Beautiful ambience. Quietly located. A great selection of food. The food was beautifully prepared and super tasty.

Good Thai restaurant in the middle of Hanover. Recommended. The green curry with duck, Guay Tiaow Phat Thai with duck and the papaya salad were delicious. The owner is very friendly and the restaurant is invitingly decorated with plants on the window sides. However, it can quickly get a bit loud if there are a lot of guests talking (the tables are close together due to the small shop space).

The Thai Art Bistro “Buafah” advertises “original Thai cuisine”. For me it was a little pearl of Asian cooking on the edge of Hanover's old town. I chose number 19 of the curries on offer (duck with yellow curry coconut milk sauce with potatoes, peppers, pineapple, onions, peanuts and rice) for €14.50. In general, the prices at “Buafah” are cheap, with very decent portions and good quality. My duck was crispy and delicious, hardly any fat or tendons. The level of spiciness was moderate, but it was open to the top if the guest wanted it! My friends were also happy with what was on their plates. The dining area is relatively manageable, with a few outdoor seats on the street and a few tables in the backyard, which is what we chose. There you sit protected from noise, cars and rain! But why “Art Bistro”? Now the guest room is tastefully decorated and is not at all reminiscent of the usual "Asian Baroque" with plastic tigers and pagodas that can be found everywhere else. I like it and will come back.

Cozy, if simple, restaurant. The menu is not overloaded, but there is still a great selection of authentic dishes. The massaman curry was good and appropriately spiced and very delicious. Service also very friendly. The prices are reasonable, some quite cheap.

The food has authentic Thai taste. Anyone who misses Thai food can stop by and try it. The restaurant is well decorated and has good service.

9 small pieces of meat that's all my main had. The soup tasted like taken out of a can. All had so much salt I could not finish it.

Our stop at Buafah was a spontaneous visit to a restaurant. The food was good. The service too, although the communication about the hot drink was a bit bumpy, but ultimately successful. The ambience is simple. While the blackheads criticized this as being uncoordinated, I found it inviting and not overloaded.

One of the best Asian restaurants in Hannover. The staff is nice and welcoming, the food tasty and affordable. Not the typical Asian kitsch when it comes to the interior design, decorated with nice plants. The only minus are the early closing times.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Hanover! The M10 menu is super tasty and perfectly recommended! All dishes are recommended.

We were there for dinner. It was well attended. The service staff had everything under control and the food was served quickly. Both starter and main course were very tasty, well seasoned and authentic. The dessert (glutinous rice filled with banana) was the highlight. Plus a fair price-performance ratio. You can definitely eat out here more often.

Nothing unusual but nice atmosphere, friendly service who also understands English (but no English menus) and good food with a good price-performance ratio. I don't have any more references to be able to compare it, so only 4 out of 5 but more like 4.5.

Every time we come to Hanover this is our favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, but unfortunately the service is so poor that the restaurant is losing customers. We won't come here again. Not recommended

Newly discovered this Thai Art Bistro. Bright thanks to large shutters, comfortably individually furnished, with very attentive service. In addition - especially at lunch - a logically structured module menu with a very well thought-out composition and very tasty dishes. It's not the quantity that matters, but the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. We are extremely satisfied.

Das Essen und das Ambiente waren hervorragend. Der Service hingegen nunja. Bestellungen wurden zwar schnell aufgenommen, aber: Wenn im Restaurant nichts mehr zu tun ist sollte man sich trotzdem nicht hinsetzen und (MIT TON!) Handyspiele spielen. Sorry, aber das finde ich einfach unangemessen. Ansonsten aber wirklich ein toller laden. Leckeres Essen zu einem sehr angemessenen Preis. Weiterempfehlung.

Das Essen war sehr gut 👍, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich vergisst schon das ein oder andere Essen was leider beim bezahlen auch passiert.wir kommen wieder achten aber genau was wer bestellt .

Super leckeres Essen! Super freundliches Personal! Das Essen kam schnell, war schön heiß und hat richtig gut geschmeckt. Die Ente war knusprig, das Gemüse frisch und knackig. So macht essen gehen Spaß :)

