An absolutely terrible experience. We've been sitting in the restaurant for two hours now and are still waiting for our dishes. Just a round of dishes that we had ordered 45 minutes before. They didn't even inform us about the delay until we asked after 90 minutes. And the staff doesn't even apologize or understand the delay. Absolutely disappointing.
The place is clear, many sessions
Choose pasta or pizza and put the ingredients you want
The food is delicious, fresh, and good for you💕
The staff is very courteous and wonderful
The place is great and comfortable
I definitely recommend it 🧡✌🏻 Anyone who comes to Dusseldorf should try it 👍
Great, here's an adapted review with the title:

Simple & Fresh is a small treasure in the city center that can be easily overlooked. From the outside, everything is modest and quiet, but once you go inside, a completely different story begins. The bowls here are simply gorgeous: fresh, filling, perfectly balanced in taste. It is obvious that everything is made with love and attention to detail.
Special thanks to the staff - incredibly warm and responsive people, create a feeling that you are visiting good friends.
Now Simple & Fresh is my personal must-visit when I want something tasty and healthy without unnecessary pathos.
Very tasty, typical food!
We were welcomed so warmly and openly and served very attentively the entire time. It's very comfortable, so everything fits perfectly! If we are back in Düsseldorf soon, we would love to come back!! Thank you!
Fast - inexpensive - good quality????
Our feeling and feeling from the taste: Well, 4 people didn't notice anything about the good quality.
Spring rolls and breaded shrimps were very greasy. The paper bags just oozed oil. Noodle with shrimp, shrimp were not edible.
Duck 1/3 not edible due to hard crust. Rice too moist and had a strange taste. We are still trying to identify if it was a Chinese sweet and sour sauce.
Then we would unfortunately have to answer the question of whether 54 euros was cheap.
Definitely not again.

Excellent food and warm service – a real highlight in Düsseldorf!
Today we were in the beer garden at Monte Christo, Wiedfeld 101, in Düsseldorf and were absolutely thrilled! As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the boss, who guided us through the small but fine menu with a lot of charm and competence. Her recommendations were to the point - you can immediately tell that the work here is done with passion.
The food, the freshly baked bread with dips, as well as the grilled kabab skewers were very tasty: everything was freshly prepared, tasted excellent and prepared very lovingly. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the experience in the kitchen. We would also like to particularly emphasize the excellent price-performance ratio - you really get something for your money here.
The beer garden also offers a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere - perfect for escaping from everyday life and simply enjoying yourself.
We will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Monte Christo - a real insider tip in Düsseldorf Himmelgeist/Itter but a little outside, very close to the Rhine! The journey there is definitely worth it.
I have to say something now: I don't go to the pottery room anymore because unfortunately it's more closed than open. The pub is closed, especially on public holidays and weekends, when people like to go out to eat and drink a delicious beer.
This is simply incomprehensible to me. I thought a pub thrives on being open and serving customers. Instead, it seems as if the innkeepers prioritize their own celebrations and events and simply ignore the customers.
I used to enjoy visiting the Pottery Room, but since it's been closed so often, I've been looking for other options. It's a shame because I have fond memories of the atmosphere and the food.
*Conclusion:* Unfortunately closed too often, not a good option for people who want to eat and drink.
