The restaurant can only be recommended to a limited extent, we were there on a Wednesday evening. It was quite crowded, then only one waitress and the chef. We then waited almost 1.5 hours for the food. But that was surprisingly good. Unfortunately there wasn't even a small apology for the long waiting time

Way too expensive!! The three of us were there for dinner on March 7th. We had 2x large rump steak/sirloin (300g each), 1x small rump steak/New York strip (180g), and 1x extra sweet potato fries. The meat was ordered medium and it was almost done (almost semi-well-done). It tasted good, there's nothing to explain, but 35.50 euros for 300 gr. rump steak, 29.90 euros for 180 gr. rump steak, all dishes completely missed the cooking level, well... That's far too much money for far too little performance for me. For your information: Fortunately, we don't go hungry and enjoy eating out every now and then, but ~120 euros for meat that is mediocre at best is far too expensive. Fortunately, the raw material is extremely good, so even major mistakes don't matter that much. By the way: 6 euros for the sweet potato fries (quantity: about a large coffee cup) is already steep, especially when prepared in the deep fryer. The salad was also very economical and the pesto on garlic bread (i.e. the pesto quickly smeared on a piece of bread, without garlic, non-existent in this regard) left a lot to be desired. It's also not clear to me how the prices are made. In the local wholesale market you can get a kilo of Argentine fillet for around 30 euros (gross), and that's incredibly good. With the same quantity, that would be a raw material price of 23.40 euros for fillet! ... no rump steak or rump steak. The modifications may still have to be paid for. Further training for the chefs and a little more passion for their own craft would also be advisable. We definitely won't be coming back.

The two of us quite often go to the Mendoza Steakhouse on Thursdays. So far we have always been able to get a place without a reservation, even in the run-up to Christmas. The food has always been fantastic, whether it's a starter or a main course. 👍🏼 There are also kangaroo, ostrich and crocodile to eat - individually or as a mixed plate. So far, the same service employee has always served us - super friendly, courteous and very attentive. We like him very much. In the warmer seasons you can sit comfortably outside on a terrace. Parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant. We always enjoy coming to Mendoza. Best regards The Himmis
