Das Tropical Café überzeugt mit einem tollen Ambiente, nettem Personal und einer zentralen Lage direkt auf der Einkaufsstraße „Marktstraße“. Es handelt sich um einen Familienbetrieb, der seit über einem Jahr erfolgreich besteht. Wir haben das Café zur Mittagszeit besucht. Meine Frau wählte den Chicken-Salat, und ich habe die orientalischen Wraps probiert. Beide Gerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet. Als kleine Nachspeise gönnten wir uns Kuchen, begleitet von einem sehr leckeren Kaffee. Unser Fazit: Verdiente 5 von 5 Sternen! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Essen war Top. Burger empfehlenswert. Da isse die jute Bewertung die auch gerechtfertigt ist.

I come from the city of Essen and took a tour of the canal. When I got hungry, I headed for this pizzeria... The name made me curious. The food was really very good and fresh. I was even offered a dip with my pizza👍 Very good and nice service. Drinks happened to be put in the fridge and the nice gentleman who put them in cleaned all the bottles before putting them in 🤙 You really only see that very, very rarely. All in all, short and sweet...😁 Absolutely recommended and I will take a break there on the next tour. Card payment is possible Googlepay etc. Modern payment options are available. Absolutely great 🤙💯

Very, very good Italian cuisine. We'd love to come back. Our journey is 26 km and we are happy to accept that

Yesterday I went to Ristorante Rossati with my wife (without children!!) for the first time. You definitely succeeded in cutting off the Rossini cord. We were warmly welcomed in the entrance area. Based on the waiter's recommendation, the wine (Primitivo di Manduria) was exactly the right one for that evening. The kitchen beautifully presented the “Lupo di mare” and the “rabbit fillet with balsamic vinegar in red wine sauce” (true to the motto: the eye eats too!). For dessert we had zabaione and tartufo. Both also very tasty. We can more than recommend this restaurant. There is a small star deduction for the ambience: the adjacent football field didn't bother me, but my wife did. And the seating took some of the charm out of the otherwise wonderfully furnished restaurant. Otherwise it was a great evening and definitely not the last one there!

I ordered a Black Forest cherry cup: the portion was generous and the ice cream was delicious.

A typical Italian from the 70s/80s.....unfortunately you can only find it very rarely anymore.....the food was solid with rather reasonable prices....hospitality is very important here.....super boss, incredibly attentive....simply great....at the end there was a delicious Marsala on the house.....thank you for this nice evening

Wir waren vor dem Konzert von Joe Bonamassa in der Rudolf Weber Arena am 29.04.25 schnell noch in der Stadt und haben das italienische Restaurant "La Maddalena" ausgewählt. Das Essen wollten wir möglichst schnell bekommen, da es anschließend sofort ins Konzert ging. Nur 1 Kellner war zu sehen, doch das Restaurant "brummte" zu der Zeit. Auf unsere Frage, ob wir innerhalb 1 Stunde Essen können, sagte Christian (der Name des jungen Mannes) tiefenentspannt ja und brachte uns die Karte. Ansonsten rannte er vom Tresen und von Tisch zu Tisch mit Essen und Getränken und zurück. Allein bei der Auslastung des Restaurants zwischen 18-19:30 Uhr zu war das eine sehr schwierige Aufgabe für nur einen Kellner. Wir wählten und innerhalb der Stunde gab es das vorzügliche bei auch noch unterschiedlicher Essenswahl. Nur das Dessert brachte den Zeitplan vollkommen durcheinander. So ging's zu spät um 19:30 Uhr zum Konzert und beim ersten Song kaperten wir unsere Plätze. Interessantes Restaurant, mit einem Top Essen und Freundlichkeit pur und mit Lust aufs Wiederkommen!
