Ich bin immer wieder begeistert, perfekte Location für ein Essen mit Familie oder Freunden. Das Essen ist hervorragend, frische Zutaten, raffiniert zubereitet, einfach lecker. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, es passt einfach alles. Schon jetzt freue ich mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch...

… ist ein Sarde. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt in der Fußgängerzone der Innenstadt. Wir sind erst vorbeigelaufen, wurden dann an der Tür sehr freundlich mit Namen begrüßt. Überhaupt war die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Das Interieur ist schlicht und modern, die Küche offen. Dadurch fühlt man sich wie in einer Cantina und es ist etwas laut, weniger romantisch. Die Karte ist überschaubar (was gut ist) und alle Gerichte klingen sehr ansprechend. Klassische Gerichte gibt es eher wenige (Panzanella, Carbonara, Malloreddus), dafür aber viele kreative Kombinationen, die ich nicht erwartet hätte, z.B. Thunfischsteak mit Mango, Ingwer und Yuzu. Wir hatten als Antipasto eine Frittura mista und Oliven. Dazu gab‘s Brot und als Gruß aus der Küche eine sehr leckere Trüffelbutter. Danach hatten wir besagten Thunfisch (auf den Punkt scharf angebraten, innen roh und von bester Qualität, so wie man es erwarten darf). Die Mango allerdings war leider nicht so aromatisch. Und Schwertfisch vom Grill mit AOP. Pasta al dente. AOP als Beilage finde ich genial! Der Schwertfisch war etwas zu durch für meinen Geschmack, aber nichtsdestoweniger waren beide Gerichte sehr schmackhaft. Am Ende waren wir sehr satt und hatten leider keinen Platz mehr für einen Nachtisch. Ich würde die Portionen eher kleiner bemessen, damit man einen Primo und Secondo nehmen kann, oder ein Degustationsmenü anbieten. Überhaupt klingt die Karte so gut, dass wir auf jeden Fall mehr als einmal dort essen werden, um alles zu probieren. Die Küche würde ich sagen ist gehoben, die Preise ebenso. Wir haben für Aperitif, Wasser, Antipasti und Secondi + Cafè 115€ bezahlt. Wein haben wir nicht getrunken. Über 20€ für eine Carbonara habe ich mich etwas gewundert, Preise um 30€ für guten Fisch finde ich aber angemessen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Good food in an urban atmosphere The La Maddalena restaurant in Oberhausen impresses with its high-quality cuisine. The dishes were tasteful and freshly prepared. The menu offers, among other things, a large selection of fish dishes. I would like to mention the lamb as an example, it couldn't have been prepared better - tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is urban and modern. The furnishings create a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger. Overall the environment was very pleasant. The service was attentive and friendly, and our requests were quickly addressed. We can fully recommend La Maddalena and will definitely come back!

The ambience of this restaurant is outstanding for Oberhausen. Its nicley designed and one can think you are somewhere else. The service was friendly and polite. We had to wait a long time for our food despite the restaurant beeing almost empty. There are only very limited vegetarian dishes and those where overprized and all the food was on the higher end which is fine if it is reflected in the qualitity and creativity of the dishes. This I could not detect in any of the dishes unfortunately.

I have rarely eaten as well as I did in this restaurant! The salmon was simply fantastic. My companion had the sea bass and was also really impressed. The dishes were a real highlight not only in terms of taste, but also visually. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, you immediately feel at home. A real insider tip for all fish lovers! We'll definitely be back!

The quality of the food was okay, but very clear. An exception is the dessert mousse chocolate, it was generous. The menu is very fish-heavy, with hardly any meat dishes. Furthermore, the location is recommended for those who want to maintain their weight and not gain weight. In addition, the price-performance ratio is not right, the prices are overpriced. The food tastes really great and is prepared with great attention to detail. The salad, the spaghetti carbonara, the sea bream are my absolute favorites, not forgetting the tartufo limoncello. Let Gian Luca pamper you! We really enjoy eating there. The outdoor area is really nice.

