The host was very friendly and the service was excellent. We were offered a complimentary ouzo before dinner. The salad is included as a starter at the buffet. The main courses were very good, especially the meat, which was tender and delicious. We'll be back!

The food is really good. The service is sometimes quite hectic, as one waiter isn't enough for a full restaurant. Therefore, it's not possible to order more than one drink. Unfortunately, one dish was brought to the wrong table. The dining room has been renovated and is now brighter and more inviting.

The food is generally great, but the salad bar could use more attractive vegetables, e.g. E.g. no canned corn and pitted olives.

We were guests on October 24th at 6 p.m. as the darts team "Green Signal 2" and had a truly wonderful evening! The atmosphere is super pleasant – you immediately feel at home – and the food was simply excellent, highly recommended. A very special compliment goes to our waiter: He was on the ball, friendly, funny, and always on top of things. You rarely experience service like that – really great! We'd definitely love to come back! 🎯🍽️

The trip for lunch on Saturday was definitely worth it. The food isn't just good. You have the option to put together your own salad from the buffet, which is included in the price. Toasted bread with dip is also served with every meal. And if you still have a little room after your meal, you can enjoy the free dessert. I didn't have time for that. The service is very friendly and attentive. Guests are made aware of everything important. We also now know that the weekly specials are available for lunch from Monday to Friday. Then the prices drop to around €13 to €15 with the same ingredients. We will definitely eat our way through the menu.

A very strange experience. We dined here on a Friday night. We arrived quite late, at 9 p.m., and the restaurant was completely empty and deserted. Which we find odd on a Friday night. The interior is a ludicrous mix of Mexican or Argentinian influences, resembling a carnival ride rather than a restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful, but they seemed rather unsure, as if they were doing this for the first time. The food was okay, but that's about it. My wife had lamb in a cream sauce. The meat was literally swimming in the cream sauce, and the "cream sauce" was clearly thickened with rice flour. The sauce tasted more like rice than cream. The salad bar where she could get her greens was well-prepared but rather limited in selection. I had a steak. It was cooked well and not tough, but it was more like a thin, short steak than a nice, thick, juicy piece of meat. For the price I paid, I was rather disappointed with the quality. We ordered "Sponge Bob's chicken nuggets" for the children. So, these were just regular chicken nuggets on a regular plate, and we have no idea why they added the name "SpongeBob." If they had included a SpongeBob coloring sheet or served it on a plate with a picture of SpongeBob, we might have understood. But there was absolutely no connection to that cartoon character. The kids enjoyed it, and that was enough for us.

I'm from the Erzgebirge region in Magdeburg for two days and deliberately chose this restaurant because there's nothing like it here. The waiter, the Greek, was top-notch, superb service, friendly, attentive, just as you'd expect. Next time I'm in town, I'll be happy to come back here and recommend it to my friends and business associates. I'm visiting here and this place was recommended to me. It was delicious, and the service was excellent. The ambiance is fantastic in these warm temperatures, as we were able to sit outside in the shade. So, for me, it was a 10/10.

I can't really complain. Except for the fact that there was absolutely nothing going on, the stay was quite nice. I had one of the exotic mixed platters with ostrich, kangaroo, and crocodile. It was really tasty, but it was too spicy for my liking. I bit into the peppercorns quite often.

Hello...We had reserved a table for two people especially for our wedding anniversary, along with a rose as a surprise. This was confirmed to us by email...as if everything was possible! But when we arrived, there was no sign of a special table. We were supposed to choose a table outside! That was the short sentence from the waiter, who took some getting used to, wearing flip-flops!! The food was super quick and incredibly delicious... We quickly added up the price based on the menu... There was no bill, just a total, and it was suddenly higher than we had expected... It was supposed to be a special day, so I paid the amount... But I won't be visiting this restaurant again...

They don't stick to the prices listed on the buffet's online menu, demand more money, and even general agreements weren't actually carried out even though they gave the green light. Unfortunately, not recommended for buffets!

I come here and love steaks, my girlfriend is a vegetarian. We both loved the way the food is seasoned, whether it's salad, fries, or meat. My father would have felt at home here too; he was a livestock dealer and meat specialist, and therefore very critical. 5 stars for the food, 4 for the outdoor setting.

In addition to the classic Argentinian rump, rump, and fillet steaks, they also offer ostrich, kangaroo, and crocodile. These, by the way, are also excellently prepared and by far the best I've had here so far. The price is absolutely reasonable. The service is sometimes a bit slow, for example, when the place is full and the staff is thin. Fortunately, this doesn't affect the consistently delicious food. We ate there not too long ago. It wasn't full, maybe two other tables were occupied, and we still had to wait an hour to an hour and a half for our food. Unfortunately, we weren't really full, but we didn't want to wait that long again. The waiter who served us seemed very overwhelmed. I understand that it's hard to remember all the prices for your dishes. But flicking his fingers across the table next to his ear to ask for the menu was a bit much. He hadn't said what he wanted. We would have understood, but not like that. When we asked for the bill, we mentioned that it needed to be a bit quicker because we had something else planned afterward and time was running out (no one had expected it to take so long). We realize that this won't happen immediately, but walking through the entire store with the bill in hand, carrying other people's dirty plates back to the kitchen, and then doing the exact same thing halfway through... I don't know. It wasn't the best experience.

We would particularly like to highlight the successful combination of South American spice and Asian lightness – an exciting culinary journey that will leave you wanting more. A huge compliment to the entire team at La Gaucho – both the food and service made this evening a true highlight. We'd love to come back! Although there were many guests there, we felt warmly welcome from the first moment. A quick look from the host and we were able to choose a spot that suited us. When the food was served we were assured that the food was as ordered - gluten free. The food and prices are really good, the service is very attentive and friendly. Thank you for the lovely evening. A very small tip: Renew the menu in the display case at the entrance to the parking lot. That almost stopped us from going in. That would have been a real shame.

Today, May 7th, 2024, I ate here for the first time with my husband on the recommendation of the Mercure Hotel. We were positively surprised by the good service and the good food. Salad to put together yourself from the buffet - as desired with the spices provided and the dressing as a topping. Cocktails are freshly prepared. Of course there is good tap beer available. The service is very accommodating. Simply a well-rounded affair and a successful evening. Highly recommended and we would love to come back. Separate room for events, terrace and offer party service. Full marks!

I have been a guest at El Gaucho for many years. Nothing has changed to this day, the quality of the food is excellent and the current one is more than justified. Not to mention the service, the boss is still just warm, nice and accommodating. Always my pleasure.

Food extremely salty, especially fries, not edible. In addition, the prices posted at the entrance are misleading. What (No.88) was signposted for €16.90 cost €22.90 inside, i.e. 35% more expensive. When I pointed out the error, they conveniently explained that the sign at the entrance was outdated and charged the higher price. Pure fraud. So never again.
