I can only recommend this restaurant. The food, ambience and, above all, service were top. As I said, special praise goes to the waitress, a young, blonde lady whose name I unfortunately don't know. She served what felt like 20 tables alone and there was never any delay. All in all a top restaurant. Clear recommendation
This is now my top-of-mind place to get natural wine. Good atmosphere and somewhat hidden. It’s a gem in Ehrenfeld. I would recommend and I will definitely go back.
PS: The food portion is quite small so if you’re hungry, better eat somewhere first. (I recommend the nearby Kebapland for a value for money dinner. Just beware of the queue.)
My wife and I ate there for the first time and absolutely loved it. The New Year's Eve menu was first class, accompanied by the friendliness of the extremely friendly staff.
You could taste the composition of the individual dishes, the unusualness and the love of preparing them. All dishes were adapted to be gluten-free for my wife.
Thank you for the interesting and lovely evening.
We have been coming here often for a long time and enjoy eating Yugoslavian cuisine. Small portion for older people and large portion for the older ones. Meat specialties very good and tasty. The quality and price performance is completely okay. Thanks to the boss for his effort. Addendum: We recently had dinner here again, unfortunately we don't have to eat there again, the quality of the food is no longer what it once was Yugoslavian specialties. Absolutely inedible my wife had eaten a piece of Cevapcici meat and left it lying around just like the rice. Artificial and very unpleasant to look at. My grill plate had the same problem, the rice was not original Yugoslavian thick rice grains and the cevapcici were just inedible and didn't have the real taste as usual. I paid a total of 54 euros for food that you don't have to eat. Oh my son's schnitzel was very tough and cold.
It reads on the internet as if it were a "normal" restaurant, but it's a little different due to the fact that you have a view of the tennis court 25m away. I personally liked it, but I would hold a meeting or something similar somewhere else. Food great, service speaks fluent German and Polish. Come again!
At first glance the store seems very classy and expensive, but you should have the courage to try something new because trying is better than studying.
A kebab now costs €7-8, and when it comes to meat you don't even really know what's actually in it.
The Tantuni is made from 100% REAL beef. Anyone who goes to a burger shop is prepared to pay just under €20 per person including a drink and a side dish.
Don't be blinded by the visuals and give food a chance. I personally recommend Kumru in bread. Simply amazing 😍 10/10
Excellent food and warm service – a real highlight in Düsseldorf!
Today we were in the beer garden at Monte Christo, Wiedfeld 101, in Düsseldorf and were absolutely thrilled! As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the boss, who guided us through the small but fine menu with a lot of charm and competence. Her recommendations were to the point - you can immediately tell that the work here is done with passion.
The food, the freshly baked bread with dips, as well as the grilled kabab skewers were very tasty: everything was freshly prepared, tasted excellent and prepared very lovingly. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the experience in the kitchen. We would also like to particularly emphasize the excellent price-performance ratio - you really get something for your money here.
The beer garden also offers a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere - perfect for escaping from everyday life and simply enjoying yourself.
We will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Monte Christo - a real insider tip in Düsseldorf Himmelgeist/Itter but a little outside, very close to the Rhine! The journey there is definitely worth it.
