I have known Franco since 2008, when he opened the small bistro. Then as now, the best price-performance ratio in downtown Hamburg. Probably even beyond that. I worked in downtown Hamburg from 2008 to 2016 and ate there regularly. After that I moved to London and I haven't found an honest plate of pasta like Franco's there in 3 years. Then I worked in Hamburg again and Franco's pasta was still just as good. I've been working in Frankfurt for a year now and there isn't a bistro like that there either. I've been coming here for over 14 years. I've aged now, but Franco's pasta hasn't. 😊 Insider tip, pasta with goulash or pasta agli e olio with scampi 🥹 I wish everyone who has read this to the end bon appetit And I wish my friend Franco and his team many more good years. ❤️

Four of us went here for dinner. The service was excellent as was the food. The ambience is very nice in the Hotel Eggers. Will definitely come back

The worst service ever experienced in Hamburg. Food was not too bad (after correcting wrong orders delivered). Body language by waitress was not inviting to any nice atmosphere nor showing any interest in our experience in the restaurant. On the positive side, the food was tasty.
