The Emessa Lokma Restaurant is an absolute insider tip for Syrian specialties! I tried the Emessa Shawarma plate and Manakish there, and both were just incredibly delicious. The shawarma plate was perfect: tender, spicy meat, fresh side dishes and wonderfully aromatic sauces. The Manakish were also a highlight – freshly baked, with a fluffy dough and a wonderfully spicy topping. You can taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite. Unfortunately, the restaurant is poorly rated. Because the food is very sweet, we ordered mixed grills and a large Arabic shawarma plate. They taste sweet and light, the kibbeh is delicious, and the tabbouleh is international 😋 and the service is full of respect and taste. We will definitely repeat it and repeat it 😉
