Went to the pitch on the canal and thought it was a great long weekend. It was a bit restless on May 1st, but when the weather is perfect, where isn't it? Can highly recommend it!

For me, the Gasthaus Peters in Lüdinghausen is an absolute insider tip when it comes to celebrations and events! Working with the great team around Maren and Hendrik is just fun - warm, professional and with a lot of passion for gastronomy. You can tell straight away: The two of them live what they do and are always open to tips, creative ideas and one or two valuable pieces of advice. All of the celebrations that I have been able to attend at Gasthaus Peters so far have gone smoothly and absolutely reliably. The arrangements work perfectly, the food is always a pleasure and the drinks are always well chilled - exactly how you want it for a successful celebration. I can unreservedly recommend the Gasthaus Peters for any kind of celebration - whether it's a wedding, birthday or company party. We went to this restaurant today for the Westphalian buffet and absolutely loved it! Despite a large birthday party in the hall next door and the restaurant being completely booked, we were served very quickly and friendly. Our drinks arrived quickly and everything ran smoothly at the buffet. The selection was huge – so big that it was hard to decide! There were various types of meat such as game, ham and roulades, all freshly sliced ​​in front of us and served straight away. Empty plates were immediately cleared away so that you could easily try again with a new plate. The dessert buffet was also impressively large, and the entire staff was consistently friendly and attentive. An employee said it was a bit chaotic today because of the crowds - but as guests we didn't notice it at all. Everything went perfectly and very organized. We are usually rather critical guests and look closely, but here everything was really great. A big thank you to the operators and the entire team – you’re doing a great job! We would particularly like to emphasize that you are there for us exactly when others are enjoying their free time: on weekends, on public holidays and in the evenings. We stayed at Peters with the motorhome over Easter - for the third time for us - we felt welcome again and very comfortable! - great parking space at a good price, everything was very uncomplicated, great view of the water, pure relaxation - wonderful restaurant, very tasty, good quality food at a fair price - Here the guests are looked after in a good mood and with a positive attitude ……… we enjoyed it and will definitely come back! We were there for the buffet and it was really great. There was classic German cuisine here: a lot of choice and what I was able to try was very tasty. There was almost everything from beef roulades to fries.

An overnight stay at the jetty and food. It was really tasty and the portions were large. Price performance was great. Very nice staff. However, you should reserve a table as it is always busy.

We were invited to a buffet here. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good. Hot dishes were far too little or even unseasoned, dry and some were even cold when you arrived at the table!!! Really bad for such a restaurant and for the price. The 1 star is for the staff and the fairly mediocre selection. Unfortunately not recommended as a buffet option!

We were guests there over the weekend with 3 motorhomes. We had a delicious meal on Saturday evening and also took part in the fantastic lunch buffet (Sunday). Owner and staff very friendly, we had a great chat with the owner and the staff. We'll be back!!!!

Simply great!! The location. The people. Simply everything! Everyone is super welcoming. They take a lot of time for you and get the best advice possible. Hendrik and Maren are really nice and put their heart and soul into it. We celebrated our wedding with you and what can I say... it was simply perfect! The food - a dream! If you are looking for good home cooking, Peters is the right place for you. The quality here is excellent. All dishes excellent. Even the supplements such as: B. Croquettes or potato salad are all homemade. The service is impeccable and always super friendly. Price performance is very fair here. We visit this house regularly and feel very comfortable.

Ich war ehrlich überrascht! 11:30Uhr wurde das Buffet eröffnet. Und dann die Vielfalt, Auswahl und Geschmacksrichtungen - alles topp. Salate ok. Aber die Gemüseauswahl, kann sich mit Spitzenhäusern messen. Dann die Fleischauswahl! Herrschaftszeiten: Spießbraten, Wild, Geflügel, Rouladen, Schnitzel, Chicke-Curry und, und ... in der Mitte Vorspeisen ich schätze 40 verschiedene. Und dann noch die Nachspeisen. Das muss man erlebt haben! Direkt am alten Kanalarm gelegen unscheinbar aber ein wirklicher "Geheimtipp". Wir kommen aus Münster und können diese Sonntagsbuffet wirklich empfehlen.

