After nine years, I finally had the feeling of enjoying a meal that tasted like my mother's. I visited this Syrian restaurant in Lübeck and was impressed from the start. The food was simply delicious - rich, authentic and prepared with lots of love. Although I only ordered one portion for one person, the amount was generous. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The service was also outstanding: the staff were extremely friendly, respectful and courteous. They even assured me that I wouldn't have to pay anything if I didn't like the food - an incredible testament to their trust in their own kitchen! Such Syrian restaurants set the standard for hospitality and authenticity. A great culinary change in the restaurant landscape. Great service and a nice ambience. However, I didn't feel like my grilled fish was actually grilled.

Delicious food, definitely recommended. Very friendly staff too. Unfortunately it rained when we visited (in June 2024), but when the sun is shining the garden is certainly a great experience.
