Hotel Huss in Limburg a.d.Lahn

The hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked and catered to all tastes. Highly recommended.

We were there for the Christmas market and didn't want to drive the approximately 1.75 hours back; hence the overnight stay. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home. The free parking is invaluable. The location is excellent, about 3 minutes from the pedestrian zone and the old town. You can't hear the main road or the train station. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a city view. The room is functionally furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, while small, was state-of-the-art. The water pressure in the shower could be "a little stronger," but that's really nitpicking. A few coat hooks would be nice. Breakfast was very good. Everything was available, and it was regularly replenished. Excellent value for money. All in all, a lovely hotel. We would gladly stay again.

The location is actually quite good, and the place itself is perfectly fine. Unfortunately, sleeping is impossible. The rooms are unbearably hot, and you can't ventilate them because there's a busy main road right outside the window. Consequently, sleep is out of the question. The rooms facing the street are essentially unrentable.

I can highly recommend this hotel, even for those who decide to book at the last minute. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Although it's located near the train station and we had a room facing the street, it was still very quiet, spacious, and clean – nothing was worn out. The breakfast is also excellent; it had everything you could want and a wide selection. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. All in all, I felt very comfortable, and the price-performance ratio was perfectly fine. I would gladly stay here again.

We spent three days at the Hotel Huss. The staff was always friendly and helpful in all areas. The hotel has been largely renovated, although you can still find elements from the 1980s here and there. The hotel is very centrally located: right next to the train and bus station and surrounded by international businesses and the main thoroughfare. Unfortunately, the surrounding area is quite noisy, which is the hotel's biggest drawback. Since there is no air conditioning, the rooms get very hot. If you have a room facing the front, it's impossible to ventilate. The noise level would be unbearable. That's what happened to us on the first night. We were lucky and were able to change rooms; otherwise, we would have left and spontaneously looked for somewhere else. Thanks again to the friendly lady at the reception. The new room was at the back and was also warm, but at least the window could be opened at night, and you could sleep until about 7 a.m., when the street sweeper and leaf blower started working nearby. However, this is beyond the hotel's control. The room was equipped with a beautifully renovated bathroom and a walk-in shower. The bathroom window also opened, allowing for fresh air. The soundproof windows certainly make the hotel a good choice for the colder months, but we wouldn't book it for the warmer summer months. The city center, the old town, and many attractions are within walking distance, making the location advantageous overall. Overall, the hotel offers good amenities, such as a bike shed and the option to charge batteries, but you should be aware of the noise and heat issues during the summer months.

No air conditioning—unacceptable in the summer. You can't open the window because insects would come in. The bathroom is so narrow that you can barely get past it, as the boiler is right in front of the toilet.

Reasons for not recommending this hotel: Extremely unfriendly and rude reception staff. The room: It's like a sauna; there's no air conditioning (a fan doesn't cool it down). You can't open the window due to the noise and the tons of CO2 blowing into your room. The room itself was clean, but the fan's grill was very dirty. Breakfast: Very basic breakfast; it could be more extensive. Location: Close to the station and the old city center. Conclusion: This hotel is definitely not worth your money.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Huss. Centrally located, the hotel provided a good starting point for our motorcycle tours. The courtyard-facing rooms were especially perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel has its own parking lot, making arrival very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend the Hotel Huss and look forward to my next visit!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was sufficient and the bathroom was very large. The only thing I was missing was hooks for the towels next to the sink. The hotel is next to the train station and the pedestrian zone is not far away either. We were able to reach the cathedral, the castle and the old Lahn bridge within walking distance. There is something for everyone at breakfast. The restaurant next door is highly recommended. You can go directly from the hotel to the restaurant. The hotel has an elevator and free parking.

I was in Limburg for a short trip and the Hotel Huss was perfect for that. The location is ideal, right next to the train station and you can get anywhere quickly. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and provided a good start to the day. The rooms are not super modern, but they are clean and tidy. Absolutely okay for the price. I would book again.

We went on a city tour for one night. Everything great. Hotel very central, less than 5 minutes from the pedestrian zone. Room big enough. Elevator and free parking space available. We had the windows closed and we couldn't hear any street noise or trains. Super friendly staff, very tasty breakfast buffet. You felt welcome.

Sauberes, modernes und gut geführtes Hotel direkt am Bahnhof und am Rande der Altstadt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Insgesamt macht das Hotel einen seriös geführten und bodenständigen Eindruck. Auf jeden Fall wird man hier in Sachen Late-Checkout und Parkplatz nicht abgezockt, wie bei einem Mitbewerber in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Für mich ist das Hotel Huss bei einem Besuch in Limburg die erste Wahl.

im September 2021 da auch im Sep2022 hier wie immer alles ok Hotel Huss Dz super, alles neu, sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel Frühstück ist super und vielseitig , wird immer nachgelegt alle Mittarbeiter sehr freundlich und nett Chefin kümmerte sich um alles super Parkplatz direkt am Hotel und überwacht mit Aufzug top

Sehr schöne moderne Zimmer und die Lage ist Top da mitten in der Stadt. Das Personal ist sehr nett, besonders Frau Rüger ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer für einen da.
