So far I've only had good experiences, but I have to adjust my rating due to the way we were treated. We were at GEM on October 19, 2024 with 6 people. The food was great as always. When paying, the bill should be split. It was our turn to pay first. Apparently there was a problem with the terminal and the cash register system when booking. However, Googlepay and the banking app confirmed the payment immediately, which we informed and showed to the operator. However, GEM's cash register system did not record receipt of payment. The employee then insisted that we pay again; the evidence from the banking app and GooglePay were not relevant to her. She then said that the others would pay first and then we would see if anything had happened. After the rest had paid, no booking was still visible in the cash register system. Since she continued to ask us, we paid the outstanding difference, which was lower due to a booking error in one of the other partial invoices, the original amount was €57 then €33. We were told that if the money was debited we would get the money back next week. The following week on October 23rd I stopped by again to inquire about the status as the money for both payments had now been debited from the account. The fault clearly lies with GEM, as the problem arose in their cash register system and the decision based on this to make us pay twice. But I was treated as if we had done something wrong. After I continued to insist on the refund, they said it should be done the next day. Nothing has happened since then! Today on November 16th, 2024 I went to GEM again with the receipts from the table and the receipts from the bank. First they asked for further evidence even though I had all the receipts with me, then I had to wait for a colleague. He then checked the receipts again in the cash register system and then gave me the €57 in cash. Instead of immediately apologizing for the mistake and trying to appease the customer, we were forced into the debt and had to run after our money!!! and it felt like we had to start all over again, even though the behavior of the waitress on October 19th was already incorrect and we only agreed to it because we often ate at GEM and ordered. That's why the fact that we are treated like this is really a shame, disappointing and reflects poorly on GEM.

Went for lunch with 4 people for “all you can eat”. Very nice staff. Very attentive and accommodating. The selection of dishes left nothing to be desired. There was everything from vegetarian to raw tuna. The banana dessert was our favorite. We would go there again or get sushi at any time! THANKS 9/11/24 Edit to the branch in Kaufland. Had Thai curry with tofu and vegetables. Unfortunately, the Thai curry sauce tasted a lot like “bechamel sauce” or “roux” and had the same consistency. Unfortunately NOT GOOD......

It was fine for a few days. Ventilation in the bathroom was very loud. general location is very noisy. Good breakfast, good connections and friendly service.