The ambience in the location matches the Italian charm. The staff is very nice and accommodating, especially the singing waitress. The food blew us away; despite being slightly spicy, it was incredibly tasty with lots of fresh ingredients. The only drawback is that you only get the drinks menu upon request. Very nice atmosphere and the food was really delicious! I had the vegan dish and could only recommend it to everyone. The dishes change every month, so there is always variety here :) The prices are very fair considering the quality of the food. Everyone, the entire staff and also the boss, are very accommodating, friendly and you always feel warmly welcome. It was definitely not the last time we were guests!

I had the pleasure of dining at La Madalena Restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The fried prawns were a real treat - perfectly crispy and juicy, with a lovely seasoning that really brought out the natural flavor of the prawns. To top it all off, I enjoyed the pistachio ice cream, which was exceptional in both consistency and taste. The creamy texture and intense pistachio flavor made every spoonful a little piece of heaven. La Madalena not only offers great food, but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere that completes the entire experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

I've been there three times now and won't be back. The food is top class, no question. But the staff has been reduced significantly. They all move, but completely uncoordinated. Empty dishes are not taken away, drinks are forgotten and the restaurant is very noisy. Not to mention the completely exorbitant wine prices. It's actually a shame, because as I said, the food is great!

Just wow. Really a great restaurant with great food. The menu is small and always changing because all ingredients are always purchased fresh. We were there on a Sunday and 2 dishes were out. We didn't find it bad at all that it confirmed that the ingredients were purchased fresh. Since the dish we wanted was no longer available, we got a round of drinks on the house. The chef was personally at our table. You could taste the quality and the portions were very large. We only managed the starter and main course. The waiters were courteous, open and we felt very comfortable as guests. We would be happy to come back and recommend the restaurant!

The greeting from the kitchen wasn't bread with truffle butter, but with cream cheese. The shrimp with olives and sheep's cheese were a poem. The sea bream came as a fillet and was tasty but a bit too fatty. All in all, a successful, delicious evening with extremely attentive service

My colleague and I didn't know what to expect. We chose La Maddalena instead of the usual pizza without reading any reviews first. We walked past first because it was so dark in the front part. We thought it was closed. Fortunately, we ended up testing the door. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. The ambience with an open kitchen was interesting. As a starter we had the fish soup and the prawns. The portions were very large and both tasted excellent. This prompted us to guide four other colleagues who had just arrived in Oberhausen to the restaurant. For the main course we chose sea bream and monkfish. These dishes were also extremely tasty. The service was always there for us during the visit, humorous and courteous. At the end the boss gave us a very friendly farewell. The food is not cheap, but the prices are quite reasonable for the quality. We will be happy to come back.

The three of us were at LaMaddalena today and were absolutely thrilled. From the service to the food, it was an all-round great evening! Both the starters and the main courses were really perfectly prepared and we don't have a single criticism to mention. The food is great, that's why you go there. I think the prices, which seem too high for others, are justified. I found a glass of wine (pinot grigio) for 10€ to be a bit too much. The ambience is so, so. What I really liked was the piano player, although I don't know if that's always the case. Cloth napkins very good. What I also didn't like was the bread, which unfortunately tasted like it had been made the day before. When asked they said it wasn't standard and bread was normally baked. I also really liked the small but very unusual card, you couldn't decide. Unfortunately the tiramisu wasn't available, which was a shame. The location is rather suboptimal, parking spaces are available in the nearby former Kaufhof (now hotel). Unfortunately, what I didn't like at all was the cold in the restaurant, so put on a sweater or wait until summer. But I will visit it again because of the food.

The food is already very good that only one can admit. That's it, a small, very manageable menu. If you're looking for something like a good pizza from an Italian restaurant or a vegetarian selection fails. The shop is located right in the city near the betting booth and kiosk. Parking in front of the house not possible. In return you get a very tasty fish dish with 2 small potatoes for €32 and a portion of pasta for €16. If you're on a diet but want to eat very tasty food for a lot of money, this is the place for you.

The food deserves 5 stars. The boss is creative, the ingredients are of high quality and the execution is excellent. The slightly higher price of the food is absolutely justified and the kitchen is definitely worth a visit. However, that doesn't fit with everything else. We were freezing all evening, the place was very loud, the service was friendly but not really competent and the wines were very overpriced. It's a real shame because we would like to go there more often because of the great cuisine.

