You are for me the best. Always delicious, fresh and extremely hospitable.

Fast friendly service, food tasty and plentiful. Prices are still good in terms of price/performance ratio. It's a shame that the restaurant is closing, but the couple is blessed with retirement after a long working life. I wish the couple many more happy years in retirement

The best innkeeper in all of Plauen, this iconic pub is worth a visit for those who want to eat a decent schnitzel and drink a few beers with it. On top of that, you can spend wonderful hours bowling, which is not possible anywhere else in Plauen

Great restaurant. Super Service. However, there is a small hidden pond in the “beer garden”. After 3-4 beers you have to be careful not to sink.

Great food, great selection and really tasty, if you want to eat exceptionally well, this is the place for you.

First of all, the ladies from the service were very friendly and responded to our "additional request" quickly and easily!👍 We went to brunch on the occasion of a birthday, but unfortunately it wasn't worth the money all in all! The buffet was very unbalanced, very meat-heavy. Vegetarians Don't get your money's worth here! Why they add bacon to the scrambled eggs, which are unfortunately too dry, even though bacon is offered separately, is another restriction for meat-free eaters. The cold cuts plate, with a disproportionate amount of sausage, was visually at youth hostel level . A dessert that was described as "frozen" was indefinable, so there is still a lot of potential in the matter that could be awakened with the friendly and considerate staff!

The pizzas are super delicious. The kebab is ok. I've been ordering here for years and have always been happy with the products.

Old corner pubs like the ones of old are rare to find these days.

I can only rate the breakfast, which is excellent value for money. Reservations are recommended. The service is friendly and always welcoming. A rustic and cozy atmosphere with a special charm; there's something to discover around every corner (photos, etc.).

A good opportunity to organize larger family celebrations... very nice landlord... well located property... invites you to go for a walk - after extensive enjoyment of food and drinks (but you have to get them yourself)

Constantly wrong, incomplete or even burnt food, portions that are far too small or are shared, desserts are charged but not available, very unfriendly staff, they freak out when asked about the wrong menu. Children are intimidated. Our child often comes home with stomach aches. The first 2 months when they started school were good and now it's really bad. Not recommended

We wanted to enjoy German cuisine and not spend so much money. Quickly looked it up on Google and then went to Astoria. The first impression was, let's say, difficult. When we held the card in our hand, we were skeptical about how the prices would work if you only expect a little bit of quality. We order schnitzel with mushrooms and fried potatoes and schnitzel with fries and two fried eggs. I chose Soljanka as a starter. While we waited for our food, we philosophized again about the quality and prices of the food. ....and about the guest room. The fact that we had to wait a good 40 minutes for our food gave us a good feeling. And then.....bääähhhhhmmm....our two plates arrived. I've rarely seen anything like that. Two large schnitzels n pound of side dish and plenty of champions. Oh dear, how will it taste for the price. Keep your fingers crossed and try it. Phew, lucky you. The taste was great but basically we each had two portions for the price of one. So I was very happy that my starter was forgotten. It would probably have been an entire tureen just for me. In the end we paid €33.20 for three drinks and the two huge portions and had a very friendly conversation with the MA. Honestly, for this quality and the price of the food it would be difficult to get a seat. If you want to drink a fancy wine or cocktail... you've come to the wrong place.
