We were there for Schnitzel Sunday. A well-attended restaurant. Reservation is mandatory. Very friendly staff. Short waiting times despite many guests. Delicious food.

The salads were excellent, the Cordón bleu was rather disappointing. Next time I'll order the Maultaschen, they were better

Food was mediocre. After ordering, the food arrived 5 minutes later. Fresh is different. The meat dishes are relatively expensive. Cheese spaetzle just average.

Visit in transit. Just a few kilometers from the motorway, we happened to find this traditional Bavarian, cozy restaurant and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Also some dishes for vegetarians. The service was excellent. Sale of various liqueurs that are suitable as souvenirs and gifts. Highly recommended!

I've never eaten such crap in my life. Price - performance is the last thing. In terms of taste, you can throw it in the trash. Pasta Pesto is a sold cheese cream sauce with a few herbs. The pizza is a joke. The taste is just like the topping itself. For that, over 30 euros is a laughing stock. So. Conclusion. If you want something good, you better take a look. This is definitely not acceptable.

Nice coffee. I missed friendly service. The restaurant was almost empty. Nevertheless, 2 coffees took quite a long time and were served without a smile or a friendly word.

We went to the Blauer Affe as a group today and unfortunately we were all disappointed again. We were disappointed on our last visit and tried again today. But unfortunately one has to realize that the splendor of bygone days has faded. It felt like we had to wait an eternity for the drinks we ordered or they were only brought to us when we asked again. All side salads came after the main course, which can happen if the restaurant was busy... which was not the case today at all. The worst thing, however, was that most of us found the main course to be partially inedible and only ate half of it. I myself had pasta with lemon-thyme cream sauce and turkey breast, although the pasta was completely overcooked and the ingredients were completely tasteless and one could only describe it as indefinable mush. This was definitely our last visit to the Blue Monkey today and it's just a shame to see how the quality has been steadily declining here for years and what has become of this once great restaurant.
