Gaststätte am Waldbad in Bad Liebenwerda

Everything was great but the food was disgusting, what a shame!! :/

It's hard to believe that this seemingly inconspicuous little restaurant, which is "disguised" from the outside as a seaside snack bar, offers a really great menu that not only contains standards and the menus are also convincing. The fries are different and the salad plate is very large and beautifully presented.

Very tasty food, the cake is particularly recommended. Good seating options with a lot of shade. It's also a good place to celebrate a birthday.

For a snack by the lake, a real surprise. Although it is stressful, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is varied and really good for a location like this Everything from currywurst, schnitzel, salad to tarte flambée. Portions are OK and price/performance is right.

Thanks again for the great food. The location seems great, unfortunately I can't say anything about the adjacent water, as it is difficult to reach for people with walking difficulties due to stairs. It was still nice though

The food was plentiful, tasted very good and was also reasonably priced. Service was friendly. Many tables were reserved, but there were some free tables without pre-booking!

I was invited to my wife's aunt's 70th, first impression, the atmosphere is quite rustic, just like a tourist restaurant, the toilets are outside, it doesn't matter, you just don't stay there for long. The service was quick and the food tasted handmade, so it was all good! 👍 Fazir: If you are looking for a cheap location for a family celebration, Gaststätte am Waldbad Zeischa is the best place for you. I can only warmly recommend it!

An idyllic little place with cute gardens on one side and pleasant, forest-looking terrain on the other side, which stretches far around the partially still active quarry lake. A campsite adjacent to the restaurant offers space for relaxation. It is possible for hikers who are stable on foot to walk around the lake through slightly impassable terrain and to settle down at beach-like spots from time to time. Some places on the lake are rather unsuitable for soft feet, as there is plenty of gravel in the water here and there.

We spontaneously went to their restaurant yesterday for coffee. The cake was very tasty. The guest room is tastefully furnished and the tables are lovingly decorated. We went there for lunch today on our hike. It was wonderful all around and made you feel good. Very cozy by the warm oven, friendly service and super delicious food. The vegan offer was totally convincing with great dishes - the decision was difficult. Ultimately I ate salad on hash browns with falafel - it wasn't just a visual feast for the palate. You can tell that the owners run the restaurant with passion, creativity and love. And then many of the ingredients come from the region - great 👍

Today we had a very cozy and good lunch by the fireplace again, friendly service, everything was wonderful and made you feel good. We really enjoy coming to the Waldbad Restaurant, and also enjoy eating cake ;-), and we're already looking forward to summer and the always beautifully decorated terrace.

Very quiet location and great food.

We didn't go there for a long time because the impression from the outside was something like a GDR parking lot and billboards. It's good that we gave it a try in the summer and spent a nice afternoon outside with our grandson. The access to the lake and therefore the entertainment with good food for this situation motivated us to come back. The menu for this region is surprisingly modern and often deliciously regional. So a little hidden pearl that is not immediately visible. I'm always fascinated by the service. Structured and fast and nice for the crowd of guests. The next visit is planned.

Nach dem Baden zum Abendessen im Freien, netter Abschluss des Badevergnügens.

Wir haben nun schon zum zweiten Mal ein Wochenende lang mit einer großen Gruppe (20 Personen) das Frühstück auf der Terrasse genießen dürfen. Uns wurde ein schönes Wunsch-Buffet aufgebaut, Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten werden beachtet, es schmeckt und jeder wird hier satt. Danke ans Team! Wir kommen gern wieder!

Nicht zu vergleichen mit dem Imbiss im Camping Platz. Schade das man nur so lange warten muss bis man an der Reihe ist. Da stehen echt viele Badegäste an. Aber wenn man Mal dran ist geht es eigentlich ziemlich flott. Nicht schlecht auch die Piepser großes Lob. Top Pommes. Und Bier, Landskron. Sehr gut.

Wir hatten viel Gutes über diese Gaststätte gehört und dachten uns: gehen wir doch mal Probeessen, weil wir planten einen runden Geburtstag dort mit 22 Personen im September zu feiern. Leider waren wir vom Essen etwas enttäuscht, 0815 wie vom Kiosk, aber mit Gaststättenpreis. Die Geburtstagsfeier werden wir wohl nun woanders machen.

Unsere Hochzeitgesellschaft war begeistert. Essen + Service war wunderbar. Die Lokation ein Traum. Vielen Dank nochmal und Grüße von Familie Kleeberg+ Hund.

Sehr lecker, vom Hauptgericht bis zum Kuchen. Große Eisbrecherauswahl. Eine ganze Seite vegane Speisen auf der Karte, Angemessene Preise. Ausspannen auf der Sonnenterasse zwischen Kiefern. Und die Bedienung war auch noch nett. Was will man mehr.

Ein toller Ort um mit der Familie oder Freunden zu verweilen. Sehr als Ausflugsziel zu empfehlen in Verbindung mit einer Brikettfabrikbesichtung "Louise". Ein mega Erlebnis.

Gut geführte Waldgaststätte mit kleiner aber guter Speisekarte. Die Gerichte waren gut zu bereitet und wenn möglich aus der Region. Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Können wir als Ausflugslokal empfehlen.

Wir waren am Montag Gäste und haben uns wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt. So ein tolles Team,mega Service und hervorragendes Essen zu absolut moderaten Preisen. Einfach nur mit bestem Gewissen weiter zu empfehlen. Dankeschön😊...kommen bestimmt wieder.

Käsekuchen war lecker, Mitarbeiterin sind nett. Viele Optionen für Veganer und Vegetarier, mehr als man in manchen Restaurants in Großstädten findet. Aussicht war auch schön, nur darf man nicht runter zum Wasser mit dem Hund gehen.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir, Gäste vom Campingplatz gleich nebenan, haben heute sehr lecker zum Abendessen gegessen. Mit viel Gastfreundlichkeit wurden wir mit Hund sehr nett empfangen. Speisen werden super frisch zubereitet und mit Liebe serviert. Momentan ist es noch zu frisch um draussen im Biergarten zu sitzen, aber sobald dies möglich ist, lädt die Waldbad-Biergarten-Atmosphäre ein. Alles sehr gemütlich und sauber und Preis-Leistung top!!! Kommen gerne wieder...TIPP am besten reservieren, dann kommt man auch 100% zum Genuss

Überraschend große vegane Auswahl 👍 Wir waren zum Buffet mit 15 Leuten.

Das Essen ist einfach und schmeckt, es gibt ein Vegetarisches und Veganes Angebot. Die Bedienung war freundlich und es gab für die Kinder etwas zu Malen. Bei der Einrichtung ist noch mehr raus zu holen.
