We were here for dinner. From the moment we arrived, we felt very comfortable and received a very friendly welcome! The food (4-course menu) was exceptionally delicious, and the wine pairing was perfect! We'll definitely be back, and we'd be happy to stay overnight!

In September 2024, the MandelHof team made our wedding plans come true! They accommodated our food requests, implemented the decor plan, and exceeded our expectations! The Mandelhof had a food truck at the Haardt Wine Festival. The food has always been delicious in recent years... this year's Saumagenburger was truly outrageous. Advertised as a bun, what you got was a soft burger bun with a slice of lettuce and a tiny bit of balsamic onion... for 8 euros.

A family-run inn that sets standards, many a hotel can take a leaf from that. The rooms are not only well maintained, but also extremely spacious and at a price that is hard to beat. Breakfast is a culinary highlight: lovingly prepared and a real culinary delight that gets the day off to a perfect start. I really hope that there will be a room available on my next business trip, because people really enjoy coming back here.

Six of us spontaneously dined here on a Friday evening. All the tables in the front area were occupied. But the next room was opened for us. We were served warmly and friendly and we enjoyed the food excellently. We would come back at any time.

Through narrow streets surrounded by wonderful houses you finally come to a parking lot directly at the Mandelhof and there is a beautiful restaurant. Very friendly staff, the food was a dream. Our daughter has never had her children's meal served so artfully. Absolutely recommended!

We stayed one night and ate in the restaurant in the evening. The food was very tasty, the service was very friendly and competent. There is a great wine list with local wines, which can also be ordered by the glass. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. We felt very comfortable. Parking is just a bit difficult.

I don't understand why you can't give 0 stars. I had to pay for food even though no food was served. Terribly sad.

Charming inn on the wine route — located above Neustadt — delicious breakfast served at your table — open, friendly hostess — late check-in possible via key box — Smart TV with Netflix — free public parking next door — very good value for money — highly recommended!

The menu was cold, the carrot slices were mostly hard. The wow effect was missing.

Very attractive outdoor area, so our anticipation was great. Nice atmosphere in the dining room and nice, friendly service. The salads looked very appetizing, but unfortunately they were a very dry affair, and we were given house dressing upon request. My linguine with plenty of truffles looked wonderful, but was still far from the ideal cooking point, far too hard.....when I asked, I got a new portion....cooking point now perfect, now unfortunately drowned in cream and only with a touch of truffle. It's a shame, price/performance is in no way consistent. ....Furthermore, the walk to the sanitary facilities was very unpleasant; in the beautifully designed cellar, which also includes a wine cellar, there was a pungent smell of manhole. ..... Unfortunately, our expectations were not met.

We were there for the 4-course menu, first of all, the atmosphere is really nice, even if the toilets smelled very strongly of a drain. The service is really excellent. The food leaves you sophisticated and unusual, yet down-to-earth. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 courses were significantly too seasoned, to the point where you could hardly eat them. Here, more emphasis should be placed on prior tasting and finer tuning of the individual components. Another point that slightly disappointed me was the price of water. Unfortunately, almost 6 euros for a bottle of water is now standard in Germany. When do I expect a bottle of mineral water (San Pellegrino or similar). We were given a bottle of sparkling tap water. Totally okay, but cheaper (or maybe free? Would be a great service) Overall, we'll give it a second chance :)

Centrally located in the district of Haardt. Super friendly service. The owner? gives tips on wineries and interesting companies. The food is very tasty and has a good price/performance ratio

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at the Mandelhof. We booked a solo entertainer for this. When we agreed on the menu, our wishes were taken into account. On the day of the celebration, we and our guests received a very friendly welcome. The food, from appetizers to dessert, was a culinary delight! The eye ate it too. A huge compliment to the kitchen! The friendly service that was there for us is very competent and attentive. She organized the process between the menu and the solo entertainer very well. We didn't have to worry about anything. Very friendly service, no frills, wonderful dining room, a cozy terrace in summer and of course the food was really delicious! Potato gnocchi like my mother's dumplings, the Palatinate plate with delicious spices and the goat cheese: VERY FINE! We'd love to come back!

