Friendly staff, food was delicious

The taste of the food was okay. Steak wasn't medium rare, lots of ready-made products like the potato rosettes or the tzatziki. Baked banana was not in batter but breaded with a lettuce leaf as decoration. However, the Ipanema and Coconut Beach drinks were delicious. Service wasn't that great. You felt like you were on an assembly line and there were also long waiting times. Everything is a bit half-hearted. We got too many mango lassi. 2 per person. Of course I said this when I paid, he was then very friendly and apologized and asked me not to give a bad review. This review is not bad but honest. We weren't quite as satisfied. Maybe it will be better another time :)

It was very nice again. The very friendly service is particularly noteworthy. The food is varied and very tasty. There is something for all tastes.

Emanuel is the superstar, incredibly attentive, friendly and always ready for a joke. Also compliments to the kitchen, everyone was happy. The menu has something for everyone. In summary: 5 stars

We had lunch. I wanted to taste the specialties. Was excited. Unfortunately I only found the meat on the plate after searching. Reason: There was so much sauce on the plate with a high edge that you couldn't see the meat. It was literally drowned in this lake of sauce. Even after fishing out of the sauce lake, you couldn't see, let alone taste, what kind of meat it was. What was crocodile, kangaroo, ostrich? It was all just gravy. Conclusion: not recommended.

An all-round successful evening! My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful evening in this restaurant today. The food was not only delicious but also plentiful. We started with a tasty soup, followed by a salad from the buffet (one was enough for us as there were so many delicious things waiting for us). The highlight was the huge meat platter, which was cooked to perfection. The crowning finale was a delicious dessert in a glass. We were particularly impressed by the owner's hospitality. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and always tried to make us feel comfortable. As a nice gesture, there were even several ouzos - a great rounding off of the experience. The fresh bread with the delicious dips was also a pleasure. After this fantastic 4-course meal, we were not only full, but also completely satisfied. A real feel-good restaurant that we can recommend without reservation!

I went to Al Gaucho for the first time with my boyfriend last night. We made a reservation, had no problems despite the slight delay and were immediately warmly welcomed. The waiter was really attentive, friendly and personable, which is very important for me to feel comfortable. The meal (+drinks) didn't take long and tasted good. You really can't complain about the price/performance ratio. We'll be back!😊

On Sunday, January 5th, the three of us spontaneously ate at your place and were extremely positively surprised. First of all, many thanks to the good man who served us, I can't even use the word "waiter", it was more of a professional one Butler, invisible but always present, the outerwear was accepted upon entry, as well as umbrellas, and the menu was explained very well. Let's get to the food itself, salmon, crocodile, ostrich, kangaroo and beef fillet were great in terms of quality, everyone had something different, only I had the mixed pan and the saffron sauce was really brilliant. Prices, it's best not to say anything, but 250 g of beef fillet for just under 20 euros... that can't be topped. As promised, we'll be back 👍☺️👌

Very nice waiters, The exotic meats are fried to perfection and portioned in large portions! It tasted very good, very family feeling. We were welcomed with ouzo and said farewell with lollipops! We'll be back!!!

What else can you say? Absolutely perfect, great that restaurants like this still exist! You receive a friendly welcome, the atmosphere is inviting and immediately puts you in a good mood. The menu is very diverse and all main courses include a salad bar. Everything there is fresh and tasty with a good selection of dressings and spice mixes. At the start there is also an ouzo. The selection of drinks is also extensive and of solid quality, especially the wines. The meat in the main courses is of high quality and grilled to perfection. Afterwards there is another ouzo and a fresh mango lassi. All in all, an absolutely successful evening with great service. No wonder that the Gaucho has been delighting guests in Magdeburg since 2002! Top!

The older gentleman who waited tables was great. The food was half the size of the last time I was there and €7 more expensive. The quality was still there.

Very nice service, price, performance top, there were free small tasty appetizers before and after the main course. The food was very tasty and plentiful. You can help yourself to each main course at the salad buffet. Gladly again at any time.

Despite all the circumstances of yesterday, we received a very warm welcome here. The waiter was so wonderful and made us feel so comfortable. We enjoyed spending our Christmas dinner here! For 4 people we paid a total of €126 including food, all drinks and starters. We felt very comfortable here and can only recommend a visit here to everyone, we have never been welcomed so warmly. We wish the restaurant a merry Christmas, hope you will be open for a long time and will always be happy to welcome us!❤️

Despite the adverse circumstances, we went to dinner with the family here in Magdeburg today. The food was excellent and the service was second to none. Attentive and always very accommodating. Reservations can be made relatively spontaneously, even with a table of 10. Cocktails are outstanding. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food. All in all, including the friendly staff, nothing to complain about. Can only recommend it

Decent restaurant, staff was good, ambience OK, prices are OK. The food was on point and is definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, the prices on the website are no longer correct at all. Need to be revised. My dish was missing 2 sauces. Even after a reminder they were not delivered. The food could have been hotter. I won't come back. So bread and 2 dips were not free. I understand that the prices are getting more expensive then they should still be up to date on the website.

We had a very nice evening at Al Gaucho today. The service was A1! Before the meal there was bread with very tasty dips. I'm now lying on the couch happy and slightly tipsy.

We've eaten at Al Gaucho a few times now. And we are always very satisfied with the food and service. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth. The portions are very generous and the price-performance ratio is always right. I can only recommend the restaurant.

I was served immediately. The food and drinks were excellent. Every request has been catered for. And when I ordered, a waiting time of 30-45 minutes for the main course was absolutely reasonable. This time was absolutely sweetened for me with free schnapps and the salad bar and the main course was great. This restaurant is not cheap, but the price is more than reasonable for what is on offer. Because I almost forgot to write that there was dessert on the house. It may not always be the case, but I haven't been treated so well in a long time. Over and over again.

So it was very good, they were friendly too... But we had to wait 1.5 hours for the food...

Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The composition of the dishes is unusual, but that makes it all the more interesting. From schnitzel to exotic stories like crocodile steak, there is something for every taste.

For a steakhouse the steak was sad. Not again. But the service... top.

Dear visitors to the city of Magdeburg, This establishment is a pleasant place to grab a bite to eat. Food number 101 and 97 are recommended. However, when ordering, you should definitely check the food you ordered 2-3 times to make sure it is the right one. Unfortunately we were served something wrong. We like to go to a steakhouse and chose 'Al Gaucho'. We were there half an hour before reserving a table, which was no problem at all. The service was extremely friendly and quick. The menu was briefly explained, and you can choose a salad from the buffet as a starter. Bread and two dips are served to the table. Our main courses were a mix of different types of meat (beef, chicken, pork) with fries or gaucho potatoes (more like duchess potatoes). Everything was very tasty, very tasty and rich. The atmosphere is quite nice so far.
