We, 7 people, had a reservation for Saturday and were faced with a locked door. Since we don't come from Meißen, we didn't know that the restaurant was closed. We would have expected a rejection from the staff, especially since we reserved by email. Disappointing. The Ratskeller in Meißen surprised us even more positively. We had a great evening here. Clear recommendation!!!

Yes, definitely stop by and stay overnight. The room is clean and in order, the hostess is very friendly, the breakfast is rich and perfect, the beer is very good and the warm food is delicious. Highly recommended!!!

We came for dinner spontaneously on Mother's Day and were lucky enough to get a seat on the beautiful terrace. The team was super friendly and in a good mood. The food tasted really good – it took a while, but after the brunch beforehand, it was totally understandable. Overall, a really relaxed visit; we'd love to come back.

The area is fenced, cleared, locked and overgrown (as of August 2022). Too bad. I wanted to spend a warm late summer afternoon here. The photos make such a nice impression.
