Really good, down-to-earth German cuisine. We eat here regularly and the quality of the food is always at the same high level. We were always served very friendly. In summer you can sit on the green terrace and enjoy a cold beer. For us the best restaurant in Bretzenheim. 👍

The food was OK. You can do it. But it's nothing special.

Very attractive outdoor area, so our anticipation was great. Nice atmosphere in the dining room and nice, friendly service. The salads looked very appetizing, but unfortunately they were a very dry affair, and we were given house dressing upon request. My linguine with plenty of truffles looked wonderful, but was still far from the ideal cooking point, far too hard.....when I asked, I got a new portion....cooking point now perfect, now unfortunately drowned in cream and only with a touch of truffle. It's a shame, price/performance is in no way consistent. ....Furthermore, the walk to the sanitary facilities was very unpleasant; in the beautifully designed cellar, which also includes a wine cellar, there was a pungent smell of manhole. ..... Unfortunately, our expectations were not met.

We were here for the first time today. We came from Völklingen to go to the rose garden. I have to say it was very good. The boss herself came to our table to welcome us. You rarely experience this kind of friendliness. The service was also very friendly and even the young chef came out afterwards to say goodbye to us. I've never experienced anything like that before. The food was otherwise delicious and this restaurant is more than recommended. We will definitely come back and will recommend it to our friends and customers.

The owner and cook is really very nice. She accommodated allergies and a vegan diet without any problems. The colorful pasta plate and salad dressings can be ordered vegan. A few more vegan options would be desirable. We really enjoyed it there and everyone enjoyed it.

Best Stollen in Germany! As a fitness trainer and nutritionist, I can only recommend this stollen: the stollen at Vieux is only made from healthy ingredients. If you want to eat something sweet at Christmas time, then just the Stollen from "Vieux". Kind regards, Irina Stepanets

Delicious schnitzel with side dish and salad

Were invited there for a birthday. Food was great, service was very friendly and attentive. It's a great location because there's plenty of space for the kids outside. Mini golf, playground, etc. Always a pleasure.
