This Saturday, I went to Sljiva with some friends. The atmosphere was good, especially thanks to the live music—it was definitely the highlight of the night. The service was decent, though a bit slow, likely due to understaffing. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the food. I ordered a Karadordeva Schnitzel, but what I received looked and tasted like something from a canteen—bland, overly salty, and completely underwhelming. The presentation was equally disappointing: a small portion of potatoes, a dollop of mayo, and a few pieces of pickled cucumber on the side. It honestly took me back to my student days, but not in a good way. For the price, I expected much better. My meal alone was €18, and with two glasses of wine, my bill came to €34—far too expensive for the quality offered.

For me it's been the best Croatian place for years, it's a shame that it's currently closed. Portions are always good. Prices have been raised a bit but everything is still acceptable. Service is always friendly