The food was not good and relatively little

Food cold to lukewarm, the ragout from the Hirm extremely clear and of poor meat quality. Unfortunately, the service is very friendly but the complaint has no consequences whatsoever. Tastes quite good.

Die Weinberatung ist top, das Ambiente ist nett! Das Essen habe ich allerdings nur als durchschnittlich empfunden. Sowohl die "Hausbuletten" mit lauwarmem Kerbel-Kartoffel-Salat als auch der Pfälzer Teller mit Saumagen, Bratwurst & Leberknödel, Sauerkraut, Senf & Kartoffelpüree schmeckten doch recht fade. Mehr Mut beim Würzen wäre wünschenswert.

5 Sterne gibt es nur bei 5 Sternen. Das Geschäft hat sie verdient. Gemütliche Terrasse, charmante Gasträume und schön renovierte Zimmer bei fairen Preisen. Dazu kommt leckeres Essen und ein sehr lustiger und Aufgeschlossener Service. Ich hatte meinen ersten Saumagen und dabei viel gernt über das Traditionsessen. Auch das Frühstück ist mit liebevollen Details eine Sache, auf die man sich freuen kann. Weiter so!

Wir haben hier spontan noch einen Tisch zum Abendessen bekommen. Der Service war ausgesprochen gut ! Das Essen war lecker und die Preise in Ordnung. Gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Wie würden wieder dort hin gehen wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Urgemütliches Pfälzer Ambiente, hier konnte ich meine rheinländischen Freunde ein weiteres Mal von der Gastfreundschaft der Pfälzer überzeugen.

Nettes kleines Lokal. Leider ist die Speisekarte doch recht klein gehalten. Beim Service ist noch Luft nach oben.

Urgemuetliches Lokal in einem tollen Fachwerkhaus. 2 voneinander getrennte Gastraeume sind sehr schoen eingerichtet. Die Karte ist übersichtlich mit Pfälzer Spezialitäten. Top Qualität und Geschmack. Sher gute Weine und ein guter Service runden das Bild ab. Leider ziehen die Gastwirte im Mai in ein neues Lokal im Ort um. Hoffentlich findet sich ein Wirt der diese tolle historische Lokal weiterbetreibt.

Küche zaubert tolle Kreationen, dazu passende Weinvorschläge, zuvorkommender Service, schönes Ambiente… was will man mehr? Bin gespannt wie es nach dem Umzug im Juni an neuer Stelle weitergeht.

Hier kehre ich gerne ein, allein wegen der großen Weinkarte mit Pfalz, Deutschland und Europa. Da wird jeder fündig. Egal ob Einsteiger oder Weintrinker mit Anspruch. Von jung bis gereift, von klassisch bis "Freakstoff" - hier wird man glücklich. Dazu eine kleine, aber feine Speisekarte und Tagesempfehlungen. Uriges Ambiente, gemütlich, guter Service mit ordentlich Fachwissen ;)

Eine urige Atmosphäre in einem Sandsteingewölbe. Klein aber sehr fein. Die Speisen sind sehr edel und von hohem Geschmack. Auswahl an weinen ist hoch qualitativ. Ein Geheimtipp!

Wir hatten in kleiner, geselliger Runde einen wunderschönen Abend in der urigen Jägerstube der Quetschekuche Stubb verbracht. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit den köstlichen Speisen. Die kleine und der Saison angepasste Karte, bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Alles schmeckte hervorragend und war liebevoll angerichtet. Auch die Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Besonders loben möchten wir die Servicekraft Mona. Mit ihrer liebenswerten und aufgeschlossen Art hat sie uns diesen Abend wirklich zu einem " BESONDEREN" gemacht. Sie klärte uns mit ihrer eigenen, spürbaren Begeisterung über die jeweiligen Speisen auf.Was sie nicht wusste, klärte sie ab. Das war echt toll! Sie ist mit Geld nicht aufzuwiegen. Mona du bist toll! Urgemütlich, sensationelle Weinkarte, authentische Küche, die immer auch eine Überraschung bereithält und ein sehr guter Service, der auch bei vollem Haus Übersicht und Freundlichkeit behält. Die Kartoffelsuppe ist wunderbar sämig und sehr zu empfehlen!
