An “old” but very familiar restaurant. Small but good card. Good dishes and prepared quickly. They also have bowling alleys. Maybe a MUST to try. Small prices 😉.

Good middle-class restaurant, with good price performance and attentive, very nice service. We've been there twice now with 15 people, the food always came at the same time and we all enjoyed it! Clear recommendation.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good day on October 26th, 2024. The service was mediocre, the food was below average. Apparently things weren't going well in the kitchen and that was noticeable. We expected more based on the reviews here.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The innkeeper greets every guest personally and always has a quick saying up his sleeve. We'd love to come back.

On November 2nd, 2024 at 11 a.m. the civil wedding of my daughter Annett and her fiancé Dennis took place in the wedding room of Lüdinghausen Castle. The guests present were then invited to the wedding dinner as a festive fondue in the “River Upstream” restaurant. In addition to the bride and groom, there were 24 adult guests + 3 children + 2 babies and our dog Luna. A big thank you to the entire team at the “River Upstream” restaurant for their hard work in the preparations, for the wedding dinner as a celebratory fondue and for the professional and guest-oriented service. Contrary to previous planning, our entire wedding party arrived at the restaurant about an hour before the agreed time. The reaction was immediate and everyone was able to sit in a side room and were immediately served drinks. The final decoration of the wedding table was done hand in hand and the result was very beautiful to look at - a real feast for the eyes. The entire restaurant and kitchen team actively contributed to ensuring that our bride and groom, Annett & Dennis, had a wonderful day. Thank you very much again! We've been there a few times now for the lunch buffet and are always thrilled! The food is excellent and the service is as it should be, discreet, quick and extremely friendly.

Unfortunately closed. Sooooo sad!! The concept had an oriental touch and was special 😍. The delicious dishes and spices are a real taste explosion!!

Went there as a small group, stopped by to have a drink, it was okay. Employee was very nice and accommodating.

We ordered pizza. We really enjoyed it. I would say best pizza in LH!!!! Service was super friendly and quick!!!! Keep it up!

Ordered via Lieferando, pizza was not as described, gyros were cheap pan gyros. Driver is sent off without changing any money Never again
