A lovely experience. Such friendly workers there, couldn’t do enough for the 3 of us. Wine was served very chilled it was delicious and the food was super . Lachs flamkuken is my favourite. Will certainly return.

We stopped for a drink along the way. The wine was excellent and even though we didn't order food we were impressed by the wide choice on the menu. The venue is wonderful and the staff super friendly.

Quaint and green place to have a hearty meal. Options for vegetarians too.

We spontaneously stopped here after a short hike. The landlord, Moldovan, was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the shish kebab was still being prepared when we arrived (we were the first at 5:30 p.m.) and we were the first guests. But the turkey schnitzel and the pork loin were also very tasty. The wine spritzer was also a very good mix. We would be completely satisfied. There was also a Ramazotti on the house. Thank you for the culinary experience.

The food was great, the schnitzel was totally crispy and so were the fries. The salmon fillet with fried vegetables was fresh and delicious. There was also a large side salad. From the outside the restaurant is rather inconspicuous, but the food was good.

We had tarte flambée and beef liver. Both freshly prepared and super tasty. Wine was refilled on the house. Nice terrace. We'd love to come back

Quietly located with good parking for motorcycles. The service was friendly and on point. The food is good average. On the terrace you have a beautiful view of the greenery.

I can't understand the good reviews at all. Short Story: I've been driving past the Eichelsbachermühle on my way home for a long time and have often thought that I could come here with my family. Since Easter was just around the corner and we always want to try out a different location, I thought maybe this would be something. So I first came here to look for reviews, which surprisingly were really good. So I stopped there on my way home without “testing” (because I basically couldn’t reach anyone on the phone, even though it was supposed to be open according to the stated opening hours. (Number would not be available, etc.) So I stopped, there was no one inside but one Russian/Polish woman with her children. This woman didn't have a smile on her face, she was generally just unfriendly. I felt very uncomfortable, but I still wanted to give it a chance and reserved tables for 17 people for Easter Sunday. She just left me afterwards and went to the kitchen. I felt like an idiot and then went back to my car. The next weekend, we wanted to give it another chance, I thought maybe she was having a bad day, it can happen to anyone. So I came there with 4 other people to test before our Easter dinner, the restaurant was completely empty again. We sat down and now comes the most incomprehensible thing for me... It was freezing cold there, they had no heating or fire on, the lights were off. We sat in the dark. We all felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We and the children had to keep our jackets and hats on. Despite the fact that we were seen coming in, after almost 15 minutes there was no one there who wanted to take an order. We then decided to just leave and have something to eat somewhere else. We were more than speechless... We then moved our Easter dinner somewhere else because you are not welcome there and you get sick. Since I couldn't reach anyone by phone, I couldn't even cancel! I would say bad luck for the Eichelsbachermühle.

The service was very warm and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. The food was excellent. And the cupcakes are amazing! Beautifully decorated, almost too good to eat, and so delicious. We will come back next time we are in the area.

Today it was said once across the menu. Schnitzel, tarte flambée, lentils with an Indian touch, salad, chicken breast and fillet are all recommended. Finally there was a cupcake that was not only extremely delicious but each one was a small visual work of art. Service always friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go again on our next short vacation.

We went to this restaurant yesterday and were very impressed. It was nice and warm and we were served very nicely and we were able to experience the warmth of the innkeepers. Rarely have I had such a good Aperol and there was also a schnapps with it. We ate a tarte flambée and it tasted delicious. We also asked if they had a pack of pasta for our home because we wanted to cook in the evening, and there was a bag on the table. We were there on foot and it started to rain and then we wanted to order a taxi, but it did The boss said it was taking too long and drove us home personally. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Eichelsbacher Mühle and can only recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty BBQ ribs! Really great! We shared a house-style Caesar salad as a starter, which was also really tasty. The beef fillet was mega! Will definitely come back. March 2024: we went there again (BBQ ribs of course) and it was good as always. The portion size of the fries has doubled 😅. We haven't been able to find any unfriendliness that some people describe here, on the contrary! The service staff and the owner are extremely friendly and ask if everything is ok, if you would like a dessert or a Ramazzotti / espresso to digest... What is true is that it is cold. We were now in the fireplace room, it was a little warmer there, but you could basically turn on the heating. But ok, I'll just put on a sweater, the food and the hospitality are worth the little bit of cold.

