The ESV can be recommended without reservation. The lunch menus impress with their inexpensive and varied offerings. The ambience is classic, but offers a pleasant environment. In summer it is also possible to dine outside.

Anyone who likes to smoke or who doesn't mind being in a smoking bar will love this place. The atmosphere is a typical Berlin bar with the added bonus of being able to watch football here. Food isn't sold here, but you can eat your kebab (or other food) nearby as long as you stay and order a drink or drinks. The staff are attentive and very service-oriented. The atmosphere is always good and you feel comfortable. A typical Berlin bar. Simply great.

Today we were in a small group for a short detour to the Hope restaurant - and it was an all-round successful experience. As soon as we entered we noticed the warm hospitality. The atmosphere was inviting, cozy and perfect for relaxing. The innkeeper served us excellently. With his open, humorous manner, he immediately created a relaxed atmosphere and we immediately felt at home. He even agreed to have an ouzo with us - a great gesture that reflects the family atmosphere of the house. He also provided us with valuable travel tips for Greece ;-). The ambience of the restaurant was just as convincing: stylish, warm and designed with great attention to detail. We felt completely at home here and are already looking forward to our next visit. The food is okay, the beer is delicious. The waiters are friendly. The place is very busy on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a good place to watch football.

Inadequate treatment of the workers, they literally kicked us out of the premises just by entering for the simple fact of being from Spain, indicating that it was full even though there were tables and the waitress shouting at us in German only upon entering, totally inadvisable