Delicious food, friendly service and a nice ambience

Was there to eat, would have expected more from the roast in terms of taste. The croquettes were great and you could taste that they were homemade. Unfortunately we had a table near the toilet door. An unpleasant smell hit my nose, it wasn't nice at all.

We were at Gasthaus Peters for the first time today after we became aware of it through an app. We are really excited. The food was super tasty and it came quickly. Beautiful inn located directly on the canal. We went to the beautiful beer garden to replenish our lost fluids 🍺. Fast and friendly service. We didn't eat there, but many other guests ate lunch. Which can be seen as positive.

We celebrated our wedding in the ballroom at Peters. All guests enjoyed the food. A special thank you goes to Hendrik, who provided us with valuable tips and great support during the wedding planning. We had a very nice evening and would happily recommend the location.

We were guests here with the caravan over the weekend. We also took part in the fantastic lunch buffet (Sundays). We came with the family (mother-in-law's birthday) and were completely surprised at how rich and particularly tasty everything was. My mother-in-law and we really liked it and will come again.

Very nice and quiet location on the canal. At the beginning of May we were at the Westphalian Buffet inn to celebrate our daughter's communion. It had been ordered several months in advance with a previous table reservation with the time and number of people, The buffet was then recommended. When we arrived, the first person had been forgotten to set up. When we spoke to the waitress, they said with a pointed tongue that I would just do it. By then the buffet was very empty and no refills were being made. The food was only lukewarm by the second course. There was hardly any dessert left either. It was also a shame that an inn brought warm non-alcoholic wheat beer, even the filter coffee was no longer hot and fresh. I have to honestly say that we were very disappointed. We paid a lot of money for everything, we even had to pay per person for the tablecloth. I had never experienced that it cost extra before.

We took part in the evening buffet with the family and there is only one thing to say, fantastic 👍 We will come back.

We come here once a year for a birthday dinner. Thank God it wasn't so crowded this time. There is a buffet here on Sundays, which is good for the inn. I would call it good home cooking. You can also eat gluten-free here. We had a child with celiac disease with us. The chef walked around with her and showed her what she could eat. For dessert she got ice cream on the house, as we didn't know what was in the pudding powder for dessert.

We were in transit and were allowed to stay despite the seats being fully booked. There was an excellent buffet in the evening. The boss and staff are quick and very friendly. Thank you again.

We were there on Easter Monday for the rich Westphalian buffet. It's a wonderful place

We reserved a table for the buffet on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. Due to work, we only managed to get there at 7:50 p.m. So far no problem at first, we thought, the buffet runs until 9 p.m. according to the information on the website. When we were shown to the table we were told that we would only get the buffet until 8:30 p.m. In the remaining half hour we quickly "shoveled" the food so that the buffet could be cleared promptly at 8:30 p.m. We weren't used to the restaurant until now. Everyone gets a second chance, but you should stick to what you promise on your homepage! We'll be back, but no longer for the buffet in the evening.

We felt wonderfully welcome with our daughter. The welcome is very warm, the menu offers a good selection of delicious meals and there was also a daily menu. The prices have been raised a little, unfortunately a consequence of many different areas but completely justified. The beer garden is great in summer!

Mega schmackhaftes, vielseitiges und sehr gutes Buffet, welches in dieser Art immer an jedem ersten Samstag eines jeden Monats angeboten wird. Wir waren als Gruppe dort. Es gab neben einer sehr guten Hochzeitssuppe, ein Vorspeisenbuffet bestehend aus verschiedenen Salaten, verschiedene Fischsorten use ein sehr leckeres Hauptspeisenbuffee. Ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen u.a.Hirschbraûten, Sauerbraten, Hähnchen überbacken, kleine Schnitzelchen, Rouladen, Kassler .Diverse Soßen zum den Fleischgerichten.😋 Gemüse... Sauerkraut, Rotkohl, Bohnen, Erbsen mit Möhren, usw und Alles hat man nicht geschafft zu probieren. Auch die Desserts waren toll... Herrencreme mit und ohne Alkohol, Vanillepudding, Schokopudding, Wackelpeter, Milchreis, +++ Wir waren mehr als satt. Es war ausgesprochen lecker. Freundliches Servicepersonal!!! Wir kommen wieder, versprochen!!!

