Blauer Affe Pizza-Café-Bar in Leutkirch im Allgäu

We went to the Blauer Affe as a group today and unfortunately we were all disappointed again. We were disappointed on our last visit and tried again today. But unfortunately one has to realize that the splendor of bygone days has faded. It felt like we had to wait an eternity for the drinks we ordered or they were only brought to us when we asked again. All side salads came after the main course, which can happen if the restaurant was busy... which was not the case today at all. The worst thing, however, was that most of us found the main course to be partially inedible and only ate half of it. I myself had pasta with lemon-thyme cream sauce and turkey breast, although the pasta was completely overcooked and the ingredients were completely tasteless and one could only describe it as indefinable mush. This was definitely our last visit to the Blue Monkey today and it's just a shame to see how the quality has been steadily declining here for years and what has become of this once great restaurant.

We spent a great evening at the Blauer Affen in Leutkirch and ate on the terrace. By chance we were lucky enough to have a musician play live that evening - a nice accompaniment to our visit! The food was delicious, we both had a burger with side dishes, and then cocktails, which were also very good. The prices are fair and the service is friendly and attentive. An all-round successful evening – we would love to come back!

A rarity these days! We love this restaurant. We are currently spending our vacation in the region and became aware of the restaurant while browsing through good reviews. Pasta dishes, pizza and pinsa were very tasty. The welcome and service were warm and full of attentiveness throughout. The children were kept busy with coloring books and puzzle books. We have rarely experienced such an all-round great visit to a restaurant. Therefore a very clear recommendation from us. Dear team, keep it up!

Went on vacation for a week at Center Parcs Allgäu and discovered and tried out the restaurant on a tour of Leutkirch. We were so excited that we drove here all week to eat. We tried everything from burgers to pasta to pizza and everything tasted very good. The service was attentive and everyone was very nice. We will definitely come again.

Learned about Pinsa, which I liked a lot. Great service, nice location.

Really delicious food with a great ambience inside. The outdoor area in the beautiful little old town of Leutkirch is also impressive and is fun to sit and enjoy. Gladly again!

Friendly, courteous staff - burgers and pizza were very tasty - drinks with and without alcohol (they also accommodated the request for a special drink that wasn't on the menu) - worth a visit.

A big compliment to the kitchen... we ate a gluten-free pasta dish and a super delicious pizza... we will come back...

Unfortunately, we have to agree with previous criticism. The service is a disaster, as is the noodles. These are completely overcooked and tasteless. It also had the worst bruschetta I've ever eaten. The operator's reaction was anything but professional. Very bad.

Went for lunch today, had 3 pizzas, 2 side salads, water, Fanta and Cola. I think the total €51 is totally justified. It makes you feel good as soon as you arrive. Great food with great taste. Unfortunately we live 300 km away otherwise we would we come more often.

We were there for dinner with children. The children's pizza was okay, but the children's pasta with tomato sauce was a disgrace. Completely tasteless. The children hardly touched it. Unfortunately, our criticism on site was not really taken seriously. The space of the restaurant is great, but unfortunately the service and quality are not at all. Won't go there for dinner again.

We had dinner with 10 people. The service was friendly and the food was really delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had a Lillet-Peach and a beer in the beautiful market square. The young man who served us shone with enthusiasm, spontaneity and wit. Unfortunately, you don't see that often anymore when someone really wants to do the job. It was the case here. 5 Stars! And yes, in our opinion the markings on the toilets were successful and funny ;-).

The food was incredibly tasty (according to the menu the menu was called "Monkey meets salmon" - pasta noodles in a cream sauce with red onions and salmon. You could choose different variations of the pasta noodles)😋 and the natural shandy with it was also a pleasure. Very nice atmosphere and great service! Value for money is right. We were there yesterday, eating with 8 people. The ambience was just great. You immediately felt comfortable. Food and drinks were prepared quickly and very tasty. The tables are far too close together, making it almost impossible to enjoy privacy. I ordered a drink for €3.90. When I paid, I WANTED to pay a total of €5 including the tip! I paid with a €10 note and waited for my €5 in change. Even after asking clearly several times, I didn't get my remaining money of €5 back! The waiter is very unprofessional and almost harassed my underage girlfriend and got uncomfortably close to her. the food and drinks are okay. However, the service is the last resort!! I don't plan on coming back!

We visited the Blauer Affen today and were warmly welcomed. The service was attentive and friendly. We also found the atmosphere very nice. The drinks were also great. Unfortunately we have to deduct points because of the food... The pizza was almost certainly from the freezer and the burgers were okay but unfortunately the bread was burnt. Unfortunately, when we asked whether the pizza was from the freezer, we didn't get an answer, which is a shame considering the price. Definitely recommended for cocktails etc. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to food.

