For me, the Patio is a permanent address in Oldenburg when it comes to Spanish food. Right next to the train station, but nicely hidden in a small alley that is easy to miss. All the better that you know it, because the visit is definitely worth it. Spanish restaurants are in short supply in the north, and the patio does a lot of things right. The atmosphere is pleasantly lively, charmingly furnished and designed with great attention to detail. I prefer to sit upstairs because downstairs is more of a bar area for one or two people. Also nice, but simply more comfortable for eating upstairs. The food is consistently delicious. I particularly like ordering the tapa plates because you can try a lot and always feel full. There was something in the seasonal dishes that wasn't quite my cup of tea, but it was still well done and absolutely fine. The service is consistently friendly, whether at the bar or in the restaurant area. You receive warm service, special requests are no problem, and you can tell that everyone is making an effort here. Special requests were even spontaneously taken into account at the bar. The atmosphere is nice and warm, the shop has character, and you can not only eat well there, but also just have a relaxed drink. Ideal for an evening with friends or a glass of wine after work. Depending on the day, however, it's better to make a reservation because you can't always get a table spontaneously. I go to Patio regularly and can absolutely recommend it if you're in the mood for honest Spanish food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Highly recommended, the swimming pool flair that used to exist no longer exists. The breakfast is very rich and high quality. And very humane prices! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Really nice there! We'd love to come back!

In terms of taste, the food is almost a little better than “opposite”. Plenty of meat and good sauces. You really shouldn't expect anything from the ambience. 😁 The name says it all.
