I ordered the “Delicious Kaoru box” for 95€ and i can assure you it wasn’t delicious at all. Other than the fact that the food took more than an hour to arrive, the rice tasted old and dry, the fish had a very strange color and no taste to it and all in all everything tasted very old. like it was prepared multiple days ago. It was honestly so bad, and tasted nothing like sushi, that i had to throw the rest away because i was worried i was going to catch a disease. I would’ve paid, at most, 10€ for that entire plate.

I highly recommend it. 1. Cash or PayPal only. But of course, no one will give you a receipt (and there may be problems later). 2. Absolutely random bill. First one price, then another. When trying to check - nothing is clear. They tried to cheat by adding extra orders (+10 euros) to the bill. It didn't work. Therefore, you need to take a receipt, but no one will give you one. 3. Sushi is just awful. They may look normal on the outside, but the rice is like it has been in the refrigerator for ages: cold and dry. 4. The main hall is more or less okay, but the basement is freezing cold. 5. Ask about promotions right away. You can get into trouble, because there seems to be a promotion, but it is no longer there when you order. 6. Arrogant behavior, if you do not speak German. Although I sincerely do not understand how they can judge someone if they themselves are not native speakers of the language. Pure racism.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Darmstadt. Authentic prices, especially for the drinks, short waiting times and great, attentive service are the order of the day here. The 72 is the absolute culinary miracle. Highly recommended!

Service: was ok, quite friendly but sometimes quite slow + slight communication problems Food: Price a bit high for the quality, but that probably has something to do with the location on the main street. Cocktails and appetizers were quite good but quite expensive. Main course were pretty average. A dish that was delivered on a large platter was pretty bad, my girlfriend had enough after one bite. The beef tasted extremely strange, kind of slippery, strange consistency, strong unpleasant smell, sauce wasn't good either. Rice was pretty good Sushi was pretty solid quality. Conclusion: you can go there if necessary (it was only an alternative for us as there wasn't much open on Monday evenings), but I certainly wouldn't go there again. It was simply too expensive for a run-of-the-mill Chinese person.
