Edelweiss in Kamenz

I was on a short break in Pulsnitz and Kamenz and discovered the Edelweiss restaurant. I had a Kassler steak. It was freshly prepared, the quality was very good, and the price was more than reasonable. I'd gladly come back again. 👍 Unfortunately, they don't accept card payments.

I must say, time seems to have stood still here. Excellent food of superb quality. Completely unpretentious. That's why I gladly come to Kamenz.

I was there on October 10th with my mother and my two daughters. My dish of tongue with asparagus was delicious, my mother's steak au four was juicy and she enjoyed it, and my girls also enjoyed their schnitzels. All in all, we'll be back, thank you.

I celebrated my 75th birthday and was very pleasantly surprised, as were my guests. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. I will recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much for everything, the Nagel family.

I went out to eat with my partner on Saturday. We had no trouble getting a nice table. The restaurant was comfortably furnished. The food was excellent. The portion size and price were perfectly matched, and it was delicious. The service was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! We'll be back.

A cozy restaurant with very tasty food.

German home cooking. The food was delicious. It was cozy.

We were here for lunch today. We got a nice seat without a reservation. Our little one even had a highchair and something to play with while we waited for the meal to be ready. The food was excellent. Delicious home-cooked food that tasted amazing. The prices are reasonable, too. Some might say the decor is from yesteryear, but for me, that's what makes it so charming. There's also a beautiful tiled stove inside, so it'll probably be nice and cozy in the winter.

This is our favorite pub with our group of guys. The food is perfect and affordable. The service is super friendly. Simply top-notch.

Very simple restaurant. Given that there are so many breaded things on offer, breading still needs to be practiced. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a bag. The ambience seems cheap and has remained in the last millennium.

Food was tasty, portions were small, but the price was up. The pictures of the menu are not up to date. Each dish is about €5 more expensive.

Despite the full house, very quick and friendly service. The food was simply great. I would recommend it at any time. I'll definitely be back

Food tastes good! Service is also very nice. I found the chairs very uncomfortable. But the food is recommended. Price/performance very good. We'll be back!

A compliment to the service staff, who remained friendly despite the full house and was open to special requests. We were there with 10 people (7 E + 3 K). (Reservation is recommended) Unfortunately we were not satisfied with the food. The steak was still rare instead of medium (as ordered), some of the potatoes were still very firm and the schnitzel was sticky. The fries could have done with something too. Nevertheless, we could imagine going there again.

Very tasty food. I hope the restaurant stays around for a long time. Many in Kamenz have already closed.

It's just great there. The only drawback is that the restaurant is not barrier-free and neither is the toilet. According to the owner, the restaurant is only leased and there is nothing that can be done about it. You can also take the food with you.

I have rarely had such delicious food. Service is quick and friendly and I can't complain about the ambience. It was a very nice dinner.

Freshly prepared and very tasty food served by friendly and courteous service. The ambience inside was quite acceptable, although the outside tables were very tightly placed on the sidewalk. What I rate as really negative is the quality of the toilets.

Eine von außen unscheinbare Gaststätte. Aber es ist eine der wenigen , die noch klassische deutsche Hausmannskost anbietet. Leider sind die asiatischen, türkischen und ähnlichen Mitwettbewerber in der Überzahl. Im "Edelweiß" ißt man lecker und zum kleinen Preis. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und flink. Sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

In einer Nebenstraße entdeckten wir zufällig diese Gaststätte. Der Eingangsbereich sieht nicht gerade sehr einladend aus, hat mehr dörflichen Charakter. Aber der sollte kein Nachteil sein. Bedienung war freundlich, die Speisen einschließlich Salatteller wurden frisch zubereitet. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke sind seit vorigem Jahr relativ moderat gestiegen. Wir kehren deshalb gern wieder hier ein.

Essen war ok - Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich- Ambiente ist noch so ein bißchen DDR- Styl

Restaurant mit dem Charme der 80er. Es ist nun wirklich nicht die anspruchsvollste Küche, aber es schmeckt und der Preis stimmt auch. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und die Wartezeiten sind kurz.
