Gasthof "Zum Elstertal" Zeischa Inh. Astrid Dehnz in Bad Liebenwerda

Beautiful, quiet, and cozy "village pub." The food was very tasty and the portions were very large. Top-notch. The food was freshly prepared, and the wait time was also completely reasonable. The ambiance is rather rustic with charm. Numerous antlers of various animal species as well as stuffed wild animals are on display. There's also a large hall with a heated oven for celebrations. The menu is straightforward, but also includes dishes that aren't always available, like shashlik, catfish, or elderberry soup. Everything is reasonably priced and still quite reasonable. Freshly tapped beer 🍺 is also available on tap. Both Pilsner and dark beer from Urkrostitzer. Half a liter costs €4.50. There are plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. You should still reserve a table in advance. The service, however, takes a bit of getting used to. 😉 But all in all, it's perfectly fine.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance on Saturday. The food was incredibly delicious and plentiful. The prices are still very reasonable, and you get very tasty food in generous portions. The staff was very friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised. We'll be back. Thank you!

A must if you are in the area, we have been to Zeischa several times in the last few years. The food is plentiful, tasty and not frozen, it is cooked with love👍Service👍 Some people criticize the boss's manner, but we cannot agree with this opinion. She is very nice, humorous and has never caused us any trouble. We have a dog too, and it has never been a problem and always gets fresh water, on the house😊 We belong to that group of dog owners who have their dogs under control and are of the opinion that dogs have no business being on a host's furniture!!! The ambience has also been criticized, but we have to disagree with that... it is not a 5 star hotel!!! It is a beautiful, old, well-maintained village inn, that shouldn't be forgotten. We always enjoy it there and will be happy to return in the years to come. A big thank you from us.

Good food, nice rooms, would go back.

We booked a Christmas lunch there with our family. The food was good, considering it's a rural inn, but the service...unfriendly, grumpy, and they could use some work on smiling. We found metal in our food and were told, according to the young waitress, that we picked it up from the floor. After explaining the situation, there was no apology, nor was there any mention of the metal or the food.

We ate there on Boxing Day. We all enjoyed the food. The portion sizes were also decent. Excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and seemed very competent. We'd be happy to go back!

On a Friday we were looking for a restaurant with lunch near Bad Liebenwerda. Here we found what we were looking for. I had elderberry soup and was immediately transported back to my childhood when grandma had it. A dream. Then we had game goulash and shish kebab. Honest food, freshly cooked and tasty. And then childhood again with woodruff lemonade on tap. Absolute recommendation.

Riesenportionen zu einem guten Preis. Freundliche Hausherrin und eine guter Koch. Extrawünsche werden erfüllt. Es wird Wert auf regionale Produkte gelegt. Einziger Maluspunkt ist die teilweise in die Jahre gekommenen Einrichtung. Wir sind zufrieden gewesen und kehren bei Gelegenheit wieder ein.

Die Wirtin wirkt ein bisschen mürrisch und ist sehr wortkarg. Wir haben Wildschweinbraten mit Mandelbrokkoli bestellt und ohne Nachfrage oder Hinweis einfach anstatt Brokkoli Rosenkohl serviert bekommen. Das Essen war gut,allerdings altbacken serviert. Insgesamt fanden wir die Preise für einen Landgasthof im Nirgendwo ziemlich überhöht!

Tolle Gaststätte freundliche Bedienung

Eine gute deutsche Küche mit preiswerten Speisen. Die Chefin hat den Laden im Alleingang voll im Griff und bleibt keine Antwort schuldig. Trotz belegtem Saal kam in der Versorgung keine Pause auf.

Es war wieder ein schöner Nachmittag. Das Essen war wieder vorzüglich schmackhaft und der Preis stimmt. Weiter so, Daumen hoch

Essen vorzüglich und reichhaltig, Inhaberin sehr nett und aufmerksam. Man sollte sich jedoch nicht vom etwas altmodischen Ambiente oder den zahlreichen ausgestopften Tieren abschrecken lassen. Wer darüber hinweg sehen kann, bekommt für wenig Geld gute (und z.T. regionale) Kost!

Gemütlicher Landgasthof mit regionaler, sehr guter Küche und einer Wirtin, die ihre Gäste zu verwöhnen weiß und immer für einen Spaß zu haben ist.
