I spent two nights in this small but lovely hotel. Located in the heart of Bad Freienwalde's old town. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The lovely Dani had some cheeky remarks. I really liked that. You feel like you're in good hands. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was functional and also very clean. The drinks and food were delicious. Compliments to the kitchen. The portions were gigantic. The breakfast buffet was beautifully presented and the selection was good. The latte macchiato was also delicious. Thank you for the lovely stay.

So delicious, the Soljanka is absolutely delicious, the StrammeMax as well, lunch is also highly recommended, great staff and clean atmosphere, somehow cozy despite the size. Highly recommended

Very tasty dishes. Everything homemade & freshly prepared. Staff was also very careful & friendly. Great ambience, directly overlooking the lake. And best of all: dogs have to stay outside! Finally a restaurant where hygiene is more important than man's best friends.

We come here specifically for the Pizza Diabolo. It's so delicious, with a beer... what more could you want.

This slaughter festival in the country inn is really recommended, all the delicacies are homemade and of very good taste and quality. You can then purchase homemade sausage specialties such as blood sausage and liver sausage, sausage in jars or sausage soup and pot sausage, etc. All very tasty

The food is really good, although the portion of tzatziki with the gyro could be a bit larger. The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambience is so-so.

Very nice food. Only my pasta was cold today, but the tomato sauce was already at a good temperature.

We are very disappointed! Were there today for the first and definitely the last time! We wanted to eat plinse at coffee time and sorry, but I've never eaten such bad plinse! No side dish, just plain with sugar/cinnamon. No applesauce, ice cream, nothing was offered! And unfortunately you didn't taste it either! A very strange aftertaste! Then the super bad service! We were just asked what we wanted to drink! There wasn't even juice for children! There was only red shower...that was it! We weren't even offered coffee, nothing! Or exactly that there was no menu that you could take a look at........ After we drank, we were left to our own devices and disappeared into the beer garden with others! Children kept running into the kitchen and they even had Nutella with the lentils! Others came to chat and stood in the kitchen door the whole time.......still others had coffee with them, which was then the payment! There was no overview of who the staff was there! ............ The mini "dining room" (if you can even call it that) wasn't exactly inviting! No music, you could see into the kitchen......... door to the toilet/yard constantly open! All in all, it was our first and definitely our last time there! As a guest you didn't have the feeling that you were welcome and unfortunately you weren't treated like a guest either! P.S. Even the parking situation was a joke! Everyone parks how and where they feel like it!

Good food, nice rooms, gladly again.

A beautiful castle hotel, quite ordinary from the outside, but cozy and stylish inside. Very nice rooms and a fantastic restaurant in the basement. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. There's something for everyone, young and old. There's a terrace for summer, with a direct view of the water. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would love to come back.
