Rosana Restaurant in Schönberg (Holstein)

Delicious food, definitely recommended. Very friendly staff too. Unfortunately it rained when we visited (in June 2024), but when the sun is shining the garden is certainly a great experience.

The food was absolutely ok, but it was way too expensive for what it was.

The food, a grilled plate, tasted good, unfortunately the salad on the plate was not dressed. Given the price of just under €30, it was a small portion and the way it was served was very old fashioned. Price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired.

Very tasty and fresh food. The service was nice and the waiting time was acceptable. There were two of us there and we were very satisfied. We'll definitely come back.

Great experience to experience Syrian food. We had the grilled plate, which was super tasty (the portion size was completely sufficient), but on my next visit I would order bulgur rice instead of fries. Unfortunately, the external impression of the restaurant takes more than getting used to...

For us, the first time Syrian food and it was so delicious! We ordered and shared a colorful selection of dishes. Everything convinced us and we will definitely come back again! Outside with the setting sun, nice service, with a lemonade or ayran, overall a very nice visit to the restaurant. Addendum: the second time was also simply convincing! A pleasure 🫠

We ate in this restaurant on our first evening. The music was very nice and the appetizers were very tasty. The service was very friendly and tried to do everything right for us. We ordered the grill plate for two and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. It's worth eating there. Syrian cuisine, a dream.

Food was good, but unfortunately the service was a disaster. The menu cards were all stacked in a pile instead of being given to us in our hands. When I asked what exactly Kunefe was or what it was made of, neither waiter had an answer, and one of them couldn't speak German either. But no attempt was made to give us an answer (someone has to know?!). At the next table someone asked what Baba Ganoush was. That couldn't be answered either. Waiting times for the dishes were clearly too long, food came to our table one after the other and we had to go to the counter to pay (after no one showed up for ages or asked if we needed anything else).

Anyone who has ever eaten in a good Syrian restaurant will be disappointed here. Unfortunately the food isn't really tasty. The lettuce had brown spots, onions were dried out and the bread wasn't fresh. It just didn't taste good either. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio is not right here at all, prices are far too high for little quality. Only the really friendly service can be rated positively.

Extremely delicious food. Even shortly before the end we received a warm welcome. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The Cig Köfte were the tastiest I've ever had the pleasure of eating.

The food was impeccable. Good quality and very nicely decorated. The ambience has been partially renovated. The only criterion is the green space at the playground that is part of it. These could be better maintained.

I think the food tastes very good. There is a large selection, especially vegetarian options. The food is exceptional and therefore I recommend a visit. Overall, however, expectations should not be too high. The service is friendly but can be improved in some ways. Overall, it doesn't seem entirely professional in many places, but if someone cooks with passion, I can accept that. The food for 4 people didn't come at the same time, but for 2 people at the same time and the grill plate for 2 people about 7-10 minutes later. You shouldn't compare price-performance with a kebab snack bar, even if some of the dishes are similar. We liked the milkshakes. Although it was relatively empty, with 3 tables occupied, it took a relatively long time for the drinks and food to arrive. I would be worried about the wait if it's busy. Despite the constructive criticism, I ask that you give the restaurant a chance! Photo shows the grill plate for 2 people for €49.90.

Don't take cards. No major fault with the food but priceless considering the quality

The food at Rosana was really excellent. We had the mixed starters, Fatah and a great Turkish dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly!

The Rosana Restaurant is a true gem! Traditionally furnished, it exudes a very special charm. Syrian music plays in the background, creating an authentic atmosphere. The service is friendly and courteous, and is always available to answer questions about the unfamiliar dishes - sometimes even with interesting videos on how they are made. The Moroccan mint tea is a highlight, not only in terms of taste, but also in its presentation: a beautiful pot, a stylish tea glass and an elegant tray. The main dishes are also impressive because they are lovingly prepared and taste absolutely delicious. We thank you for the wonderful hospitality and look forward to seeing you again!

Absolutely recommended, great food, super attentive and friendly service, something different and we were very excited. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point, the outdoor areas are unfortunately very enchanted and do not show the potential of the kitchen/service. Unfortunately, the first impression is a bit intimidating. Otherwise it would absolutely be worth 5 stars.

We ate there with friends yesterday. The mixed starters No. 1 were extremely delicious. For the main course I had the grill platter. This is highly recommended. And for dessert there was kunafa. This is absolutely fantastic! The service is attentive and friendly. You feel welcome here. We will go here often.

Food was super tasty and the price was good too. The service (we were the only guests) was not very attentive and was busy with our cell phones. Outside area is more like an Arabian car dealer and messy. The landlord is very nice but too taciturn! Therefore only 4 stars even though the food was really good.

Nice, small restaurant with super friendly staff/owners Unfortunately there was always just something to drink

Durch Empfehlungen haben wir dieses Restaurant besucht, können die positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Die Grillplatte für 2 Personen für €49,90!!!! War mit wenig Fleisch, wovon das Rindfleisch eindeutig nicht mehr verzehrsfähig war. Der verdorbene Geschmack war mit Säure und reichlich Gewürzen überdeckt. Das Hackfleisch war total trocken. Das Geflügel war okay. Die Pommes waren labberig, das hübsche arabische Geschirr lenkt von der schlechten Qualität ab. Der Krautsalat aus Rotkohl war schlicht, nicht weiter erwähnenswert. Ein bisschen Eisbergsalat war nur mit Pfeffer bestreut und ohne Dressing. Als vegetarisches Gericht hatten wir Falafel, die langweilig mit Humus und besagtem roten Krautsalat serviert wurden. Ich kann vom Besuch nur abraten.

