Absolutely top-notch! Great restaurant with the feel of an old train station. The food was excellent. The owner was friendly and had his train running from the ceiling. We'd love to come back next time we're in Wiesa. 👍👍👍👍👍

We spontaneously called for lunch today because we were at the Elstra bike park. We were immediately given a table for 4, even though there was a celebration taking place in the restaurant. The two ladies in service are super friendly and always look after the well-being of the guests. Later we met a gentleman. Whether owner or chef. The gentleman was simply great. Even though there was a lot to do and we weren't regulars, he took the time to come to our table and ask about us. The food is incredibly delicious. We had 2x schnitzel (wafer-thin and tender) with fries, 1x fire pan with dumplings and 1x goose breast with red cabbage and dumplings. The price-performance ratio is exactly right here. Everything homemade and freshly prepared. We recommend it with a clear conscience and will be happy to come back on our next bike park visit.

This weekend, I was part of a silver wedding anniversary party that spent the entire evening at this restaurant. I can only give high praise to the owners (who are also hands-on) and their staff. The waiters were super attentive, always friendly, and prompt. As soon as a glass was empty, they asked if they wanted anything else. A friendly chat at the bar was included. The food was also outstanding. Here, you can see that cooking is a craft that is passionately understood and practiced. We had an excellent buffet. With pulled pork, for example, the food stood out not only in terms of taste from the "run-of-the-mill buffet," but also in its offerings. The venue is modern, lovingly decorated in keeping with the restaurant's name, and (as in our case), invites you to linger and celebrate on the terrace, especially in summer. We would definitely go back!

Village-located restaurant. Experience gastronomy. In front of the building opposite the railway. Great ribs. German food. Been to many family gatherings. Not 5 star gastronomy, but hearty and hearty. And you will be full. What more do you want? And the price-performance ratio is completely okay.

Leckere Rippchen, gutes Salatbuffet, ordentliches Bier. An warmen Sommertagen ist der Biergarten sehr empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist freundlich und flink und kann sogar noch die Zeche im Kopf ausrechnen!

Aber Hallo - ich kann nur sagen "... Mein lieber Herr Gesangsverein!..." Danke für das kulinarische Erlebnis. Es muss ein Gerücht sein, dass Gott Frankreich für die Esskultur in den Olymp gehoben hat. Dann war er wohl noch nicht in Kamenz (Sachsen) bei der Gaststätte "Zur Eisenbahn Wiesa". Der Gastronom, mit Herz und Blut dabei und sein sehr herzliches Team, sind absolut bemüht das Erlebnis zu vervollkommnen. Wir werden uns wieder sehen und allen die es noch nicht probiert haben kann ich es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Hoffentlich werde ich die Gegend nochmals besuchen dürfen, dann weiß ich worauf ich mich freuen kann PS: für alle Pilot(in)en von EDMC nur 8 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wenn also mal wieder Spaßflug angesagt ist, dann wisst ihr wo man im Sommer am Donnerstag Abends Essen kann🛩️🥰

2020 - Die Gans war wieder par excellence! Superlecker und knusprig und die Sauce auch so ein Genuß. 2021 - So muß Gans schmecken! 2022 - Auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein Gaumenschmaus.

Wir waren heute zum Backrippchen essen bis zum abwinken. Es war super lecker und das Personal super freundlich .

Super leckere Rippchen! Herrliches All-you-can-eat Buffet mit allem was man sich wünscht. Das Team und die Bedienung ist einfach nur mega sympathisch und freundlich - man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Der Chefkoch ist ein Koch wie er im Buche steht! Er hat eine absolute Leidenschaft für seine Tätigkeit!

Wir wurden heute zum Mittagessen in der Kaminstube untergebracht. Ambiente eher einfach gehalten. Den Innenbereich der eigentlichen Gaststätte kann ich daher nicht beurteilen, diese war heute Mittag geschlossen. Außenbereich ist liebevoll mit vielen Details rund um das Thema Eisenbahn gestaltet. Essen ist in Ordnung, solide, leider aber auch nichts besonderes. Unseren Rentnern hat es sehr geschmeckt, für diese waren auch die Portionen groß genug. Ich fand die Menge etwas wenig, dafür den Preis von 16-18€ für Hähnchenbrustfilet oder auch Roulade zu hoch. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich, daher noch 4 Sterne insgesamt.

Absolut empfehlenswert,tolles familiengeführtes Unternehmen und sehr schöne Location.

Die beste Gastfreundschaft die ich jemals erlebt habe. Rippchen sehr zart, leckere Beilagen, frischer Salat und super Dressings. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr nett und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Super Essen und nicht zu vergessen, die Fahrt der Eisenbahnen an der Decke im Restaurant. Immer eine Empfehlung wert.

Wir wurden super eingewiesen für das Essen vom heißen Hut. Die vorbereiteten Fleisch- und Fischstücke waren lecker mariniert und gewürzt. Das zubereiten des Fleisches machte uns viel Spaß. Auch die gerechten Dips und Sättigungsbeilagen schmeckten super. Überrascht wurden wir dann auch noch mit einem Dessert. Wir hatten viel Spaß und ich kann das Essen vom heißen Hut nur weit empfehlen. Und noch einmal vielen Dank für die nette Bewirtung.

Ob für eine Feier, einem "Rippchenessen", etwas hausgeschlachtetem oder auch zu einem der Skatturniere im Winter kann man immer hier einkehren.