Wir haben bei Peters unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich, so dass man sich von Anfang willkommen gefühlt hat. Es war einfach schön und für uns die perfekte Location zum Feiern. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service top, sehr aufmerksam und die Gläser niemals leer. Vielen Dank für eine unvergessliche Hochzeitsfeier!

Schickes Gasthaus/Restaurant mit toller Menü-Karte....

Wie sind dort bei einer Radtour zum Mittagsbuffett eingekehrt und wurden mit den Worten empfangen, dass Buffet sei schon sehr abgegrast, aber wir würden sicherlich eine Lösung finden. Das Buffet war noch total voll!! Und eine riesige Auswahl. Rind, Schwein, Wild und alles an Gemüse und Beilagen, was man sich vorstellen kann! Leckeres Brot und Salat! Also ich kann das sehr empfehlen, für jeden ist hier was dabei. Und das Personal ist mega freundlich! Wir sind hier nicht das letzte mal gewesen!

Wir haben die Taufe, sehr spontan, dort feiern dürfen. Unsere Gäste und wir waren begeistert. Tolles Essen (selbstgemachte Kroketten), super Service. Spielplatz vor Ort. Rundum zufrieden. Immer wieder gerne.

Buffet top und Preise gut ! So ein Essen mit der Auswahl bekommt man nur auf dem Schiff bei einer Kreuzfahrt. In der Woche kleine Speisekarte, aber schmackhafte Gerichte. Lage sehr schön am Kanal. Ideal für Rad- und Motorradfahrer. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Zum Buffet lohnt sich Anfahrt von 40-50 km.

Wir waren „nur“ im Gasthaus essen. Tolle Lage direkt am Kanal in Lüdinghausen. Tolle Atmosphäre und ein super Personal. Dazu die kleine aber sehr gute Karte mit tollen Gerichten… da passt wirklich alles zusammen… komme auf jeden Fall öfters

Fahrradtour mit Einkehr im Biergarten war hervorragend

Moin, wir haben hier am Anleger ruhig übernachtet. Strom ist vorhanden. Der Steg ist schön breit, so dass man mit vielen Leuten zusammensitzen kann. 20 Euro pro Schiff inkl. Strom halte ich jedoch für zu viel. Abends haben wir auch noch im Biergarten gegessen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenso wie das Essen in Ordnung. Die Gegend ist zum Spazierengehen mit Hund sehr gut👍

Wir haben per Mail und telefonisch Kontakt aufgenommen und einen Tisch für fünf Personen heute reserviert. Wir sind mit dem Fahrrad von Waltrop und Datteln aus nach Lüdinghausen geradelt und pünktlich dort angekommen. Wir haben das westfälische Buffet gehabt, welches von 11:30 Uhr bis 14:00 Uhr stattfindet und waren total begeistert. Besonders unsere Männer, die sich über Wirsing Rouladen, Kartoffeln, Saucen und andere Leckereien gefreut haben. Der Service war aufmerksam. Der Preis vollkommen okay. Pro Person haben wir 25 € bezahlt.

Sehr gutes Gasthaus, wir waren unter anderem bei einer Hochzeit dort, es gab ein richtig gutes Buffet. Unteranderem mit Truthahn, Rinderrouladen, Schweinefilet und genug Auswahl an Gemüse und Beilagen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Essen und Service immer perfekt. Im August 2023 haben meine Frau und ich, wie damals schon meine Eltern, bei Peters geheiratet. Der Festsaal ist einmalig und die Feier war perfekt. Alle Gäste haben vom Buffet geschwärmt. Dazu hat uns allen besonders die große Theke und die Nähe zur Tanzfläche gefallen. Zusammen mit Deko, DJ und dem Service war die Hochzeitsfeier ein Traum. Vielen Dank für die Unterstützung bei der Planung und dem Service an das gesamte Gasthaus Peters Team. Bis dahin, wir sehen uns regelmäßig zum Essen bei euch.
