Zum Waldschlösschen in Bad Münder am Deister

It was actually quite nice there. We ordered pizza and sat outside on the veranda. The pizza was very soggy and the crust was as thin as parchment paper. We also had an appetizer platter with zucchini and mushrooms, etc. It was cold and just out of a jar, much too expensive for that. The veranda hasn't been cleaned in a while. The flower boxes could also use a bit of sprucing up. And when there's a string of lights outside and it's getting dark, it looks nicer with them lit up. The service was nice but, sorry, a bit disorganized. It's a really nice place, but it lacks proper management. It has potential. Parking is available right outside.

The pizza and bruschetta were good. Unfortunately, the fettucine Gorgonzola didn't just contain cream, Gorgonzola, and Parmesan. It also contained a lot of spinach. Please add/correct this to the menu! The dish was ultimately a waste for us. It's too expensive for that.

The young waitress was extremely unfriendly and unabashedly expressed his need for control. The food was okay, but not a highlight. The location is absolutely beautiful.

The ambiance is nice and small but fits the location very well. We've eaten there twice now, once we ate in and the other time we ordered. Both times I had steak and carpaccio, and it was excellent. The pasta and pizza are also very good, not too greasy, very large portions, and the price-performance ratio is truly impeccable. The service is really friendly and very quick, and the food is always hot (when ordering hot/warm) and perfect for eating. I hope the quality stays this way and I can only recommend the Waldschlösschen. (They even included a free tiramisu with our order) 🦾

Very nice restaurant by the lake, with goldfish, water lilies, and frogs. We had a good meal there after a hike in the area – veal liver, pizzas, and a special ravioli from the daily special. All delicious. We would come again. You drive through the golf course on a small road. Arriving by car is recommended.

Six of us ate at the Waldschlösschen and we were all thrilled with this place. Both the pizza and pasta dishes—I had a fantastic pork fillet—and the turkey fillet were excellent. The liver, which wasn't on the menu, was also excellent. We had a great time with the friendly and very attentive service. Keep up the good work, we'd love to come back.

The food was great... The young waitress was a bit rushed... I eat very slowly and with great enjoyment. I had to watch my plates a bit, otherwise they would have been cleared away quickly. Otherwise, it was good.

I'm a professional chef myself and come from Schleswig Holstein :-) We had dinner with 11 people and everything worked wonderfully and the food was great. And as a little tip, a small portion of spaghetti is enough 😉😀 you will definitely be full.

Sitting there is super nice, but the service was a little annoyed I think. The food was delicious but unfortunately I wasn't satisfied for the higher price compared to other restaurants. Unfortunately my glass wasn't clean, that's probably why I even got herpes!! Maybe check next time, there was some residue everywhere. Luckily only from the outside. Short review: not recommended! More detailed review: -The pizza was delivered without cheese. There were very few anchovies on the pizza. (the example photo from an earlier review of an anchovy pizza shows how it was once served there, the difference is easy to see) -Some of the olives were badly burnt! The photo shows the burnt olives in great detail! -The seasoning was sprinkled in a heap on the edge of the pizza rather than spread all over the pizza. -I have never experienced such a carelessly thrown pizza. Every euro is too much for this service! Service: The staff preferred to play around on their cell phones instead of taking care of the guests. All in all, absolutely disappointing, it appears to be a very poorly run store. It should also be mentioned that we were guests at lunchtime during the week: THERE IS NO LUNCH CARD THERE, BUT ONLY THE NORMAL EVENING CARD!!! My tip: distance

Everything is great. Service was very pleasant, food was top. I deduct a star. At 28 degrees you could at least have asked if ice cream should be in the Fanta. I thought it was bad that used beer mats were served with the drinks. Ours were so dirty we wanted to put them on the glasses because of wasps. But that would have been disgusting The brewery gives you free beer mats. You can get new ones then. It felt like being given a dirty plate.

Ate currywurst with fries for the second time there. This time the fries weren't as tasty as the previous time! Normally fried in the deep fryer. The first time they were fried twice and coated in a fine breading. That was missing this time - unfortunately. The service was great!

The two of us ate there on Sunday. One plate was great (ravioli with asparagus) and one plate (spaghetti carbonara) was a flop. The shared starter (antipasti) was also good. The service was hardly available and the price-performance ratio was okay. There is more to the ambience, it was a bit bland/sober. We really liked the furniture.

I had dinner here for Mother's Day and it was delicious. Price-performance ratio is right, staff/owners pleasant and friendly. The house and outside seating areas and seating are well maintained and almost everything is new. But what is best of all is the idyllic location on the edge of the forest. You sit on the back terrace directly by the lake, but you should reserve in advance. And best of all: the restaurant is also open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday.

Visited the Waldschlösschen at 11:30 a.m. and sat down in the restaurant to order lunch. Nobody came to us to take an order until 11:45 a.m. We were the only guests. We then left the restaurant. A pity !

