A perfect evening at PASSIOPETUA!
We had the pleasure of having family dinner at PASSIOPETUA and the experience was entirely positive. The highlight of the evening for me was definitely the grilled ribeye steak, which I would, without exaggeration, describe as one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The stone oven pizzas were equally delicious – perfectly crispy and wonderfully seasoned. A real insider tip for pizza lovers!
Our 4 year old son loved the LOK spaghetti with tomato sauce and declared it to be the best spaghetti he has ever had. When asked if they tasted better than mom's, he unfortunately said "yes" to his mother's chagrin. My wife bravely accepted it and later asked for the recipe for the tomato sauce :)
Not only was the food excellent, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was inviting and truly unique for Marburg.
Also worth mentioning is the excellent service: fast, very friendly and courteous. We felt completely comfortable and well looked after.
We can recommend PASSIOPETUA to everyone who values high-quality food at a fair price. A must for every visitor and resident of Marburg!
Yesterday (Easter Saturday, March 30, 2024) my wife and I went on a hike to Bilstein again after many years and stopped at the restaurant for lunch.
Ate home-made bratwurst with potato salad and spit roast rolls with cabbage. Both were very good and grilled by the hut owner himself.
There was also cola and an Eschweger Zwicklbier, what more could you want.
In terms of price, everything is totally okay
The waitresses and the innkeeper were all very nice and always asked if everything was OK.
They were very attentive and we felt comfortable because we were able to have a nice chat with them.
That's how it has to be.
A great hut team!
Please keep it up and stay with many guests for a long time to come.
We'd love to come back.
(You deserve the full star rating.)
Very good food, expensive for what you get. However, the service was incredibly unfriendly – we were asked to leave with the bill even though the restaurant was almost empty.
The food was very good and the service was also attentive. Delicious asparagus soup and the green sauce with boiled beef was a dream.
Thank you very much, we'll be back.
The wine cellar in Ober-Mumbach is a traditional restaurant with many Odenwald specialties at very fair prices. The staff is very friendly. Of course, we like the 'beer garden' best in summer when you can eat outside again.
This ayran was delivered to eat on October 24th, 2023... 20 days after the best before date (picture), which creates little trust in the freshness of other ingredients.
The burger we ordered was rather cold because the driver drove to the wrong address twice. (That wasn't the first time either). The mint sauce is a nice idea, but if the patti is cold and hard as a rock, even the best sauce can't save it.
It's a shame, we were actually thrilled at first, but that was probably the last time we ordered from the store today.