Vielleicht stand es heute unter keinem guten Stern mit uns und diesem Restaurant , denn: Der Tisch war nicht sauber, die Sets fleckig und mit Krümeln übersät. Dieses wurde von dem völlig überforderten Kellner quasi ignoriert, ich bekam lediglich auf Nachfrage ein Set vom anderen Tisch untergeschoben. Wir haben uns auch entschlossen , das Bier aus der Flasche zu trinken, die Gläser waren ebenfalls nicht sauber. Das 2. bestellte Bier war zu einem Viertel leer und sah aus wie schon mal serviert 😩 Als erstes wurde uns dann ein Hauptgericht serviert- dieses ging retour, da wir gerne erstmal unsere Vorspeisen zu uns nehmen wollten. Uns wurde gesagt, hier würde alles auf ein Mal serviert werden…🤔🤨! Bestellt hatten wir vorab satay Spieße und eine Tom Kha Gai Suppe, serviert wurde eine andere Suppe. Reklamation nicht möglich, der Kellner klatschte im wahrsten Sinne die Speisen auf den Tisch und entschwand ebenso schnell wieder. Kaum hatten wir die Vorspeisen gegessen, wurden uns die Hauptgänge serviert, rotes Curry mit Huhn und Hühnchen mit Zwiebel und cashew Kernen. Beides lecker, aber weder scharf noch typisch thailändisch- und wir sind häufig in Thailand und können durchaus Vergleiche ziehen. Die bestellte Chiliwürze, Salz etc. waren auch alles andere als appetitlich sauber angerichtet, wie man dem Foto entnehmen kann. Unser Fazit zu diesem Abend: wir werden auf keinen Fall wiederkommen, dazu passte viel zu viel nicht, vor allem der Service, auch wenn der Restaurantbetreiber sich dafür entschuldigte. Einzig die Preise sind sehr günstig, aber ich zahle lieber etwas mehr, auch für Sauberkeit.

Hier kann man sehr gut, sehr schnell und sehr preiswert essen. Die Speisen sind super gewürzt und und kommen gefühlt schon nach wenigen Sekunden, was der Qualität aber nicht schadet. Der Service ist auf zack und sehr nett.

Sehr lecker, so stellt man sich Thaiküche vor! Und keine Angst, wenn man doch keinen Wein auf der Karte findet, sie haben doch welchen.

Nach einem Spaziergang durch die Altstadt von Hannover sind wir Mittags aufgrund einer Empfehlung im Buafah gelandet. Ein einfaches und zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen. Da wir ostasiatische Küche sehr mögen, haben wir uns zweimal gebratene Nudeln mit Hühnerfleisch und einen Gemüseteller ebenfalls mit Hühnerfleisch bestellt. Dazu zwei alkoholfreie Bier rundeten die Mittagsmahlzeit ab. Das Essen kam zügig und schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Das Lokal liegt in der Altstadt und wirkt von außen etwas unscheinbar. Wir können es durchaus weiterempfehlen!!!!

Kleiner Imbiss mit Sitzplätzen ,Essen ist für den Preis Super. Bedienung am den Tag leicht verwirrt ,wir und unser Nachbartisch haben beide ein falsches Essen bekommen .hmm

4 Personen, 1 Baby. Das Essen war super lecker und alle waren am schwärmen. Meine Frau ist normalerweise sehr penibel mit ihrem Geschmack und noch schwanger😅ihr hat es auch sehr geschmeckt. Das Essen schmeckt sehr intensiv und wird sehr schön serviert. Danke wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Essen war eigentlich sehr lecker, jedoch war es einfach nicht besonders sauber in dem Restaurant, sodass das Gesamtbild einfach nicht gestimmt hat. Schade!

Ich habe hier die besten gebratenen Nudeln in meinem Leben gegessen! Der Tofu war super lecker und hatte genau die richtige Konsistenz. Mein Freund hatte ein Reiscurry und war auch sehr zufrieden. War auf jeden Fall nicht unser letzter Besuch. ☺️

Sehr gutes, frisches, pikantes Essen. Freundlicher Service. Mittagstisch unter 10 €.

Mitten in der Stadt und auf der Rückseite ein schattiger und ruhiger Platz. Die Speisen schmackhaft und gut gewürzt und das Personal aufmerksam.

Das Restaurant hat ein schönes Ambiente mitten in der Altstadt. Schön strukturierte Karte bei der man sich alle Gerichte mit Wunsch-Fleisch/Tofu bestellen kann. Eine gute Auswahl an Curries aber auch thailändischen Gerichten. Für meinen Geschmack hätte ruhig kräftiger gewürzt oder Würzsoßen und Gewürze (Limette, Foschsauce, etc.) am Tisch bereit gestellt werden können.

Geschmacklich fühle ich mich jedesmal nach Thailand versetzt, als ob ich mir wieder in Hua Hin vom Night Market Appetit geholt habe um dann in einer kleinen Seitenstraße sitzend das Green Curry zu genießen.

Best Thai restaurant in Hannover so far!! We had Thai curries: it was flavorful and spicy and the portions were huge. It was very well worth the price. The service was also very good. Definitely a must-try!