In my opinion a very underrated restaurant. We were served really nicely, the food was very tasty 😋 and came quickly. I had the Caesar salad and the beef fillet. Both terrific. As a little tip if you like it, order the warm cheese sauce for dipping with the fries. The cupcake was simply art and tasted just as good. Always my pleasure.

I can't comment on the food because it didn't happen at all. We met with a group there. Sat there, place was so cold, had to put my jacket and scarf back on. When the drinks came, we put our money on the table and went to Angelo's to eat a wonderful pizza. In addition, just before Easter, the Christmas balls were still hanging at the entrance. That was it for the Eichelsbacher mill

Terrible… Schnitzel was anything but a schnitzel (it was prepared in the deep fryer). Sauce was so thick that it was easier to fill a hole in the sauce than pour it over the “dish”. The fries were 1:1 like those at McDonald’s, some arrived lukewarm and some cold. Service was only the absolute minimum... so no greeting, no escort to the table, no questions asked as to whether everything was OK, no question as to whether we enjoyed it and of course no farewell... Drinks were filled from plastic bottles from the supermarket and then charging €3 for 0.3L is absolutely outrageous!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!

I am impressed by the breadth of the hearts of the Ouners Julia and Igor. With all my heart, I was attracted by their sincere and friendly attitude towards all guests, the atmosphere of the establishment with a fireplace and illuminated lamps ander the table, and delicious dishes. I want to come back again and again, taste their food, and enjoy the state of harmony and joy... a special place this time was occupied by pork steaks, 🥩 medium and light frying, liver under sour cream sauce, and grilled chicken, 🍗, decorated with fresh salad. It was unbeatable! and for dessert, my son received unsurpassed cupcakes and home-made Marshmallows in the form of flowers. Ah, how beautiful and delicious!

We discovered this inconspicuous inn after a hike and were pleasantly surprised. Home-style cooking, food good, plentiful, nicely prepared, service very nice and accommodating. The highlight are the homemade muffins. I also found it nice that Küch is open all day...most restaurants no longer “need” that these days. We will remember this restaurant for hikes in the Pirmasenser Land.

The only vegan dish on the menu was no longer available. The schnitzel was a ready-made schnitzel from the deep fryer, which you could tell by the bite. The vegetables were drizzled with lots of balsamic, which overpowered the entire flavor of all the dishes. The drinks (Cola, Fanta, Cola Zero) tasted stale, weren't really cold and there were no towels in the toilets, just facial tissues. Payment is only possible in CASH or with Paypal, but we were refused even Paypal and forced us to pay in cash! You don't get a cell phone network there anyway, but a guest WiFi would make up for a lot... Unfortunately, this restaurant was a bitter disappointment for us after our lovely hike. The cobwebs on the ceiling didn't bother us so much...