The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. I wasn't told that the bulgur that came with my bowl was out, it was simply not put on the plate. Same with the avocado. Only when I asked him was they told that there was no more bulgur and the avocado was added. I felt a bit ripped off, simply leaving out important ingredients is a disgrace. The salad was also drowned in sauce. Nevertheless, the staff remained friendly and offered compensation. When I asked, I got a discount. I won't be coming back again.

Sehr nette Bedienung, die Kinderpizza ist sehr groß. Der Crispy Chicken war lecker. Der Fischburger ist nicht der Pradedisziplin 😏... Aber sonst haben wir uns mit Kind sehr wohl gefühlt...

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend im Freien mit rund 60 Personen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich und der Service war klasse. Den Ausklang haben wir im Club in toller, uriger Atmosphäre gefeiert.

Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, waren nur was trinken. Wenn das Essen so wie die Cocktails und der Service ist, ist's genial! Am Nachbartisch sah das alles gut aus. Tolles, modernes Ambiente, sehr nettes Personal mitsamt dem Chef. Wieder Leutkirch dann wieder "Blauer Affe". Danke!

Waren als Stop auf unserer Radtour im blauen Affen. Es gab zu der Uhrzeit gerade typisch italienische Gebäckspezialitäten die einfach nur lecker waren. Der junge Mann der uns bediente war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen und hat zum verweilen eingeladen. Die Speisekarte hat sich sehr gut gelesen. Da wir allerdings nur auf einem Tagesausflug waren, haben wir dieses Angebot nicht getestet. Beim nächsten Mal aber bestimmt.

Das es hat garnicht geschmeckt also kann man nicht gut es einfach Widerlich das Essen keine gute Empfehlung

Dienstag, nach dem Tag der deutschen Einheit 2022. Eein schöner Nachmittag in den Herbstferien, an dem es Touristen nach Leutkirch, auch zu Kaffee und Kuchen auf die Außenbestuhlung des Blauen Affen, der sich ja als "Restaurtant, Café, Lounge" versteht, am Kornmarktplatz zieht. Wir freuen uns über freie Plätze und einen freundlichen jungen, uns gern bedienen wollenden Menschen. Die/der uns dann jedoch gestehen muss, dass nur noch zwei Stück Torte vom Vortag zur Auswahl stehen. Alle Anfragen ihres Kollegen/Chefs/Vorgesetzten (m, w, d) nach Gebäck bei ortsansässigen Bäckereien seien abschlägig beschieden worden. Also hatten wir ja noch Glück, nicht wenige andere, sichtlich enttäuschte Gäste zogen, wohl in der Hoffnung anderweitig eine Kaffeepause einlegen zu können, weiter. Schade. Uns hat auch die alleingelassene junge Servicedame, die gern ihren Gästen zu einer angenehmen Rast und Stärkung verholfen hätte, leid getan. Deren Aufgabe, den/die blaue/n Oberaffen/-äffin zu lausen und ihm/ihr auf die Sprünge zu helfen, es wohl kaum sein kann ...

Prima gegeten, leuk terras op een pleintje onder de bomen. Kaart biedt meer dan alleen pizza en bediening is attent en vriendelijk

Wir haben im Außenbereich prima auf sehr bequemen Sesseln gesessen. Die männliche Bedienung war anzumerken das keine Freude am Service vorhanden ist, aber es war ok. Das Essen war in Ordnung nicht schlecht aber vom Preis her etwas zu teuer. Alles in allem man kann hingehen, da man schön sitzt.

Wir waren am ersten Abend unseres Urlaubs im blauen Affen und wollten etwas essen und trinken. Wir hatten uns selbst einen Tisch im Außenbereich ausgesucht und dort Platz genommen. Leider kam nie ein Kellner/in um uns zu bedienen. Im Gegenteil, die beiden „Servicekräfte“ standen gelangweilt herum. Nach 20 Minuten warten kam einer der beiden und fragte ob wir eine Geldbörse gesehen hätten, hat uns aber nicht gefragt ob wir etwas bestellen möchten. Den Nachbartisch mit seinen Freunden hat er aber sehr wohl bedient. Wir wollten aufgrund dessen letztendlich auch nichts mehr dort bestellen und haben uns ein schönes anderes Lokal ausgesucht, in dem wir wunderbar gegessen haben und die Bedienung uns Beachtung schenkte.
