Yes, this restaurant is rustic, and yes, it may not appeal to everyone, but this steakhouse is something of a historic gem in Gütersloh. For over 35 years, they've been serving the locals with the finest cuisine. The steaks are top-notch, and the service is first-class. I can understand why they don't want to tear anything down, as it adds a certain charm to the restaurant and its history. We always enjoy coming here!

Good food in a relaxed atmosphere

Unfortunately completely unacceptable for the price category. With a small, focused menu in this price range, I expect the necessary ingredients to be in stock. I found it disappointing that 1/3 of the signature dishes were not available. If several side dishes (e.g. sweet potato fries, champions, etc.) cannot be offered - even though there are only three tables occupied in the entire store - that is incomprehensible to me. Sorry, but with a steak for 50+€ I expect more - for example that it is not served on a cold plate. And if the entire table sticks (i.e. is simply dirty), that simply doesn't fit the needs of the house. I won't even talk about the toilet - your mileage may vary. We ate on site and shared our feedback directly. For me it was the first and last visit.