Wir haben ein ausgezeichnetes vegetarisches Abendessen typisch arabisch genossen. Es war super lecker, sehr delikat gewürzt und es standen für Vegetarier einige Gerichte zur Auswahl. Aber auch die Gerichte mit Fleisch oder Fisch klangen sehr gut und werden wir sicher noch einmal ausprobieren.

Sind ein wenig enttäuscht. Waren mit 5 Personen dort und das Essen kam leider nur einzeln an den Tisch und war stellenweise nur lauwarm (Fritten). Geschmacklich war es sehr gut. Der Service war stellenweise auch ein wenig schleppend aber freundlich. Preislich war es grade noch angemessen. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und wurden überaus freundlich empfangen. Ein Tisch für drei war kein Problem, eigentlich unverständlich für das was wir dann erleben durften. Grillplatte für 2 Personen bestellt und der Junior Chicken Nuggets mit Pommes, hätte er gar nicht gebraucht - hat mehr bei uns probiert und war genauso begeistert. Reichhaltige Platte mit 4 verschiedenen Fleischsorten, Bulgur, Grillgemüse, Salat und Pommes, super lecker gewürzt. Wir haben draußen unter einem großem Schirm gegessen und fühlten uns wie im Garten Zuhause, auch als ein wenig zu regnen begann saßen wir im Trockenen und mussten nicht nach drinnen umziehen. Zwischendurch wurden wir immer mal wieder gefragt ob wir noch etwas brauchen und ob alles in Ordnung ist. So etwas nenne ich eine gute Bewirtung, hier fühlt man sich wohl. Diese Herzlichkeit und zuvorkommende Art müssen viele andere Gastronomen erst noch lernen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder !!!

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend spontan zu zweit da und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Die Karte war umfangreich und bot eine reiche Auswahl an arabischen Gerichten aber auch ein paar deutschen Klassikern. Bei uns gab es Kebab Spieße vom Lamm und Hähnchen. Es war sehr lecker und die Portionen üppig. Als Getränke gab es Bier und Eistee. Der letzte muss lobend erwähnt werden! Die Terrasse ist nett gestaltet, im Hintergrund läuft die passende Musik und der Service war besonders freundlich. Einziger kleiner Wehrmutstropfen war das fehlen von Kartenzahlungen. Trotzdem kommen wir definitiv wieder!

Den Tipp zum Einkehren bekam ich von Reha Holm Tisch-Gefährten. Ein besonderes Restaurant ! Sehr lecker und total ansprechend angerichtet. Das Lammfleisch besonders zart. Die Gewürze besonders. Ein Aha Erlebnis , wenn der das Essen abdeckende Deckel aufgenommen wird . Gäste vom Nachbartisch schwärmten auch vom Eis . Das nächste Mal werden auch wir es probieren. Wir kommen total gern wieder ! Danke für das oberleckere Essen ! Achtung: z.Zt. keine Kartenzahlung möglich- Bargeld dabei haben !

Die Menschen dort waren sehr nett, mit der optischen Präsentation der Speisen und Getränke hat man sich viel Mühe gegeben. Leider entsprach der Geschmack der Speisen nicht unseren Erwartungen, sie waren scheinbar nicht immer aus frischen Zutaten selbst zubereitet, z.T. wurden Konserven verwendet, die Speisen waren z.T. fad, nicht gut abgeschmeckt. Der Rauchgeschmack des Baba Ganoush war uns viel zu stark.

Das Essen hat geschmeckt und Service war Top! Und sie waren sehr freundlich und nett. Man kann den Wochenende da immer mit freunde und Familie verbringen, empfehle ich!

Heute haben wir das erste Mal im Rosana gegessen und sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Die Qualität des Essens und auch der Service ist wirklich sehr gut und freundlich. Eine Tolle kulinarische Ergänzung zu den Anderen Gastronomen in Holm/ Kalifornien.

Sehr schönes arabisches Restaurant. Das Essen war qualitativ und geschmacklich top, die Preise sin dafür angemessen. Super freundliche Bedienung. Eine echte Empfehlung wert. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Das Essen war schnell da und super lecker. Erst recht der arabische Kaffee war wunderbar. Preis-Leistung stimmt auch.

Ausgezeichnete Küche, sehr lecker, nettes Ambiente, freundliche zuvorkommend Bedienung. Alles passt.

Wir haben bei besten Wetter sehr schön draußen gesessen. Die Bedienung ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Von der reichhaltigen Karte haben wir verschiedene Grillgerichte genossen. Danach kann ich insbesondere den arabischen Kaffee empfehlen. Das Restaurant mit seinem weitläufigen Gelände ist eine Bereicherung für die Region insbesondere für Genießer, die sich auch mal auf arabische Küche einlassen wollen. Von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung.