We came to have dinner here after a trade fair. The chef is a professional who is proud of his Sardinian roots and you can taste that in his dishes. His team is informal but professional. In short, eating at La Maddalena is highly recommended.

Were there for Valentine's Day. No a la carte selection possible, only a three-course menu without bread and Amuse Geul for 70€pp, but with live music and an artist. Wine for 10€ for 0.15l. It's all quite sporty in downtown Oberhausen... I think the owners have to work significantly on the price/performance ratio for their customers.

Eher zufällig sind wir am frühen Abend nach einem Geschäftstermin im Madalena eingekehrt... Was für ein Erlebnis! Phantastische Küche, herausragende Qualität der Zutaten, raffiniert gewürzt, eine Geschmacksexplosion.. Danke Gianluca👏 einen Könner erkennt man bereits an den "einfachen" Gerichten wie der perfekten Parmigiana oder den Linguine mit Vongole. Selbst im Mousse au Chocolat schmeckte man die belgische Schokolade und liebevolle Herstellung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, die Bedienung ist sympathisch und aufmerksam, die jazzige Hintergrundmusik passt perfekt - ich kann nur empfehlen: Nichts wie hin! Ich freue mich schon die anderen Gerichte auszuprobieren.

Zum ersten mal hier gewesen, im Dunkeln und von außen wirkte es recht unscheinbar. Mein Freund, der nachgekommen ist, ist wohl erstmal dran vorbeigelaufen... Innen ist es aber sehr nett, wir hatten zu dritt einen schönen großen Tisch und der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war absolut fantastisch und ist definitiv ein Grund, wieder zu kommen und die anderen Leckereien von der Karte zu probieren.

Als ik dit restaurant 6 sterren kon geven zou ik dat doen want het eten was heerlijk en het personeel was heel erg klantvriendelijk zelfs de chef ging langs de tafels om de bestellingen te horen en gerechten aan te raden. Als voorgerecht hadden we octopus met aubergine en een seafood mix met gefrituurde scampi en garnalen. Als hoofdgerecht hadden we lamsfilet en bief bovenop zelfgemaakte pasta met zwarte truffel. En het tweede hoofdgerecht was een heerlijke zeeduivel. Zeker een restaurant die het waard is om te bezoeken.

Hatten einen grandiosen Abend mit großartigem Essen und einem sehr herzlichen Service. Küche mit großem Potential. Die Produkte sind sehr hochwertig und frisch. Der Oktopus als Vorspeise einfach genial. Der Seeteufel war einer der besten Gänge die ich je essen durfte. Schöne Weinauswahl.

Sehr freundlicher Service und leckeres, schmackhaftes Essen. Das Ambiente ist ok, aber bereits ein wenig renovierungsbedürftig. Ich war das erste Mal dort, aber bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im La Maddalena essen. Als Hauptgang hatten wir Spaghetti Carbonara - selbst gemacht sehr lecker, sehr zu empfehlen. Dazu hatten wir eine Flasche Grauburgunder bestellt, bekommen haben wir 2 Gläser Pinot Grigio. Auf Nachfrage haben wir dann eine Flasche, ebenfalls Pinot Grigio, erhalten - auch lecker, daher in Ordnung So weit so gut! 3 Sterne gibt es allerdings deswegen, weil das preislich eine Frechheit war. Essen 13€ pro Gericht (Mittagstisch) top! Die zwei Gläser Pinot, die nicht bestellt waren, jeweils mit 10€ abgerechnet - teuer aber okay! Dann aber die Flasche Pinot, die wir so auch nicht bestellt haben, für sage und schreibe 50€!!!! Das heißt für haben wir 2 Gläser und eine Flasche, von einem Wein den wir eigentlich nicht bestellt haben, 70€ bezahlt - mehr als frech! Alle anderen Flaschen, beispielsweise Grauburgunder, den wir eigentlich bestellt hatten, kosten 30€ oder der leckere und relativ teure Ca dei Frati für 40€. Und für einen verhältnismäßig uninteressanten Pinot Grigio 50€ zu kassieren + 20€ für zwei Gläser, die nicht bestellt waren, unglaublich!

Selten so gut gegessen. Sehr wertig und frisch! Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr gut und aufmerksam. Der Koch ist der Oberhammer!

