Highly recommended! Family-run restaurant, with very good food at reasonable prices. The mother seems to be the cook and knows her craft. All the dishes were great, the service (the daughter) was also great! The homemade, filled croissants were a hit and tasted great. We can only recommend it!

The food came after over an hour. Dark rustic atmosphere. Service went. Salad was a disaster. Other food tasted good.

I would like to order, but the telephone number is always answered by the answering machine. Then I wrote down the cell phone number, but no one answers either If I could get through I would have the WhatsApp group information so that I could order again. The food was always good!! At first we were skeptical about whether we should eat here because it didn't look that promising. But we were really surprised. Service very friendly and accommodating. We had a salad and 2 different pizzas and everything was very tasty 😋 We'd love to come back :))

We ordered the food through Lieferando. The food arrived cold, and the salad had no flavor. Two drops of sauce. A disgrace for the price.

Casually run sports restaurant, which is unfortunately only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Home to a football club, billiards and darts club.

Wir hatten nicht reserviert und gerade noch so einen Platz bekommen. Hier kehren scheinbar viele Wandergruppen ein. Die Räumlichkeiten sind nicht sehr gemütlich, es war nicht sehr warm und die Räume schallen sehr. Aber gut, es ist ein Waldhaus. Selbstbedienung, die Servicekraft war freundlich. Ich habe Schnitzel Elsässer Art bestellt. Es ging recht flott, der Preis ist zivil. Es waren zwei Schnitzel, zart und sehr knusprig, mit Zwiebeln und Rahm, eine große Portion Pommes und ein ansehnlicher Salat mit Blattsalat, Bohnen und Rote Bete. Den habe ich als einziges komplett geschafft, das zweite Schnitzel habe ich eingepackt. Hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt und ich komme gerne wieder.

The Naturfreudehaus Waldheim is idyllically located in the Palatinate Forest but not far from Pirmasens. The food is good and the service is good too.
