I've lived in the area for almost a year now and have heard nothing but positive things about the restaurant. So I wanted to try it on the schnitzel buffet day. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. There were two types of schnitzel (chicken and pork), which were also very tasty. I expected them not to be nice and crispy at a buffet. Unfortunately, there were only two sauces to choose from (paprika sauce and mushroom cream sauce), and I don't eat mushrooms. The server brought me a sauce without mushrooms, but unfortunately, it still tasted like mushrooms because the mushrooms had just been fished out. On the side, there were fries, which were quite okay, and fried potatoes, which were more like sautéed potatoes or boiled potatoes, as they had little to do with fried potatoes. And a seasonal vegetable selection. You also had the option of something from the salad bar. However, the white and red cabbage here were far too acidic for my taste. And only one dressing to choose from. My conclusion: Meat is delicious. Sauce selection is very limited. I would recommend expanding the selection to four sauces; that's not modern cuisine anymore. A few lemon wedges would also be a real improvement. I'm happy to spend €2-3 more, because you just have to look around to see what other restaurants are doing for the same price these days. But as it is, I'll give the restaurant another chance just by ordering it from the menu and see if it lives up to the recommendations of my fellow diners.

I find the food very tasty, for example. The house plate or the Giros pizza with Metaxersouse. But I haven't been there for a long time and don't know the current prices. Since almost the first day, I've picked up food there or had it delivered when I was visiting friends nearby. The people in Saloniki are really nice and friendly. Unfortunately, since the prices have risen since 2023, it is only generally a luxury that one is allowed to order food there - of course everyone has to get their money's worth (I'm just personally not prepared to pay every price)! Updated at other Greek restaurants the prices are a little lower and even if you pick it up you also get an ouzo on the house. Update I've now heard from a few people that they don't go there anymore because it's no longer affordable. I'll try to keep myself up to date. If the price becomes cheap again, I'd really like to go there again! I've already tried a few Greek restaurants here in the Hanover area and have been able to admit a few differences here and there, but it's definitely the price performance for example. mixed plates below your prices here. There can't be lunch here because it's closed at lunchtime!