Wir haben dieses Restaurant gestern dank Google entdeckt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden aber trotz der guten Bewertungen noch übertroffen. Uns erwartete ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Die Weinempfehlung war hervorragend. Der Gastgeber ist sehr sympathisch, ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam, um seine Gäste bemüht und eine wahre Zierde für seine Zunft. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut. Kein "... an ... mit ...-Schäumchen", sondern ein purer Genuss ohne überflüssige Schnörkel, die niemand braucht. Und das ist schwieriger, als verkünstelte Kreationen, die nur dem Ego des Zubereiters zuträglich sind. Denn hier geht es um sardische Küche, und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass diese woanders besser repräsentiert wird, als hier. Die Küche ist offen, was eine schöne Atmosphäre schafft. Zusammen mit der angenehmen Klaviermusik im Hintergrund, dem sehr guten Essen, dem sehr guten Wein und den hervorragenden Gastgebern kann man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Um es klar zu sagen, jetzt ist es ein richtig tolles Lokal. Der Chef wirbelt in der offenen Küche und zaubert tolle Speisen !! Echter Genuss Klasse !! Das war vor sieben Monaten: Wenn das so weitergeht, wird das ein richtig gutes Lokal. Es macht jetzt schon Spaß hinzugehen. Sehr ambitioniert, manchmal wird ein wenig improvisiert, aber mit Charme. Chef kocht mit Leidenschaft. Fische sind lecker, Vorspeisen sehr gut. Freue mich jedes Mal Gast zu sein. Zeit mitbringen.

We hebben super lekker gegeten. Mijn man koos voor lamsvlees en ik koos voor vis. Het lam was super mals. Maya de gastvrouw heeft voor mij de vis gefileerd. De vis was om de vingers bij af te likken. Wij zaten in het voorste gedeelte, beetje fris, maar kregen een warmtestraler aan ons tafel. Ik raad wel aan om te reserveren. Vriendelijke bediening, lekker eten, ik voel me een tevreden vrouw. Ps de huiswijn smaakt luchtig, fris, fruitig maar toch 14%.

Sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung und das Essen war auch ganz toll. Eine echte Bereicherung für die Innenstadt.

Waren auf der Suche nach etwas außergewöhnlichem und waren erfolgreich! Nach dem bereits die Vorspeisen vollstens überzeugt haben wurde das Ganze von Hauptgerichten getopt!!! Service war sehr zuvorkommend und auf Zack! Speisen frisch und einfach der Hammer! Wir kommen garantiert wieder! Wir wünschen dem Besitzer ganz viele liebe Gäste!

Beruflich wieder in Oberhausen und auf der Suche nach einem netten Restaurant für den Abend und "zufällig" auf das beste Restaurant gestoßen in dem ich italienisch/ mediterrane Küche außerhalb von Italien bisher gegessen habe. Der Service war sehr nett, sehr aufmerksam von Ankunft bis zur Verabschiedung an der Tür. Der Chef kam mehrfach an den Tisch, um zu fragen, ob wir zufrieden sind. Eine tolle und kreative Speisekarte. Das Essen war einfach großartig. Alles frisch, handgemacht, hochwertige Zutaten und perfekt zubereitet. Wir hatten gegrillte Zucchini, eigentlich eher unspektakulär vom Klang, aber mit wenigen Zutaten einen Hochgenuss herzustellen, ist eben Kochkunst. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns noch die gegrillte Aubergine mit Bohnen, Kichererbsen und Tomatensalat geteilt, eine Fest. Hauptspeise gegrillte Dorado mit Gemüse und Püree - saftig, würzig, großartig. Dazu noch eine tolle Wein- und Getränkeauswahl. Schade, dass Oberhausen etwas weiter weg ist, es ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

Sehr, sehr gut und einmalige Erlebnis. Genuß pur.

Das Essen war durchweg famos und das Personal super freundlich. Es werden generationsübergreifende Rezepte von der Uroma gekocht. Eine kulinarische Oase im Ruhrgebiet mit authentischem italienischem Essen.

Ich bin beeindruckt. Die Location war wunderschön, es gab leckeres Essen und natürlich ein super sympathischer Service. Dieses Restaurant kann man nur weiterempfehlen.🍯
