The guy didn't speak any German, had to wait about 20 minutes to place the order (there were three! people there before me) and in the end I didn't even get anything good, or I specifically said without meat and still got it. People with allergies (or vegetarians) should definitely avoid this restaurant.
It's not worth it otherwise.
I've been eating there once or twice a year for years and have always been satisfied. Yesterday I was there and ordered a sheep's cheese plate and I got cubes of cow's milk cheese, which I don't like at all. My objections were ignored until they said that, yes, according to the kitchen, they were actually cow's milk cubes. This is actually a complete scam. The two guys who served yesterday couldn't even remember four drinks and were a bit confused. I was there with four friends and didn't want to spoil the evening, otherwise I would have refused to pay. Especially since the cow's milk cubes were sitting on iceberg lettuce leaves that hadn't even been dressed. I didn't get any oil or vinegar despite asking twice. I wasn't offered any apology and not even received an apology. A real shame. I hope it doesn't stay this way.
The taste is good and the portion is large. This price/quality is not available in the surrounding areas of France now. I want to come here every time I eat in Dam
I'm not sure if the employee is new, but I don't want to meet the lady again. At first she didn't accept a five-euro note because a small corner was missing. When I brought in my tray with the espresso cup and the empty ice cream cup, she handed me the empty ice cream cup so that I should throw it in the trash can myself. The officials live in the ice cream parlor. Before these educational measures come, it is better to think about doing without disposable containers. Good luck
It was always pretty good but has been declining for the last month. I ordered a kebab box and they only gave me fries with a forkful of meat. I thought maybe it was just a bad day but it happened twice in a row. So I got a kebab yesterday with special requests (no tomatoes or coleslaw etc) because I'm allergic to them. He put the things in by mistake but said he had taken everything out so there's nothing left. When I unpacked it at home half the kebab was full of them so I had to throw it away. Also since then they only use meat that has been cut up and kept in a box for hours, which means it's not fresh anymore. It's a shame they've gone down the drain because the kebab itself is delicious!
