gefragt und wenn man einen extra Wunsch hat, hat man das Gefühl man macht was falsch. Schade weil die Mitarbeiter echt TOP siind,ebenso wie die Gerichte!!!

Ich habe Sonntag Abends nach Hause liefern lassen und bin wirklich positiv überrascht: Das Essen ist nicht nur schmackhaft und reichlich, auch der Lieferant äußerst höflich und zuverlässig. Die günstigen Preise lassen solch leckeres Essen nicht vermuten 😊 gerne wieder und JA, zu empfehlen!
