A well-known hotel investor from Wiesbaden offered €4.8 million in 2022. The owner wanted around €8 million. The house now has severe structural damage; the purchase and renovation are estimated at €12 to €16 million. The Wiesbaden public prosecutor's office is currently investigating the last tenant, Mestan Elbüken, of the “Krone Assmannshausen” hotel for fraud (delaying bankruptcy, wage fraud, tax evasion, etc.); His Harley has already been confiscated and his GmbH has been officially declared bankrupt.