I'm Italian and can highly recommend this restaurant. Pizza, pasta, antipasti like in Italy, incredibly tasty and the tiramisu is a dream. It's good that you don't have to travel far away to get good quality food.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I was extremely disappointed. I specifically chose the Waldschlösschen for a family get-together; because I was extremely enthusiastic about the quality of the pizza I got here at the end of 2023. Really a pizza that I have only had the pleasure of receiving in this quality very rarely in my 40 years of pizza eating. Now, however, I have to realize that something has changed drastically, because the pizzas - and not just one, there were 6 in total - were terribly bad. The edge was several cm thick and more or less still raw. The whole pizzi was almost impossible to cut; they were chewy and soft. Some of the vegetables on the pizzi were also still raw and in the occupied area of ​​the pizzi, which was not very large due to the huge edge, the pizzi were completely soaked and therefore mushy. The salad has also lost quality and massively. Unfortunately, it was not possible for me to return these, in my opinion, outrageous dishes and ask for improvements because my companions would have found such a situation to be intolerably unpleasant and I did not want to/couldn't put them in such a compromising situation. Incidentally, I could also see that the pizza at the neighboring table had the same deficits. None of the pizza was fully baked. What a shame! But unfortunately this disappointment is now quite deep. Especially since I raved so much about the pizza beforehand and invited the company to the Waldschlösschen for that reason alone. Which was definitely the last time, because I have to work for my money and don't want to literally throw it out the window for such bad food. At this point: Thanks for nothing to the Walschlösschen team.

Wir kommen als Familie, als Geschwister, mit der Firma oder mit Freunden immer wieder gerne. Es ist immer lecker, bemüht und zügig. Alle sind sehr freundlich und wir fühlen uns jedes Mal wohl, egal ob nach der Arebit schnell ein Mittagessen oder entspannt zum Geburtstagsdinner. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren letzt Woche im Waldschloesschen und hatte n syrisches Essen bestellt. Das Essen war fantastisch!!! Service und Ambiente stimmten perfekt. Absoluter Hammer!!

Wir haben im Waldschlösschen vergangenen Samstag unsere Hochzeit mit 50 Personen gefeiert und was soll ich sagen... All unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Wir haben uns von Anfang an gut aufgehoben gefühlt, das gesamte Team ist super professionell und unfassbar freundlich. Jeder Wunsch konnte realisiert werden. Das Essen war perfekt. Wir wurden im Vorfeld super beraten und haben anschließend gemeinsam eine perfekte Menüauswahl getroffen, es hat jedem Gast ausgezeichnet geschmeckt! Dazu kommt die schöne Lage der Gaststätte! Also Leute was soll ich noch sagen.. Geht ins Waldschlösschen und genießt das gute Essen und die Gastfreundschaft. Danke an das Team vom Waldschlösschen, die diese schöne Feier realisiert haben. Erster Gedanke oh Weih wo sind wir gelandet. Aber denn absolut überrascht Cabonara und Steak und Pommes absolut topp. Service sehr nett und toller Blick zum Golfplatz. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dad Waldschlösschen sehr empfehlen.

Zum Kaffee und Kuchen lassen wie es in Zukunft lieber sein. Freundlichkeit haben wir hier auch nicht gefunden.

Das Waldschlösschen ist die Vereinsgasstätte vom Golfclub in Bad Münder. Entsprechend günstig ist das Preisgefüge. Die Speisenkarte ist italienisch ausgerichtert, allerdings fehlen die Pasta vollständig! Inhaber und Servicekräfte kommen aus Syrien. Auf Empfehlung ordern wir Pizzen, die gut belegt und lecker gemacht sind! Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger! Gut finde ich die Möglichkeit, auch "kleine Pizzen" für den leichten Hunger zu ordern. Schade, dass auf der Karte keine syrischen Gerichte zu finden sind, was sicher eine Bereicherung wäre. Angeblich gibt es anlassbezogen syrische Buffets, die man für Feiern jeder Art auch vorbestellen kann! Wunderschön ist die Lage des Waldschlösschen direkt am Waldrand. Die Terrasse, direkt vor einem Teich gelegen, ist schon klasse und meine Empfehlung für eine Tischreservierung!

Wir kamen ganz ohne Erwartungen hier her um eine Pizza zu essen und wurden vollstens überzeugt! Die Pizzen sind der Wahnsinn und eine klare Empfehlung. Das Ambiente macht eher nicht den Eindruck, als würde man hier eine perfekte Pizza bekommen, aber so mag der Eindruck täuschen. Wir kommen wieder.

Perfekte Pizza. Weicher aber knuspriger Boden, so wie es sein soll. Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Vielen Dank für die gute Zeit. Immer wieder gern bei Euch.
