If you’re Brazilian, even if you live in Europe—don’t go!
And if you do have to go, make sure you speak fluent German. The immigrant workers are very polite and attentive, but the German waiters at the outdoor restaurant are extremely rude and make jokes right to your face about the dish you choose or your attempt to speak German to make things easier. I’m not fluent in German, but I understand perfectly what they say. I’ve traveled to many places in Germany, and without a doubt, this was the worst place I’ve ever been in my life—both in Germany and anywhere else in the world.
The hotel’s indoor restaurant is self-service and no one needs to serve you, but the outdoor one is à la carte, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had—not just in this city, but in any part of Germany I’ve ever visited. This is a place I will never return to and would never recommend to anyone.
Great evening, we came from the mountain relatively late and were warmly welcomed and served. The pizza was a poem and the staff was super friendly and helpful
A good pizzeria
Price performance is all right
The ambience is okay
Service is also okay so far
So if you're in the mood for a quick pizza you can go here
Brilliant pizza 🍕 very nice boss - was even shown how he makes the pizza base - unfortunately we were just passing through 😕 would like to eat there more often - all the best
A real, original, cozy inn like from old times. Waltraud is an amazing landlady, friendly, nice and really on her toes.
The menu is completely adequate and everything on it tastes really delicious. Anyone who has been to Pegnitz and hasn't been to "Sclapp'n", that's the name of the inn here, has simply missed out on an original.
A thoroughly successful evening.
100 points for the speed and friendliness of the service and the same
100 points for the quality of the food.
I have never been served so quickly, even though the restaurant was busy.
Today for the first time a 1 star rating.
Mother's Day was planned with a boat trip and dinner afterwards. Unfortunately, everything turned out differently. Danube level too low, no boat trips.
I thought about it for a moment because I was very hungry.
Since we were already in Kelheim we went to the Weißes Bräuhaus Kelheim.
When we arrived in the beer garden, which was half empty despite Mother's Day, we found a nice spot.
Drinks were picked up and brought quickly. Then the drama began.
We ordered: salmon, roast pork, pork knuckle, 2x burgers and sauerbraten.
3 soups as a starter.
Time 11:58 a.m. (why so specific? We all had to laugh because it was like being at work in the direction of the canteen)
Then the time passed: 1/2 hour, 1 hour, 1 1/2 hours etc.
At around 1:30 p.m. we took the liberty of asking.
The answer was: everyone ordered at the same time (funny when we arrived half the garden was empty)
At some point it was 2:00 p.m. and we were actually about to leave.
What the surrounding table cleverly made into piles.
The first meals arrived at around 2:15 p.m. Ice cold, bread dumplings so hard you could use them as golf balls and fun with the same sauce for every dish (Sauerbraten)
Well, what can you say, hunger drives it in.
In the meantime it was 2:30 p.m. and there were still 2 burgers missing. Despite repeated requests, they didn't arrive.
Resigned, we wanted to pay and finally leave because two family members were really hungry.
When we asked who was in charge, a young lady came and told us flippantly that we had complained so we could finally leave.
We have never been treated so poorly and unfriendly in a restaurant.
I only felt sorry for my parents, who would also have been looking forward to a nice trip.
But what the heck, everyone should form their own opinion.
