The conclusion in advance: There is very good Thai cuisine here, which justifies the slightly higher prices. If you want to save money, you can do so with the dishes from the lunch menu. To the restaurant: The “Buafah” calls itself “Thai Art Bistro” and is another Asian restaurant in the old town of Hanover. What makes “Buafah” different or better than its competitors? First of all, the concentration on Thai cuisine is, in my opinion, pleasing. It is not uncommon to find restaurants that offer the entire Asian palette, from sushi (Japan) to Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese cuisine. We ate at “Buafah” twice. I say “at” because eating in the bistro is/was not possible during Corona times. Both times these were typical curry dishes. 1x to take away. 1x with (own) delivery service. The curry was always very good. Specifically, this means perfect spiciness, well seasoned, tender chicken meat (sufficient) with matching vegetables and rice. “Bringing” also worked really well. Food was delivered hot and intact and the service was very friendly and attentive. *Update*: We ate at Buafah about 10 times. Several times in the restaurant, several meals "to go" and as a delivery service (directly from the restaurant). In my opinion, the Thai curry is the best you can currently get in Hanover and is worth the price. The lunch menu is unbeatable: each dish is served with a mixed salad and baked wontons as well as soup and costs EUR 7.80 or EUR 8.80 for the two expensive meats. The service is also unbeatable: always friendly and courteous. TOP! The restaurant now also has seating in front of the restaurant and appears to be adding additional outdoor seating to its own small garden.

The restaurant is always busy, which is understandable. The food is delicious, quickly prepared, and traditionally Thai, without any European adaptations. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are also fair and not overpriced. I would happily recommend it.

Food is simply not delivered even though the restaurant is close by. After 80 minutes of waiting and two calls that the staff responded with indifference, I cooked something for myself...
