My Döner is my favorite kebab restaurant in Kamenz and there are many good reasons why that is. The kebab is always great - juicy meat, crunchy vegetables and the sauce is amazing. You can tell that the focus here is on quality. The boss and his employees are super nice and quick. If you're in the mood for a really good kebab then you have to eat kebab here.

We spontaneously called for lunch today because we were at the Elstra bike park. We were immediately given a table for 4, even though there was a celebration taking place in the restaurant. The two ladies in service are super friendly and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. Later we met a gentleman. Whether owner or chef. The gentleman was simply great. Even though there was a lot to do and we weren't regulars, he took the time to come to our table and ask about us. The food is incredibly delicious. We had 2x schnitzel (wafer-thin and tender) with fries, 1x fire pan with dumplings and 1x goose breast with red cabbage and dumplings. The price-performance ratio is exactly right here. Everything homemade and freshly prepared. We recommend it with a clear conscience and will be happy to come back on our next bike park visit.

We spent Christmas dinner on the second holiday in this restaurant with a group of 17 people from four families. The quality of the food was excellent – ​​fresh, tasty and high quality. The kitchen team deserves great praise for this! Unfortunately, there were some aspects that clouded the positive impression. The ambience was not very Christmassy and rather simple. There were no festive decorations or atmospheric atmosphere, making it feel more like you were in a regular pub than having a festive Christmas dinner. Another point that disappointed us was the landlady's reaction to our request to pay separately. Since we consisted of four families, it was logical for us to split the bill individually. However, this led to clearly noticeable displeasure on the part of the landlady, which unfortunately put a damper on the mood towards the end. In summary, the food was of a very high standard, but the service and ambience still leave room for improvement. With a little more flexibility and a more festive design, the day could have been a complete success. 3 out of 5 stars.

So the price-performance ratio is definitely right here. The kebab has a lot of meat and the vegetables taste very good. Never had a kebab that was tastier!!! The staff is always very friendly too.

The loving hospitality of the employees left nothing to be desired and contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. The food that was served was not only tasty but also sufficient and of good quality. Here you can see the passion that goes into the preparation. A special highlight was the program at the table, which provided a lot of entertainment. The activities were creatively designed and helped the guests to laugh and exchange ideas together. This created an atmospheric atmosphere that one would expect in such an environment. However, there was one crucial point of criticism: the volume. It was so loud at times that I felt like I was sitting in a crowded train station. The decibel alarm went off several times. A relaxed conversation with the person I was talking to was only possible if we shouted at each other. Unfortunately, the rectangular tables do not help to improve this situation. It was often difficult to understand the people sitting next to you at the table, and the feeling of closeness and community that you longed for was lost. I think round tables are better and they definitely take up more space. I would like something to be done about room acoustics. In summary, it can be said that the tavern has great potential to become an even more pleasant place for social evenings. With some adjustments to the interior design and acoustics, it could meet all the requirements to offer an unforgettable experience. I look forward to returning in the future and hope these points are taken into account. 😊

This is the pub where we like to go with our group of men. Food is perfect and cheap. The service is super friendly. Simply great.

Another successful evening. Food, service and ambience great. This time we were personally cooked for by the boss. Our guests who didn't know the restaurant yet (why?!? I have to ask) were completely thrilled, the quality, quantity and taste were excellent. We wish the whole Athens team a merry Christmas.