Das Essen war sehr lecker, nicht zu üppig, leider ohne Beilagensalat. Preislich in Ordnung. Zum Nachtisch kann ich die Napoleontorte empfehlen. Wirklich lecker und auch optisch ansprechend angerichtet. Der Service war sehr nett, man hatte das Gefühl als Gast wirklich willkommen zu sein. Wir bekamen nach dem Essen osteuropäische Süssigkeiten (Name ist leider entfallen) spendiert. Dazu noch jeder der wollte einen Schnaps (eigentlich einen Doppelten). Den Kindern legte der Wirt noch ein paar Süssigkeiten hin, damit niemand zu kurz kommt. Alles sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Keine Kartenzahlung möglich! Das ist schon ein Wehrmutstropfen. Nicht jeder Wanderer der vorbeikommt hat ein Haufen Bargeld in der Tasche. Das Ambiente... es ist nicht runtergekommen oder unsauber, aber man merkt schon das mal wieder ein paar Zehntauend investiert werden müssten. Die muss man halt erstmal erwirtschaften, wofür ich dem Wirt alle Daumen drücke, denn ich habe mich wohl gefühlt, als Gast gewertschätzt und dabei noch richtig gut gegessen. Fazit: Ich werde dort jetzt öfter vorbeischauen und empfehle jedem Wanderer in der Gegend es ebenfalls zu tun. Sofern er Bargeld dabei hat...

Essen hat total lecker geschmeckt und war sehr schön angerichtet. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Chef persönlich hat sich erkundet, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit war und war auch sehr sympathisch. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Lokal ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, alles frisch zubereitet, keine fertigen Produkte, das hat meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Man kann schön auf der Terrasse sitzen, diese ist auch überdacht. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber auch ein wenig abenteuerlich. Um eine Flasche trockenen Wein zu bestellen musste die Bedienung drei oder vier mal nachfragen gehen, letzten Endes haben wir dann zwei Gläser statt einer Flasche bekommen, war OK. Um Wassergläser zur Wasserflasche zu bringen, musste die Bedienung ca. 5 mal erinnert werden. Weiter ging es mit dem Essen. Mein zunächst ausgewähltes Gericht war leider aus, so habe ich mich dann für ein Steak entschieden, wie meine Begleitung. Die Bedienung kam dann wieder raus, es täte Ihr unglaublich leid, aber es gäbe nur ein Steak. Ich habe das (wie vorher schon mit dem Wein und den Wassergläsern) mit Humor genommen und dann Lachs bestellt. Wie oben erwähnt war das Essen wirklich sehr gut und ist auch recht schnell gekommen. Der Nachtisch verlief ohne Probleme. Man muss vielleicht erwähnen, dass als wir dort waren eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft da war, vielleicht hat es deshalb an der ein oder anderen Stelle gehakt. Insgesamt war ich dennoch sehr zufrieden, hatte meinen Spaß und vor allem gut gegessen.

Auf der Terrasse sitzt man gut, Getränke waren nicht kalt serviert. Nicht optimal bei sehr sommerlichen Temperaturen.

Wir hatten Schaschlik bestellt und waren sehr enttäuscht da wir keinen Fleischspieß bekamen. Es handelte sich um Schweinefleisch Würfel vom Grill die sehr durchwachsen gewesen sind. Dazu wurden rohe sauere Zwiebeln Scheiben serviert. War nicht wirklich was man sich unter Schaschlik vorstellt.

Schönes Lokal, gutes Essen, nettes Personal. Kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gemischt. Die Leber war teils sehr zäh (3 von 10 Sternen), aber der Flammkuchen mit Lachs überzeugte sehr (10 von 10 Sternen). Das Ambiente und der Service waren ausgezeichnet.

Wir haben eine Geburtstagsfeier mit 26 Personen gefeiert und wurden hervorragend empfangen und bedient . Alle waren sehr freundlich das Essen war super lecker wir waren alle rund um zufrieden und würden da auch aufjedenfall wieder hin gehen .

Wir hätten hier lieber nicht essen sollen, schon beim Betreten dieses Restaurants keine Erwiederung auf unser "guten Abend" da man sich lieber mit einer sehr lauten Dame am Thresen unterhielt. Lieblos wurde uns dann die einseitige Speisenkarte auf den Tisch gelegt. Die Bekleidung des Personals - völlig unangemessen - der Flammkuchen war gut und schön heiß. Das war auch schon alles, was hier positiv war. Schade, wir wollten nur schön zu Muttertag essen. Keine Empfehling
